(A Maschil of Asaph) Give ear, O my people, to my instruction; / Incline your ears to the words of my mouth.

I will open my mouth in a parable; / I will utter riddles from of old,

Which we have heard and known, / And our fathers have related to us.

我们不将这些事向他们的子孙隐瞒，要将耶和华当得的赞美，和祂的能力，并祂所作的奇事，述说给后代听。

我们不将这些事向他们的子孙隐瞒，要将耶和华的美德和他的能力，并他奇妙的作为，述说给后代听。

我们不把这些事向他们的子孙隐瞒，却要把耶和华应得的赞美、他的能力，和他所行的奇事，都向后代的人述说。

לֹ֤א נְכַחֵ֨ד׀ מִבְּנֵיהֶ֗ם לְדֹ֥ור אַחֲרֹ֗ון מְֽ֭סַפְּרִים תְּהִלֹּ֣ותיְהוָ֑ה וֶעֱזוּזֹ֥ו וְ֝נִפְלְאֹותָ֗יו אֲשֶׁ֣ר עָשָֽׂה׃

R

We will not hide them from their children, / But will relate to the generation to come / The praises of Jehovah and His strength / And His wondrous deeds that He has done.

We will not hide them from their children, shewing to the generation to come the praises of the LORD, and his strength, and his wonderful works that he hath done.

因为祂在雅各中立了见证，在以色列中设了律法，是祂吩咐我们祖宗，要他们给子孙知道的；

Indeed He has established a testimony in Jacob / And appointed a law in Israel, / Which He commanded our fathers / That they should make them known to their children;

R

That the generation to come, / The children to be born, may know them, / Who should arise and relate them to their children;

So that a later generation doth know, Sons who are born, do rise and recount to their sons,

好叫他们寄望于神，不忘记神的作为，惟要遵守祂的命令；

R

That they might set their hope in God, / And not forget the deeds of God, / But observe His commandments;

不至像他们的祖宗，是顽梗悖逆、居心不正之辈，他们的灵向着神不忠信。

R

That they might not be like their fathers, / A stubborn and rebellious generation, / A generation that did not set their heart right, / And whose spirit was not faithful to God.

They did not keep the covenant of God, / And they refused to walk in His law.

R

Yet they still continued to sin against Him, / To rebel against the Most High in the desert.

And they sinned yet more against him by provoking the most High in the wilderness.

And they put God to the test in their heart, / By asking for food according to their desire.

并且出言顶撞神，说，神岂能在旷野摆设筵席么？

וַֽיְדַבְּר֗וּ בֵּֽאלֹ֫הִ֥ים אָ֭מְרוּ הֲי֣וּכַל אֵ֑ל לַעֲרֹ֥ךְ שֻׁ֝לְחָ֗ןבַּמִּדְבָּֽר׃

R

They also spoke against God; / They said, Can God prepare a table in the wilderness?

K

Yea, they spake against God; they said, Can God furnish a table in the wilderness?

D

And they spoke against God: they said, Is God able to prepare a table in the wilderness?

Y

And they speak against God -- they said: 'Is God able to array a table in a wilderness?'

I

They spoke against God, saying, "Can God spread a table in the desert?

恢

看哪，祂曾击打磐石，使水涌出，如同江河泛滥；祂还能赐粮食么？还能为祂的百姓预备肉么？

和

他曾击打磐石，使水涌出，成了江河。他还能赐粮食吗？还能为他的百姓预备肉吗？”

他虽曾击打磐石，使水涌出来，好像江河泛滥，他还能赐粮食吗？他还能为自己的子民预备肉食吗？”

思

他虽能击石，使水涌出好似湍流；但岂能给人民备办鲜肉与食物？

他固然曾击打了磐石，使水涌出，溪谷泛滥，他还能赐食物么？还能为他人民预备肉食么？”

祂曾击打磐石，使水涌出，(如)江河泛滥；祂也能赐粮食吗？也能为祂的百姓预备肉吗？

הֵ֤ן הִכָּה־צ֨וּר׀ וַיָּז֣וּבוּ מַיִם֮ וּנְחָלִ֪ים יִ֫שְׁטֹ֥פוּהֲגַם־לֶ֭חֶם י֣וּכַל תֵּ֑ת אִם־יָכִ֖ין שְׁאֵ֣ר לְעַמֹּֽו׃

R

Behold, He struck the rock, / And water gushed out, / And streams overflowed; / Can He also give us bread, / Or provide meat for His people?

Behold, he smote the rock, that the waters gushed out, and the streams overflowed; can he give bread also? can he provide flesh for his people?

Behold, he smote the rock, and waters gushed out, and streams overflowed; is he able to give bread also, or provide flesh for his people?

Y

Lo, He hath smitten a rock, And waters flow, yea, streams overflow. 'Also -- bread is He able to give? Doth He prepare flesh for His people?'

I

When he struck the rock, water gushed out, and streams flowed abundantly. But can he also give us food? Can he supply meat for his people?"

所以耶和华听见，就发怒。有火向雅各烧起，有怒气向以色列上腾；

和

所以耶和华听见就发怒。有烈火向雅各烧起，有怒气向以色列上腾。

因此耶和华听见了，就大怒；有烈火在雅各烧起，有怒气向以色列发作。

天主听到后，遂即大发愤怒，烈火燃起，要将雅各伯焚去，怒燄生出，要将以色列铲除；

故此永恒主听见，就震怒；有烈火向雅各烧起；有怒气向以色列上腾；

所以，雅威听见就发怒；有烈火向雅各燃起；也有怒气向以色列上腾；

R

Therefore Jehovah heard and was angry. / And a fire was kindled against Jacob, / And also anger went up against Israel;

וַיַּךְ־צָרָ֥יו אָחֹ֑ור חֶרְפַּ֥ת עֹ֝ולָ֗ם נָ֣תַן לָֽמֹו׃

R

And He struck His adversaries and sent them back; / He put an everlasting reproach upon them.

And he smote his enemies in the hinder parts: he put them to a perpetual reproach.

And he smote his adversaries in the hinder part, and put them to everlasting reproach.

And He smiteth His adversaries backward, A reproach age-during He hath put on them,

He beat back his enemies; he put them to everlasting shame.

并且祂弃掉约瑟的帐棚，不拣选以法莲支派，

他弃绝约瑟的帐棚，不拣选以法莲支派，

他并且弃舍了若瑟的帐幕，不再拣选厄弗辣因的家族。

R

And He rejected the tent of Joseph, / And the tribe of Ephraim He did not choose.

Moreover he refused the tabernacle of Joseph, and chose not the tribe of Ephraim:

却拣选犹大支派，祂所爱的锡安山。

R

Rather He chose the tribe of Judah, / Mount Zion, which He loved.

And He chooseth the tribe of Judah, With mount Zion that He loved,

祂盖造祂的圣所，好像高峰，又像祂所建立永存之地。

他建造了自己的圣所好像在高天之上，又像他所建立永存的大地。

他建筑了圣殿如天之高远，永远奠定了它如地之牢坚。

And He built His sanctuary like the heights, / Like the earth that He has founded forever.

又拣选祂的仆人大卫，从羊圈中选取了他；
