耶和华向大卫凭真实起了誓,必不反复,说,我要从你本身所生的,立一位坐在你的宝座上。

耶和华实实在在向大卫起了誓,他必不会收回,他说:“我要从你的后裔中,立一位坐在你的王位上。

上主既然向达味起了誓,真理的约言决不再收回:“我要使你的亲生儿子,荣登上你自己的王位;

雅威向大卫凭信实起了誓,必不反复,(说:)我要使从你而出的,就是你肚腹所生的,坐在你的宝座上。

Jehovah has sworn unto David in truth; / He will not turn from it: / Of the fruit of your body I will set One upon your throne.
