In the second year of Darius the king, in the sixth month, on the first day of the month, the word of Jehovah came through Haggai the prophet unto Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, the governor of Judah, and unto Joshua the son of Jehozadak, the high priest, saying,

万军之耶和华如此说，这百姓说，建造耶和华殿的时候尚未来到。

כֹּ֥ה אָמַ֛ר יְהוָ֥ה צְבָאֹ֖ות לֵאמֹ֑ר הָעָ֤ם הַזֶּה֙ אָֽמְר֔וּ לֹ֥א עֶת־בֹּ֛א עֶת־בֵּ֥ית יְהוָ֖ה לְהִבָּנֹֽות׃פ

Thus says Jehovah of hosts, saying, This people says, The time has not come, the time for the house of Jehovah to be built.

“当这座殿宇还是一堆废墟时，难道为你们就到了住在有天花板的房屋的时候？

‘这殿荒废无镶盖，而你们自己到住在有镶盖的房屋：难道这就是这样作的时候么？

…这是你们住有屋顶覆盖之房屋的时候吗？”“这殿荒凉，

הַעֵ֤ת לָכֶם֙ אַתֶּ֔ם לָשֶׁ֖בֶת בְּבָתֵּיכֶ֣ם סְפוּנִ֑ים וְהַבַּ֥יִת הַזֶּ֖ה חָרֵֽב׃

Is it time for you yourselves to dwell in your paneled-up houses, while this house lies waste?

Is it time for you, O ye, to dwell in your cieled houses, and this house lie waste?

Is it time for you that ye should dwell in your wainscoted houses, while this house lieth waste?

Is it time for you -- you! To dwell in your covered houses, And this house to lie waste?

Is it a time for you yourselves to be living in your paneled houses, while this house remains a ruin?

现在万军之耶和华如此说，你们要省察自己的行径。

如今万军的上主这样说：你们应细心考虑一下你们的行径！

你们要上山取木料，建造这殿；我就因此喜乐，且得荣耀；这是耶和华说的。

你们要上山取木材，建造殿宇；我必因此喜悦，并且得荣耀。”耶和华说：

你们应上山去，搬运木材，建造殿宇！我必因此喜悦，并发显光荣──上主说。

עֲל֥וּ הָהָ֛ר וַהֲבֵאתֶ֥ם עֵ֖ץ וּבְנ֣וּ הַבָּ֑יִת וְאֶרְצֶה־בֹּ֥ו וְאֶכָּבֵד אָמַ֥ר יְהוָֽה׃

Go up to the mountain and bring wood and build the house, and I will take pleasure in it and will be glorified, says Jehovah.

你们期望丰收，看，反而歉收；你们运到家里，我反把它吹散；这是为了什么？──万军上主的断语──是为了我的殿宇尚在荒废，而你们竟各自赶造自己的房屋。

你们向慕着多，你看，却得的少；你们收到家里，我给吹去。为什么？万军之永恒主发神谕说：因为我的殿荒废，而你们各人却迳为自己的房屋奔跑啊。

“你们盼望多得，所得的却少；你们收到家中，我就吹去。这是为什么呢？…这是万军之雅威的话语。因为我的殿荒凉，你们各人却顾(原文是奔)自己的房屋。”

פָּנֹ֤ה אֶל־הַרְבֵּה֙ וְהִנֵּ֣ה לִמְעָ֔ט וַהֲבֵאתֶ֥ם הַבַּ֖יִת וְנָפַ֣חְתִּי בֹ֑ו יַ֣עַן מֶ֗ה נְאֻם֙ יְהוָ֣ה צְבָאֹ֔ותיַ֗עַן בֵּיתִי֙ אֲשֶׁר־ה֣וּא חָרֵ֔ב וְאַתֶּ֥ם רָצִ֖ים אִ֥ישׁ לְבֵיתֹֽו׃

You expected much, but see, it turned out to be little. What you brought home, I blew away. Why? declares the Lord Almighty. "Because of my house, which remains a ruin, while each of you is busy with his own house.

Therefore over you the heavens withhold their dew, and the earth withholds its yield.

Therefore the heaven over you is stayed from dew, and the earth is stayed from her fruit.

Therefore, over you refrained have the heavens from dew, And the land hath refrained its increase.

我召唤干旱临到地土、山冈、五谷、新酒和新油，并地的出产、人民、牲畜，以及人手一切劳碌得来的。

我叫干旱临到大地、群山、五谷、新酒、新油、地上的出产、人畜和人手劳碌得来的一切。”

因为我向大地、群山、五谷、新酒、新油、田地的出产、人畜和手中的一切工作招来了旱灾。”

我呼叫干旱（与上‘荒废’一词同字根）临到了地上山冈，临到五谷、新酒、新油、和土地的出产，临到了人类、牲口、以及人手所劳碌得来的一切东西。”

我命干旱临到地土、山冈、五谷、新酒，和油，并地上的出产，临到人民、牲畜，以及一切人手劳碌得来的。”

Indeed I called for a drought upon the land and upon the mountains and upon the grain and upon the new wine and upon the fresh oil and upon that which the ground brings forth and upon man and upon beast and upon all the toil of the hands.

And I called for a drought upon the land, and upon the mountains, and upon the corn, and upon the new wine, and upon the oil, and upon that which the ground bringeth forth, and upon men, and upon cattle, and upon all the labour of the hands.

那时，撒拉铁的儿子所罗巴伯和约撒答的儿子大祭司约书亚，并一切余剩的百姓，都听从耶和华他们神的话，和耶和华他们神所差来申言者哈该的话；百姓也在耶和华面前存敬畏的心。

那时，撒拉铁的儿子所罗巴伯和约撒答的儿子大祭司约书亚，并剩下的百姓，都听从耶和华他们神的话，和先知哈该奉耶和华他们神差来所说的话；百姓也在耶和华面前存敬畏的心。

那时，撒拉铁的儿子所罗巴伯、约撒答的儿子大祭司约书亚和所有余剩的子民，都听从了耶和华他们神的话，听从了耶和华他们神所差来的哈该先知的话。众民在耶和华面前都存着敬畏的心。

于是沙耳提耳的儿子则鲁巴贝耳，约匝达克的儿子大司祭耶叔亚，以及全体遗民都听从了上主，他们天主的声音，也听从了上主，他们的天主给他们派遣来的哈盖先知的话；因此百姓在上主面前都起了敬畏的心。

那时撒拉铁的儿子所罗巴伯和约撒答的儿子大祭司约书亚、以及所有剩下的人民、都听从了永恒主他们的上帝的声音、和永恒主他们的上帝所差遣的神言人哈该的话；人民也在永恒主面前都存着敬畏的心。

那时，撒拉铁的儿子所罗巴伯…都听从和约萨达的儿子大祭司约书亚，和流亡归来的百姓，雅威──他们神的声音，和先知哈该奉雅威──他们神差来所说的话；百姓都敬畏雅威。

וַיִּשְׁמַ֣ע זְרֻבָּבֶ֣ל׀ בֶּֽן־שַׁלְתִּיאֵ֡ל וִיהֹושֻׁ֣עַ בֶּן־יְהֹוצָדָק֩ הַכֹּהֵ֨ן הַגָּדֹ֜ול וְכֹ֣ל׀ שְׁאֵרִ֣ית הָעָ֗םבְּקֹול֙ יְהוָ֣ה אֱלֹֽהֵיהֶ֔ם וְעַל־דִּבְרֵי֙ חַגַּ֣י הַנָּבִ֔יא כַּאֲשֶׁ֥ר שְׁלָחֹ֖ו יְהוָ֣ה אֱלֹהֵיהֶ֑ם וַיִּֽירְא֥וּ הָעָ֖םמִפְּנֵ֥י יְהוָֽה׃

And Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel and Joshua the son of Jehozadak, the high priest, and all the remnant of the people listened to the voice of Jehovah their God and to the words of Haggai the prophet, as Jehovah their God had sent him; and the people were in fear before Jehovah.

Then Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, and Joshua the son of Josedech, the high priest, with all the remnant of the people, obeyed the voice of the LORD their God, and the words of Haggai the prophet, as the LORD their God had sent him, and the people did fear before the LORD.

And Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, and Joshua the son of Jehozadak, the high priest, and all the remnant of the people, hearkened to the voice of Jehovah their God, and the words of Haggai the prophet, according as Jehovah their God had sent him, and the people feared before Jehovah.

And Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel, and Joshua son of Josedech, the high priest, and all the remnant of the people, do hearken to the voice of Jehovah their God, and unto the words of Haggai the prophet, as Jehovah their God had sent him, and the people are afraid of the face of Jehovah.

Then Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel, Joshua son of Jehozadak, the high priest, and the whole remnant of the people obeyed the voice of the Lord their God and the message of the prophet Haggai, because the Lord their God had sent him. And the people feared the Lord .

耶和华的使者哈该奉耶和华的差使对百姓说，耶和华说，我与你们同在。

耶和华的使者哈该奉耶和华差遣对百姓说，“耶和华说：我与你们同在。”

耶和华的使者哈该，奉耶和华的命，对众民说：“耶和华说：‘我与你们同在。’”

上主的使者哈盖就以上主使者的名义向人民说：我与你们同在──上主的断语。

永恒主的使者哈该将永恒主的使命对人民说：“永恒主发神谕说：是我与你们同在。”

雅威的使者哈该向百姓传扬雅威的信息，说：“我与你们同在，这是雅威的话语。”

וַ֠יֹּאמֶר חַגַּ֞י מַלְאַ֧ךְ יְהוָ֛ה בְּמַלְאֲכ֥וּת יְהוָ֖ה לָעָ֣ם לֵאמֹ֑ר אֲנִ֥י אִתְּכֶ֖ם נְאֻם־יְהוָֽה׃

Then Haggai, Jehovah's messenger, spoke in Jehovah's message to the people, saying, I am with you, declares Jehovah.

Then spake Haggai the LORD'S messenger in the LORD'S message unto the people, saying, I am with you, saith the LORD.

Then spoke Haggai, Jehovah's messenger, in Jehovah's message unto the people, saying, I am with you, saith Jehovah.

And Haggai, messenger of Jehovah, in messages of Jehovah, speaketh to the people, saying: 'I am with you, an affirmation of Jehovah.'

Then Haggai, the Lord 's messenger, gave this message of the Lord to the people: "I am with you," declares the Lord .

耶和华激动撒拉铁的儿子犹大省长所罗巴伯的灵，和约撒答的儿子大祭司约书亚的灵，并一切余剩之百姓的灵；他们就来，在万军之耶和华他们神的殿作工。

耶和华激动犹大省长撒拉铁的儿子所罗巴伯和约撒答的儿子大祭司约书亚，并剩下之百姓的心，他们就来为万军之耶和华他们神的殿作工。

于是耶和华激发了撒拉铁的儿子、犹大省长所罗巴伯的心，和约撒答的儿子大祭司约书亚的心，以及所有余剩子民的心，他们就来兴工建造万军之耶和华他们神的殿宇。

于是上主振兴起了沙耳提耳的儿子犹大省长则鲁巴贝耳的精神，以及约匝达克的儿子大司祭耶叔亚的精神，和全体遗民的精神，他们便都前来兴工建造万军的上主，他们的天主的圣殿。

永恒主激动了撒拉铁的儿子犹大省长所罗巴伯的心（希伯来文：灵），和约撒答的儿子大祭司约书亚的心（希伯来文：灵）以及所有剩下的人民的心（希伯来文：灵），他们就来，从事于重建为万军之永恒主他们的上帝之殿的工作。

雅威感动．撒拉铁的儿子犹大省长所罗巴伯．和约萨达的儿子大祭司约书亚，并流亡归来之百姓的心，他们就来为他们神──万军之雅威的殿做工。

וַיָּ֣עַר יְהוָ֡ה אֶת־רוּחַ֩ זְרֻבָּבֶ֨ל בֶּן־שַׁלְתִּיאֵ֜ל פַּחַ֣ת יְהוּדָ֗ה וְאֶת־ר֨וּחַ֙ יְהֹושֻׁ֤עַ בֶּן־יְהֹוצָדָק֙הַכֹּהֵ֣ן הַגָּדֹ֔ול וְֽאֶת־ר֔וּחַ כֹּ֖ל שְׁאֵרִ֣ית הָעָ֑ם וַיָּבֹ֨אוּ֙ וַיַּעֲשׂ֣וּ מְלָאכָ֔ה בְּבֵית־יְהוָ֥ה צְבָאֹ֖ותאֱלֹהֵיהֶֽם׃ פ

And Jehovah stirred up the spirit of Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, the governor of Judah, and the spirit of Joshua the son of Jehozadak, the high priest, and the spirit of all the remnant of the people; and they came and did work in the house of Jehovah of hosts their God,

So the Lord stirred up the spirit of Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and the spirit of Joshua son of Jehozadak, the high priest, and the spirit of the whole remnant of the people. They came and began to work on the house of the Lord Almighty, their God,
