人子啊,你要告诉本族的子民说,我若使刀剑临到那一地,那一地的民从他们中间选取一人,立他为守望的,

“人子啊,你要告诉本国的子民说:我使刀剑临到哪一国,那一国的民从他们中间选立一人为守望的。

בֶּן־אָדָ֗ם דַּבֵּ֤ר אֶל־בְּנֵֽי־עַמְּךָ֙ וְאָמַרְתָּ֣ אֲלֵיהֶ֔ם אֶ֕רֶץ כִּֽי־אָבִ֥יא עָלֶ֖יהָ חָ֑רֶב וְלָקְח֨וּ עַם־הָאָ֜רֶץאִ֤ישׁ אֶחָד֙ מִקְצֵיהֶ֔ם וְנָתְנ֥וּ אֹתֹ֛ו לָהֶ֖ם לְצֹפֶֽה׃
R
Son of man, speak to the children of your people, and say to them, Whenever I bring the sword upon a land and the people of the land take a man from their midst and set him up as their watchman,

Son of man, speak to the children of thy people, and say unto them, When I bring the sword upon a land, if the people of the land take a man of their coasts, and set him for their watchman:

'Son of man, speak unto the sons of thy people, and thou hast said unto them: A land -- when I bring in against it a sword, And the people of the land have taken one man out of their borders, And made him to them for a watchman.

Son of man, speak to your countrymen and say to them: 'When I bring the sword against a land, and the people of the land choose one of their men and make him their watchman,

And when he sees the sword come upon the land, he blows the trumpet and warns the people;

If when he seeth the sword come upon the land, he blow the trumpet, and warn the people;

if he see the sword coming upon the land, and blow the trumpet, and warn the people;

And he hath seen the sword coming against the land, And hath blown with a trumpet, and hath warned the people,

and he sees the sword coming against the land and blows the trumpet to warn the people,

凡听见角声不受警戒的,刀剑若来除灭了他,流他血的罪就必归到他自己的头上。

Then whoever hears the sound of the trumpet and ignores the warning, if the sword comes and takes him away, his blood will be on his own head.

倘若守望的人见刀剑临到,不吹角,以致民不受警戒,刀剑来杀了他们中间的一个人,他虽然死在罪孽之中,我却要向守望的人讨他丧命的罪(“罪”原文作“血”)。

But if the watchman sees the sword come and does not blow the trumpet and the people are not warned and the sword comes and takes someone away from them, he is taken away in his iniquity, but his blood I will require at the watchman's hand.

But if the watchman see the sword come, and blow not the trumpet, and the people be not warned; if the sword come, and take any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at the watchman's hand.

And the watchman, when he seeth the sword coming in, And he hath not blown with a trumpet, And the people hath not been warned, And come in doth a sword, And taketh away of them -- a soul, He in his iniquity is taken away, And his blood from the hand of the watchman I require.
I
But if the watchman sees the sword coming and does not blow the trumpet to warn the people and the sword comes and takes the life of one of them, that man will be taken away because of his sin, but I will hold the watchman accountable for his blood.'

人子啊,我立了你作以色列家守望的人,你要听我口中的话,替我警戒他们。

R
It is you, O son of man, whom I have appointed as a watchman to the house of Israel; therefore when you hear the word from My mouth, give them warning from Me.

So thou, O son of man, I have set thee a watchman unto the house of Israel; therefore thou shalt hear the word at my mouth, and warn them from me.

So thou, son of man, I have set thee a watchman unto the house of Israel; and thou shalt hear the word from my mouth, and warn them from me.

And thou, son of man, A watchman I gave thee to the house of Israel, And thou hast heard from My mouth a word, And thou hast warned them from Me.

Son of man, I have made you a watchman for the house of Israel; so hear the word I speak and give them warning from me.

我何时指着恶人说,恶人哪,你必要死;你若不发言警戒恶人,使他离开他的行径,那恶人必因自己的罪孽而死,我却要从你手中追讨流他血的罪。

我对恶人说:‘恶人哪,你必要死!’你以西结若不开口警戒恶人,使他离开所行的道,这恶人必死在罪孽之中,我却要向你讨他丧命的罪(“罪”原文作“血”);

When I say to the wicked, O wicked man, you will surely die, and you do not speak to warn the wicked from his way, that wicked man will die in his iniquity, but his blood I will require at your hand.

When I say unto the wicked, O wicked man, thou shalt surely die; if thou dost not speak to warn the wicked from his way, that wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand.

When I say to the wicked, 'O wicked man, you will surely die,' and you do not speak out to dissuade him from his ways, that wicked man will die for his sin, and I will hold you accountable for his blood.

倘若你警戒恶人转离他的行径,他仍不转离,他必因自己的罪孽而死,你却救了自己的性命。
和
倘若你警戒恶人转离所行的道,他仍不转离,他必死在罪孽之中,你却救自己脱离了罪。”

Yet if you warn the wicked man of his way to turn from it and he does not turn from his way, he will die in his iniquity, and you have delivered your soul.

Nevertheless, if thou warn the wicked of his way to turn from it; if he do not turn from his way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul.

人子啊,你要对以色列家说,你们这样说,我们的过犯和我们的罪在我们身上,我们必因此消灭,怎能存活呢?

וְאַתָּ֣ה בֶן־אָדָ֗ם אֱמֹר֙ אֶל־בֵּ֣ית יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל כֵּ֤ן אֲמַרְתֶּם֙ לֵאמֹ֔ר כִּֽי־פְשָׁעֵ֥ינוּ וְחַטֹּאתֵ֖ינוּ עָלֵ֑ינוּוּבָ֛ם אֲנַ֥חְנוּ נְמַקִּ֖ים וְאֵ֥יךְ נִֽחְיֶֽה׃

And you, son of man, say to the house of Israel, This is what you speak, saying, Our transgressions and our sins are upon us, and because of them we are wasting away. How then can we live?

Therefore, O thou son of man, speak unto the house of Israel; Thus ye speak, saying, If our transgressions and our sins be upon us, and we pine away in them, how should we then live?
D
And thou, son of man, say unto the house of Israel, Thus ye speak, saying, Our transgressions and our sins are upon us, and we waste away in them, how then should we live?
Y
And thou, son of man, say unto the house of Israel: Rightly ye have spoken, saying: Surely our transgressions and our sins are on us, And in them we are wasting away, How, then, do we live?
I
Son of man, say to the house of Israel, 'This is what you are saying: Our offenses and sins weigh us down, and we are wasting away because of them. How then can we live?" '

你要对他们说,主耶和华说,我指着我的生存起誓,我断不喜悦恶人死亡,惟喜悦恶人转离他的行径而活。以色列家啊,你们转离,转离邪恶的行径吧,何必死亡呢?
和
你对他们说,主耶和华说:我指着我的永生起誓,我断不喜悦恶人死亡,惟喜悦恶人转离所行的道而活。以色列家啊,你们转回、转回吧!离开恶道,何必死亡呢?

你要对他们说:‘主耶和华这样宣告:我指着我的永生起誓,我绝不喜悦恶人死亡,却喜悦恶人离开他所行的,得以存活。以色列家啊,回转吧!离开你们所行的,何必死亡呢?’

你要告诉他们:我指着我的生命起誓──吾主上主的断语──我决不喜欢恶人丧亡,但却喜欢恶人归正,离开邪道,好能生存。以色列家族啊!归正吧!归正吧!离开你们的邪道吧!何必要死去呢?

你要对他们说:主永恒主发神谕说:我指着永活的我来起誓:我绝不喜悦恶人死亡;我乃是喜欢恶人回转离开他的行径以得活着。回转吧!回转!离开你们的坏行径哦!何必死亡呢?以色列家啊?

你要对他们说,…我指着我的永生起誓,主神说:我断不喜悦恶人死亡,惟喜悦恶人转离他所行的道而存活。…你们转回,转离恶道吧!何必死亡呢?以色列家啊,

אֱמֹ֨ר אֲלֵיהֶ֜ם חַי־אָ֣נִי׀ נְאֻ֣ם׀ אֲדֹנָ֣י יְהוִ֗ה אִם־אֶחְפֹּץ֙ בְּמֹ֣ות הָרָשָׁ֔ע כִּ֣י אִם־בְּשׁ֥וּב רָשָׁ֛עמִדַּרְכֹּ֖ו וְחָיָ֑ה שׁ֣וּבוּ שׁ֜וּבוּ מִדַּרְכֵיכֶ֧ם הָרָעִ֛ים וְלָ֥מָּה תָמ֖וּתוּ בֵּ֥ית יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ פ

Say to them, As I live, declares the Lord Jehovah, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but that the wicked turn away from his way and live. Turn away, turn away from your evil ways; for why will you die, O house of Israel?

Say unto them, As I live, saith the Lord GOD, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways; for why will ye die, O house of Israel?

Say unto them, As I live, saith the Lord Jehovah, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live. Turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways; for why will ye die, O house of Israel?

Say unto them, I live -- an affirmation of the Lord Jehovah, I delight not in the death of the wicked, But -- in the turning of the wicked from his way, And he hath lived, Turn back, turn back, from your evil ways, Yea, why do ye die, O house of Israel?
I
Say to them, 'As surely as I live, declares the Sovereign LORD , I take no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but rather that they turn from their ways and live. Turn! Turn from your evil ways! Why will you die, O house of Israel?'

人子啊,你要对本族的子民说,义人的义,在他犯罪之日不能救他;至于恶人的恶,在他转离恶行之日也不能使他跌倒。义人在犯罪之日也不能因他的义存活。
和
人子啊,你要对本国的子民说:义人的义,在犯罪之日不能救他;至于恶人的恶,在他转离恶行之日也不能使他倾倒;义人在犯罪之日也不能因他的义存活。

人子啊!你要对你本国的人说:‘义人的义在他犯罪的日子,不能救他;恶人的恶在他离开恶行的日子,也不会绊倒他;义人在他犯罪的日子,也不能因他的义存活。’

人子,你要告诉你民族的子女:义人的正义在他犯罪之日不能救他;恶人的罪过在恶人悔改之日,也不会使他丧亡在他罪过中;义人在他犯罪之日,不能因着他的正义而生存。
吕
人子啊,你要对你本国的子民说:义人犯法时,他的义也不能援救他;恶人回转时,他的恶也不能使他因而跌倒;义人犯罪时,他也不能因他的义而活着。

人子啊,你要对本国的人民说:义人的义,在他犯罪之日不能救他;至于恶人的恶,…也不会使他倾倒;在他转离恶行之日义人…不能因它

וְאַתָּ֣ה בֶן־אָדָ֗ם אֱמֹ֤ר אֶל־בְּנֵֽי־עַמְּךָ֙ צִדְקַ֣ת הַצַּדִּ֗יק לֹ֤א תַצִּילֶ֨נּוּ֙ בְּיֹ֣ום פִּשְׁעֹ֔ו וְרִשְׁעַ֤תהָֽרָשָׁע֙ לֹֽא־יִכָּ֣שֶׁל בָּ֔הּ בְּיֹ֖ום שׁוּבֹ֣ו מֵֽרִשְׁעֹ֑ו וְצַדִּ֗יק לֹ֥א יוּכַ֛ל לִֽחְיֹ֥ות בָּ֖הּ בְּיֹ֥ום חֲטֹאתֹֽו׃
R
And you, son of man, say to the children of your people, The righteousness of the righteous will not deliver him on the day of his transgression, and the wickedness of the wicked will not stumble him on the day he turns away from his wickedness. The righteous cannot be kept alive just because of his righteousness on the day he sins.

Therefore, thou son of man, say unto the children of thy people, The righteousness of the righteous shall not deliver him in the day of his transgression: as for the wickedness of the wicked, he shall not fall thereby in the day that he turneth from his wickedness; neither shall the righteous be able to live for his righteousness in the day that he sinneth.

And thou, son of man, say unto the children of thy people, The righteousness of the righteous shall not deliver him in the day of his transgression; and as for the wickedness of the wicked, he shall not fall thereby in the day that he turneth from his wickedness; neither shall the righteous be able to live thereby in the day that he sinneth.

你要对他们这么说:主永恒主这么说:我指着永活的我来起誓;那在荒场中的定必倒毙于刀下;那在田野上的、我必交给野兽吃;那在山寨和洞里的定必遭瘟疫而死。

你要对他们这样说,主神如此说:我指着我的永生起誓,在荒场中的,必倒在刀下;在田野间的,必交给野兽吞吃;在堡垒和洞里的,必遭瘟疫而死。

כֹּֽה־תֹאמַ֨ר אֲלֵהֶ֜ם כֹּה־אָמַ֨ר אֲדֹנָ֣י יְהוִה֮ חַי־אָנִי֒ אִם־לֹ֞א אֲשֶׁ֤ר בֶּֽחֳרָבֹות֙ בַּחֶ֣רֶב יִפֹּ֔לוּוַֽאֲשֶׁר֙ עַל־פְּנֵ֣י הַשָּׂדֶ֔ה לַחַיָּ֥ה נְתַתִּ֖יו לְאָכְלֹ֑ו וַאֲשֶׁ֛ר בַּמְּצָדֹ֥ות וּבַמְּעָרֹ֖ות בַּדֶּ֥בֶר יָמֽוּתוּ׃

Thus will you say to them, Thus says the Lord Jehovah, As I live, surely those who are in the ruined places will fall by the sword, and he who is in the open field I will give to the beasts to be devoured, and those who are in the strongholds and in the caves will die of pestilence.

Say thou thus unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; As I live, surely they that are in the wastes shall fall by the sword, and him that is in the open field will I give to the beasts to be devoured, and they that be in the forts and in the caves shall die of the pestilence.

Say thou thus unto them, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: [As] I live, verily they that are in the waste places shall fall by the sword, and him that is in the open field will I give to the beasts to be devoured, and they that are in the strongholds and in the caves shall die of the pestilence.

Thus dost thou say unto them: Thus said the Lord Jehovah: I live -- do not they who are in the wastes by the sword fall? And they who are on the face of the field, To the beast I have given for food, And they who are in strongholds and in caves by pestilence die.
I
Say this to them: 'This is what the Sovereign LORD says: As surely as I live, those who are left in the ruins will fall by the sword, those out in the country I will give to the wild animals to be devoured, and those in strongholds and caves will die of a plague.

我必使这地荒凉旷废,她因自己力量而有的骄傲也必止息,以色列的山都必荒凉,无人经过。

我必使这地荒凉,令人惊骇;她因势力而有的骄傲,也必止息。以色列的山都必荒凉,无人经过。

וְנָתַתִּ֤י אֶת־הָאָ֨רֶץ֙ שְׁמָמָ֣ה וּמְשַׁמָּ֔ה וְנִשְׁבַּ֖ת גְּאֹ֣ון עֻזָּ֑הּ וְשָֽׁמְמ֛וּ הָרֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל מֵאֵ֥ין עֹובֵֽר׃
R
And I will make the land a desolation and a waste, and the pride of her strength will cease, and the mountains of Israel will be desolate without anyone passing through.

For I will lay the land most desolate, and the pomp of her strength shall cease; and the mountains of Israel shall be desolate, that none shall pass through.

And I will make the land a desolation and an astonishment, and the pride of her strength shall cease; and the mountains of Israel shall be desolated, so that none shall pass through.

And I have made the land a desolation and an astonishment, And ceased hath the excellency of its strength, And desolated have been mountains of Israel, Without any one passing through.
I
I will make the land a desolate waste, and her proud strength will come to an end, and the mountains of Israel will become desolate so that no one will cross them.

我因他们所行一切可憎的事,使这地荒凉旷废;那时,他们就知道我是耶和华。
和
我因他们所行一切可憎的事使地荒凉,令人惊骇。那时,他们就知道我是耶和华。”

我必因他们所行一切可憎恶的事,使这地非常荒凉,那时他们就知道我是耶和华。’

为了他们所行的丑恶,我使此地变为沙漠和荒野时,他们必承认我是上主。

我因他们所行一切可厌恶的事而使这地荒凉凄惨,那时他们就知道我乃是永恒主。

…那时,他们就知道我是雅威。”我…使地荒凉,令人惊骇;因他们所行一切可憎的事

וְיָדְע֖וּ כִּֽי־אֲנִ֣י יְהוָ֑ה בְּתִתִּ֤י אֶת־הָאָ֨רֶץ֙ שְׁמָמָ֣ה וּמְשַׁמָּ֔ה עַ֥ל כָּל־תֹּועֲבֹתָ֖ם אֲשֶׁ֥ר עָשֽׂוּ׃ ס
R
Then will they know that I am Jehovah, when I have made the land a desolation and a waste, because of all their abominations which they have committed.
K
Then shall they know that I am the LORD, when I have laid the land most desolate because of all their abominations which they have committed.
D
And they shall know that I [am] Jehovah, when I have made the land a desolation and an astonishment because of all their abominations which they have committed.
Y
And they have known that I am Jehovah, In My making the land a desolation and an astonishment, For all their abominations that they have done.
I
Then they will know that I am the LORD , when I have made the land a desolate waste because of all the detestable things they have done.'

至于你,人子啊,你本族的子民在墙垣旁边、在房屋门口谈论你,各人对弟兄彼此说,来吧,听听有什么话从耶和华而出。

“人子啊,你本国的子民在墙垣旁边、在房屋门口谈论你,弟兄对弟兄彼此说,来吧!听听有什么话从耶和华而出。

“人子啊!你本国的人在城墙旁边和各家的门口正在谈论你;他们彼此说:‘来吧!听听有什么话从耶和华那里出来。’
思
人子,你民族的子女在墙下及他们的门口,彼此谈论你说:来,我们去听听由上主那里传出了什么话?

“你呢、人子啊,你本国的子民在墙边、在房屋门口攻讦你,族弟兄对族弟兄彼此说:‘来,来听听有什么话语出于永恒主。’
直
“人子啊,你本国的子民谈论你。在墙垣旁边、在房屋门口.个人对个人,弟兄对弟兄彼此说:‘来吧!你们来听.有什么话从雅威而出。’

וְאַתָּ֣ה בֶן־אָדָ֔ם בְּנֵ֣י עַמְּךָ֗ הַנִּדְבָּרִ֤ים בְּךָ֙ אֵ֣צֶל הַקִּירֹ֔ות וּבְפִתְחֵ֖י הַבָּתִּ֑ים וְדִבֶּר־חַ֣דאֶת־אַחַ֗ד אִ֤ישׁ אֶת־אָחִיו֙ לֵאמֹ֔ר בֹּֽאוּ־נָ֣א וְשִׁמְע֔וּ מָ֣ה הַדָּבָ֔ר הַיֹּוצֵ֖א מֵאֵ֥ת יְהוָֽה׃

And as for you, son of man, the children of your people talk about you by the walls and in the entrances of the houses and speak to one another, each to his brother, saying, Come now, and hear what is the word that comes forth from Jehovah.

Also, thou son of man, the children of thy people still are talking against thee by the walls and in the doors of the houses, and speak one to another, every one to his brother, saying, Come, I pray you, and hear what is the word that cometh forth from the LORD.

And as for thee, son of man, the children of thy people keep talking of thee by the walls and in the doors of the houses, and speak one to another, every one to his brother, saying, Come, I pray you, and hear what is the word that cometh forth from Jehovah.

And thou, son of man, the sons of thy people who are speaking about thee, By the walls, and in openings of the houses, Have spoken one with another, each with his brother, Saying: Come in, I pray you, And hear what is the word that cometh out from Jehovah.
I
As for you, son of man, your countrymen are talking together about you by the walls and at the doors of the houses, saying to each other, 'Come and hear the message that has come from the LORD .'

他们来到你这里如同民来聚会,坐在你面前仿佛是我的民,他们听你的话却不去行;因为他们用口多显爱情,他们的心却追随财利。

他们便成群结队地来到你这里,像我的百姓般坐在你面前,听你的话,但不去实行;他们口头上说的是甜言蜜语,但他们心却在追求不义的利益。

他们来见你、如同人民之来;他们坐在你面前仿佛是我的人民;其实他们听你的话,却不去行;因为他们只是用口表示着爱,他们的心却追求着不义之财。

他们来到你这里如同百姓前来聚会,坐在你面前仿佛是我的民。他们听了你的话却不去行;因为他们的口多显爱情,心却追随财利。

וְיָבֹ֣ואוּ אֵ֠לֶיךָ כִּמְבֹוא־עָ֞ם וְיֵשְׁב֤וּ לְפָנֶ֨יךָ֙ עַמִּ֔י וְשָֽׁמְעוּ֙ אֶת־דְּבָרֶ֔יךָ וְאֹותָ֖ם לֹ֣א יַֽעֲשׂ֑וּכִּֽי־עֲגָבִ֤ים בְּפִיהֶם֙ הֵ֣מָּה עֹשִׂ֔ים אַחֲרֵ֥י בִצְעָ֖ם לִבָּ֥ם הֹלֵֽךְ׃

And they come to you just as people come, and they sit before you as My people, and they hear your words but do not do them; for with their mouth they show much love, but their heart goes after their gain.

And they come unto thee as the people cometh, and they sit before thee as my people, and they hear thy words, but they will not do them: for with their mouth they shew much love, but their heart goeth after their covetousness.

And they come unto thee as a people cometh, and they sit before thee [as] my people, and they hear thy words, but they do them not; for with their mouth they shew much love, [but] their heart goeth after their dishonest gain.

And they come in unto thee as the coming in of a people, And they sit before thee -- My people, And have heard thy words, and they do them not, For doting loves with their mouth they are making, After their dishonest gain their heart is going.
I
My people come to you, as they usually do, and sit before you to listen to your words, but they do not put them into practice. With their mouths they express devotion, but their hearts are greedy for unjust gain.

你对于他们,如同善于奏乐、声音幽雅之人所唱的情歌;他们听你的话却不去行。
和
他们看你如善于奏乐声音幽雅之人所唱的雅歌,他们听你的话却不去行。

在他们眼中,你不过是首情歌,唱得美妙,弹得悦耳,他们听了你的话,却不去行。
思
你对他们好像唱情歌的人,歌喉悦耳,弹奏美妙;他们喜欢听你说的话,却不去实行。

看哪,他们以你为善于作乐、出美丽声音唱爱情歌之人呢!但他们听你的话,却不去行。

他们看你如…所唱的情歌,善于奏乐、声音幽美之人他们听你的话却不去行。

וְהִנְּךָ֤ לָהֶם֙ כְּשִׁ֣יר עֲגָבִ֔ים יְפֵ֥ה קֹ֖ול וּמֵטִ֣ב נַגֵּ֑ן וְשָֽׁמְעוּ֙ אֶת־דְּבָרֶ֔יךָ וְעֹשִׂ֥ים אֵינָ֖ם אֹותָֽם׃
R
And indeed you are to them like a very lovely song of one with a pleasant voice, who can play an instrument well; for they hear your words but do not do them.

And, lo, thou art unto them as a very lovely song of one that hath a pleasant voice, and can play well on an instrument: for they hear thy words, but they do them not.
D
And behold, thou art unto them as a lovely song, a pleasant voice, and one that playeth well on an instrument; and they hear thy words, but they do them not.
Y
And lo, thou art to them as a singer of doting loves, A pleasant voice, and playing well on an instrument, And they have heard thy words, and they are not doing them.
I
Indeed, to them you are nothing more than one who sings love songs with a beautiful voice and plays an instrument well, for they hear your words but do not put them into practice.
恢
看哪,所说的快要临到;临到了,他们就知道在他们中间有了申言者。
和
看哪,所说的快要应验、应验了,他们就知道在他们中间有了先知。”
新
看哪!这事必定应验,到那时候,他们就知道在他们中间有先知了。”
思
当这事来时──看,已来了!──他们必承认在他们中有位先知。”
吕
所说的来到时〔看吧,就来到了!〕他们就知道在他们中间有了神言人。”
直
看哪,所说的快要应验;应验了,他们就知道在他们中间有了先知。”

וּבְבֹאָ֑הּ הִנֵּ֣ה בָאָ֔ה וְיָ֣דְע֔וּ כִּ֥י נָבִ֖יא הָיָ֥ה בְתֹוכָֽם׃ ס
R
And when this comes about — indeed it comes — then they will know that a prophet has been among them.
K
And when this cometh to pass, (lo, it will come,) then shall they know that a prophet hath been among them.
D
And when this cometh to pass (behold, it will come), then shall they know that a prophet hath been among them.
Y
And in its coming in -- lo, it hath come, And they have known that a prophet hath been in their midst!'
I
When all this comes true-and it surely will-then they will know that a prophet has been among them.
