If he walks in My statutes and keeps My ordinances to do truth — he is righteous; he shall surely live, declares the Lord Jehovah.

He oppresses the poor and needy. He commits robbery. He does not return what he took in pledge. He looks to the idols. He does detestable things.

放债取利,或向借贷的人多要;他能存活么?他必不能存活。他行了这一切可憎的事,必要死亡;他的罪必归到他身上。

Does not oppress anyone, does not keep the pledge and does not plunder, but gives his bread to the hungry and covers the naked with a garment,

Do I take pleasure in the death of the wicked, declares the Lord Jehovah, and not in his turning away from his ways that he may live?

Have I any pleasure at all that the wicked should die? saith the Lord GOD: and not that he should return from his ways, and live?

Have I any pleasure at all in the death of the wicked? saith the Lord Jehovah; is it not in his turning from his way, that he may live?

Do I at all desire the death of the wicked? An affirmation of the Lord Jehovah, Is it not in his turning back from his way -- And he hath lived?
I
Do I take any pleasure in the death of the wicked? declares the Sovereign LORD . Rather, am I not pleased when they turn from their ways and live?

But when a righteous man turns from his righteousness and practices iniquity and commits all the abominations that the wicked man commits, will he live? None of his righteousness that he has practiced shall be remembered. Because of his unfaithfulness in which he has acted unfaithfully and because of his sin which he has sinned, because of them, he shall die.

But when the righteous turneth away from his righteousness, and committeth iniquity, and doeth according to all the abominations that the wicked man doeth, shall he live? Yet you say, The way of the Lord is not fair. Hear now, O house of Israel! Is My way not fair? Is it not your ways that are not fair?

Yet ye say, The way of the Lord is not equal. Hear now, O house of Israel; Is not my way equal? are not your ways unequal?

And ye say, The way of the Lord is not equal. Hear then, house of Israel. Is not my way equal? are not your ways unequal?

And ye have said, Not pondered is the way of the Lord. Hear, I pray you, O house of Israel, My way -- is it not pondered? Are not your ways unpondered?

Yet you say, 'The way of the Lord is not just.' Hear, O house of Israel: Is my way unjust? Is it not your ways that are unjust?

若以色列家族还说:吾主的作法不公平。以色列家族!是我的作法不公平吗?岂不是你们的作法不公平?

以色列家还说:‘主所行的不公正。’以色列家啊,我所行的哪里是不公正呢?岂不是你们所行的不公正么?

以色列家还说:‘主的道不公平!’以色列家啊,我的道岂是不公平?你们的道才是不公平呢!”

וְאָֽמְרוּ֙ בֵּ֣ית יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל לֹ֥א יִתָּכֵ֖ן דֶּ֣רֶךְ אֲדֹנָ֑י הַדְּרָכַ֞י לֹ֤א יִתָּֽכְנּוּ֙ בֵּ֣ית יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל הֲלֹ֥א דַרְכֵיכֶ֖םלֹ֥א יִתָּכֵֽן׃

Yet the house of Israel says, The way of the Lord is not fair. Are My ways not fair, O house of Israel? Is it not your ways that are not fair?

Yet saith the house of Israel, The way of the Lord is not equal. O house of Israel, are not my ways equal? are not your ways unequal?

But the house of Israel say, The way of the Lord is not equal. O house of Israel, are not my ways equal? Is it not your ways that are unequal?

And the house of Israel have said, Not pondered is the way of the Lord, My ways -- are they not pondered? O house of Israel -- are not your ways unpondered?
I
Yet the house of Israel says, 'The way of the Lord is not just.' Are my ways unjust, O house of Israel? Is it not your ways that are unjust?

主耶和华说,所以以色列家啊,我必按你们各人的行径审判你们。你们当悔改转离所行的一切过犯,免得罪孽成为你们的绊脚石。
和
所以主耶和华说:“以色列家啊,我必按你们各人所行的审判你们。你们当回头离开所犯的一切罪过,这样,罪孽必不使你们败亡。
新
“因此,以色列家啊,我必照着你们各人所行的审判你们。你们回转吧!离开你们的一切罪过吧!免得罪孽成为你们的绊脚石。这是主耶和华的宣告。
思
以色列家族!我要照各人的行为裁判你们──吾主上主的断语──你们应回心转意,离开你们的一切罪恶,避免它们再做你们犯罪的绊脚石。
吕
所以主永恒主发神谕说:以色列家啊,我要判罚你们,各照各人所行的。回转吧!转离你们一切的罪过吧!免得罪过成了你们陷于罪罚中的因由。

所以…我必按你们各人所行的审判你们。…“以色列家啊,主神说:你们当回头离开所犯的一切罪过,这样,罪孽就不致成为你们的绊脚石。

לָכֵן֩ אִ֨ישׁ כִּדְרָכָ֜יו אֶשְׁפֹּ֤ט אֶתְכֶם֙ בֵּ֣ית יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל נְאֻ֖ם אֲדֹנָ֣י יְהוִ֑ה שׁ֤וּבוּ וְהָשִׁ֨יבוּ֙מִכָּל־פִּשְׁעֵיכֶ֔ם וְלֹֽא־יִהְיֶ֥ה לָכֶ֛ם לְמִכְשֹׁ֖ול עָוֹֽן׃

Therefore I will judge you, O house of Israel, each according to his ways, declares the Lord Jehovah. Repent, and turn away from all your transgressions so that iniquity will not become a stumbling block to you.

Therefore I will judge you, O house of Israel, every one according to his ways, saith the Lord GOD. Repent, and turn yourselves from all your transgressions; so iniquity shall not be your ruin.

Therefore, each according to his ways I judge you, O house of Israel? An affirmation of the Lord Jehovah, Turn ye back, yea, turn yourselves back, From all your transgressions, And iniquity is not to you for a stumbling-block,

Therefore, O house of Israel, I will judge you, each one according to his ways, declares the Sovereign LORD . Repent! Turn away from all your offenses; then sin will not be your downfall.

你们要将所行的一切过犯从你们身上尽行抛弃,使自己得一个新心和新灵;以色列家啊,你们何必死亡呢?

你们要将所犯的一切罪过尽行抛弃,自作一个新心和新灵。以色列家啊,你们何必死亡呢?

你们要把你们所犯的一切罪过弃掉,为自己造一个新的心和新的灵。以色列家啊,你们为什么要灭亡呢?

由你们身上抛弃一切得罪我的恶行吧!你们应改造一个新心,一种新的精神!以色列家族,为何你们偏要丧亡?

你们将所犯得罪了我的一切罪过尽行抛弃吧!为自己作成个新的心新的灵吧!何必死亡呢,以色列家啊?

הַשְׁלִ֣יכוּ מֵעֲלֵיכֶ֗ם אֶת־כָּל־פִּשְׁעֵיכֶם֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר פְּשַׁעְתֶּ֣ם בָּ֔ם וַעֲשׂ֥וּ לָכֶ֛ם לֵ֥ב חָדָ֖שׁ וְר֣וּחַחֲדָשָׁ֑ה וְלָ֥מָּה תָמֻ֖תוּ בֵּ֥ית יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃

Cast away from you all your transgressions by which you have transgressed, and get yourselves a new heart and a new spirit; for why will you die, O house of Israel?

主耶和华说,我不喜悦那死人之死,所以你们当回头而存活。

“我不喜悦任何人灭亡,所以你们要回转,得以存活。这是主耶和华的宣告。”

因为我不喜欢任何人丧亡──吾主上主的断语──你们回心转意吧!你们必得生存!

因为连垂死之人之死亡我也不喜欢呢:这是主永恒主发神谕说的:所以你们要回转以得活着。”

…我并不喜欢死人之死,主神说:所以你们当回头而存活。”

For I take no pleasure in the death of him who dies, declares the Lord Jehovah; therefore turn and live.
