Why have I seen it? / They are dismayed; / They are turning backward; / And their mighty men are crushed and flee in hasty flight, / And they do not look back; terror is on every side, / Declares Jehovah.

Wherefore have I seen them dismayed and turned away back? and their mighty ones are beaten down, and are fled apace, and look not back: for fear was round about, saith the LORD.

What do I see? They are terrified, they are retreating, their warriors are defeated. They flee in haste without looking back, and there is terror on every side," declares the Lord .

“但你呢、我的仆人雅各啊，你不要惧怕！以色列啊，你不要惊慌！因为你看吧，我必从远方拯救你，从你被掳之地拯救你的后裔。雅各必返回，平平静静，安安逸逸，无人使他惊吓。

וְ֠אַתָּה אַל־תִּירָ֞א עַבְדִּ֤י יַֽעֲקֹב֙ וְאַל־תֵּחַ֣ת יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל כִּ֠י הִנְנִ֤י מֹושִֽׁעֲךָ֙ מֵֽרָחֹ֔וק וְאֶֽת־זַרְעֲךָ֖מֵאֶ֣רֶץ שִׁבְיָ֑ם וְשָׁ֧ב יַעֲקֹ֛וב וְשָׁקַ֥ט וְשַׁאֲנַ֖ן וְאֵ֥ין מַחֲרִֽיד׃ ס

But as for you, O Jacob My servant, do not fear; / And do not be dismayed, O Israel. / For indeed I will save you from afar / And your seed from the land of their captivity; / And Jacob will return and be undisturbed / And at ease, and no one will frighten him.

But fear not thou, O my servant Jacob, and be not dismayed, O Israel: for, behold, I will save thee from afar off, and thy seed from the land of their captivity; and Jacob shall return, and be in rest and at ease, and none shall make him afraid.

Do not fear, O Jacob my servant; do not be dismayed, O Israel. I will surely save you out of a distant place, your descendants from the land of their exile. Jacob will again have peace and security, and no one will make him afraid.

我的仆人雅各啊，不要惧怕；因我与你同在；我要将我所赶你到的那些国灭绝净尽；却不将你灭绝净尽，倒要适度管教你，绝不能不罚你；这是耶和华说的。
和
我的仆人雅各啊，不要惧怕！因我与你同在。我要将我所赶你到的那些国灭绝净尽，却不将你灭绝净尽，倒要从宽惩治你，万不能不罚你（“不罚你”或作“以你为无罪”）。这是耶和华说的。”
新
我的仆人雅各啊！你不要惧怕。因为我与你同在；我要消灭我赶逐你去的列国。却必不消灭你。我要按公正惩治你，决不能免你受罚。”这是耶和华的宣告。
思
雅各伯，我的仆人!你不用害怕──上主的断语──有我与你同在；诚然，对我使你流徙所至的各民族，我要加以毁灭；但是你，我必不毁灭，只依照正义惩罚你，不让你全然免罚。

我的仆人雅各啊，你、不要惧怕！永恒主发神谕说：因为是我与你同在，因为我必将我所放逐你到的列国尽行毁灭；你呢、我却不你尽行毁灭；我要合乎常度地惩罚你，却不能让你免受刑罚。”

As for you, O Jacob My servant, do not fear, declares Jehovah, / For I am with you; / For I will make a full end of all the nations / To which I have driven you; / Yet I will not make a full end of you, / But will correct you in measure / And will by no means leave you unpunished.

Thou, thou dost not fear, My servant Jacob, An affirmation of Jehovah -- for with thee I am, For I make an end of all the nations Whither I have driven thee, And of thee I do not make an end, And I have reproved thee in judgment, And do not entirely acquit thee!'
I
Do not fear, O Jacob my servant, for I am with you," declares the Lord . "Though I completely destroy all the nations among which I scatter you, I will not completely destroy you. I will discipline you but only with justice; I will not let you go entirely unpunished."
