祸哉,那些下埃及求帮助的;他们仗赖马匹,倚靠众多的车辆,并倚靠极其强壮的马兵,却不仰望以色列的圣者,也不求问耶和华!

Woe to those who go down to Egypt for help; / They rely on horses / And trust in chariots because they are many / And in horsemen because they are very strong; / But they do not look to the Holy One of Israel, / Nor seek Jehovah!

Woe to those who go down to Egypt for help, who rely on horses, who trust in the multitude of their chariots and in the great strength of their horsemen, but do not look to the Holy One of Israel, or seek help from the Lord .

其实耶和华也有智慧;祂必降灾祸,并不收回自己的话,却要兴起攻击那作恶之家,又攻击那帮助作孽之人的。

But He also is wise and will bring ill upon them; / And He does not turn back His words, / But will rise up against the house of evildoers / And against the help of the workers of iniquity.

Yet he also is wise, and will bring evil, and will not call back his words: but will arise against the house of the evildoers, and against the help of them that work iniquity.

因为上主曾这样对我说:“犹如壮狮或幼狮为了猎物而怒吼,即使召集许多牧人攻击它,它并不因他们的叫嚣而畏惧,也不因他们的喧嚷而惊慌;同样,万军的上主必要降下,为熙雍和她的丘岭作战。

因为永恒主对我这样说:狮子和少壮狮子怎样咆哮而护着所抓撕的,就使你喊叫满山的牧人来攻击它,它也不因他们的声音而惊慌,不因他们的喊喝而屈伏;照样,万军之永恒主也必怎样下来,覆庇在(传统加:攻击)锡安的山和冈陵上。

For Jehovah has spoken thus to me, / As the lion or the lion cub / Roars over its prey / And because of it a crowd of shepherds / Is called out, / But it is not frightened by their voice, / Nor overcome by their noise; / So Jehovah of hosts will descend / To wage war on Mount Zion and on its hill.

For thus hath the LORD spoken unto me, Like as the lion and the young lion roaring on his prey, when a multitude of shepherds is called forth against him, he will not be afraid of their voice, nor abase himself for the noise of them: so shall the LORD of hosts come down to fight for mount Zion, and for the hill thereof.

For thus hath Jehovah said unto me: Like as the lion and the young lion growling over his prey, when a multitude of shepherds is called forth against him, is not afraid of their voice, nor giveth way before the multitude of them; so will Jehovah of hosts come down to war upon mount Zion, and on the hill thereof.

For thus said Jehovah unto me: 'As growl doth the lion and the young lion over his prey, Called against whom is a multitude of shepherds, From their voice he is not affrighted, And from their noise he is not humbled; So come down doth Jehovah of Hosts To war on mount Zion, and on her height.

This is what the Lord says to me: "As a lion growls, a great lion over his prey- and though a whole band of shepherds is called together against him, he is not frightened by their shouts or disturbed by their clamor- so the Lord Almighty will come down to do battle on Mount Zion and on its heights.

雀鸟怎样扇翅覆雏,万军之耶和华也要照样保护耶路撒冷;祂必保护且拯救、逾越且保全。

雀鸟怎样扇翅覆雏,万军之耶和华也要照样保护耶路撒冷,他必保护拯救,要越门保守。

כְּצִפֳּרִ֣ים עָפֹ֔ות כֵּ֗ן יָגֵ֛ן יְהוָ֥ה צְבָאֹ֖ות עַל־יְרֽוּשָׁלִָ֑ם גָּנֹ֥ון וְהִצִּ֖יל פָּסֹ֥חַ וְהִמְלִֽיט׃

Like flying birds / So Jehovah of hosts will protect Jerusalem; / He will protect and deliver it; / He will pass over and rescue it.

As birds flying, so will the LORD of hosts defend Jerusalem; defending also he will deliver it; and passing over he will preserve it.

As birds with outstretched wings, so will Jehovah of hosts cover Jerusalem; covering, he will also deliver, passing over, he will rescue [it].

As birds flying, so doth Jehovah of Hosts Cover over Jerusalem, covering and delivering, Passing over, and causing to escape.'
I
Like birds hovering overhead, the Lord Almighty will shield Jerusalem; he will shield it and deliver it, he will 'pass over' it and will rescue it."

到那日,各人必将自己的银偶像和金偶像,就是你们亲手为自己所造的罪,都抛弃了。

For in that day each man will cast away his idols of silver and his idols of gold, which your hands have made for you as a sin.

Assyria will fall by a sword that is not of man; a sword, not of mortals, will devour them. They will flee before the sword and their young men will be put to forced labor.

And his rock will pass away in terror, / And his princes will be dismayed by the standard, / Declares Jehovah, whose fire is in Zion / And whose furnace is in Jerusalem.

And he shall pass over to his strong hold for fear, and his princes shall be afraid of the ensign, saith the LORD, whose fire is in Zion, and his furnace in Jerusalem.

and for fear, he shall pass over to his rock, and his princes shall be afraid of the banner, saith Jehovah, whose fire is in Zion, and his furnace in Jerusalem.

And to his rock from fear he passeth on, And affrighted by the ensign have been his princes -- an affirmation of Jehovah, Who hath a light in Zion, And who hath a furnace in Jerusalem!
I
Their stronghold will fall because of terror; at sight of the battle standard their commanders will panic," declares the Lord , whose fire is in Zion, whose furnace is in Jerusalem.
