אָ֖ז אָמַ֣ר שְׁלֹמֹ֑ה יְהוָ֣ה אָמַ֔ר לִשְׁכֹּ֖ון בָּעֲרָפֶֽל׃

Then Solomon said, Jehovah has said that He would dwell in deep darkness.

Then said Solomon, The LORD hath said that he would dwell in the thick darkness.

Then said Solomon: Jehovah said that he would dwell in the thick darkness.

Then said Solomon, 'Jehovah said -- to dwell in thick darkness,

Then Solomon said, "The Lord has said that he would dwell in a dark cloud;

但我已经为你建造高大的殿宇，作你永远的居所。
和
但我已经建造殿宇作你的居所，为你永远的住处。”

我已经为你建造了巍峨的殿宇，作你永远居住的地方。”

我却为你建筑了一个居所，作为你永久的住处。”

וַֽאֲנִ֛י בָּנִ֥יתִי בֵית־זְבֻ֖ל לָ֑ךְ וּמָכֹ֥ון לְשִׁבְתְּךָ֖ עֹולָמִֽים׃
R
Yet I have built You a lofty house, even a place for You to dwell in forever.

But I have built an house of habitation for thee, and a place for thy dwelling for ever.
D
But I have built a house of habitation for thee, even a settled place for thee to abide in for ever.
Y
and I -- I have built a house of habitation for Thee, and a fixed place for Thy dwelling to the ages.'
I
I have built a magnificent temple for you, a place for you to dwell forever."

And the king turned about and blessed all the congregation of Israel while all the congregation of Israel stood.

And the king turned his face, and blessed the whole congregation of Israel: and all the congregation of Israel stood.

וַיֹּ֗אמֶר בָּר֤וּךְ יְהוָה֙ אֱלֹהֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל אֲשֶׁר֙ דִּבֶּ֣ר בְּפִ֔יו אֵ֖ת דָּוִ֣יד אָבִ֑י וּבְיָדָ֥יו מִלֵּ֖א לֵאמֹֽר׃

And he said, Blessed be Jehovah the God of Israel, who spoke with His mouth to David my father and fulfilled it with His hands, saying,

And he said, Blessed be the LORD God of Israel, who hath with his hands fulfilled that which he spake with his mouth to my father David, saying,

And he said: Blessed be Jehovah the God of Israel, who spoke with his mouth unto David my father, and hath with his hands fulfilled it, saying,

and he saith, 'Blessed is Jehovah, God of Israel, who hath spoken with His mouth with David my father, and with His hands hath fulfilled it, saying:

Then he said: "Praise be to the Lord , the God of Israel, who with his hands has fulfilled what he promised with his mouth to my father David. For he said,

自从我领我民出埃及地的日子以来，我未曾在以色列众支派中选择一城建造殿宇，使我的名可以立在那里，也未曾拣选一人作我民以色列的领袖；
和
他说：‘自从我领我民出埃及地以来，我未曾在以色列众支派中选择一城建造殿宇为我名的居所；也未曾拣选一人作我民以色列的君。

R
Since the day when I brought My people out from the land of Egypt, I have not chosen a city out of all the tribes of Israel to build a house for My name that it might be there; nor did I choose a man to be a ruler over My people Israel;

Since the day that I brought forth my people out of the land of Egypt I chose no city among all the tribes of Israel to build an house in, that my name might be there; neither chose I any man to be a ruler over my people Israel:

Since the day that I brought forth my people out of the land of Egypt I chose no city out of all the tribes of Israel to build a house in, that my name might be there; neither chose I any man to be prince over my people Israel:

'From the day that I brought out My people from the land of Egypt, I have not fixed on a city out of any of the tribes of Israel to build a house for my name being there, and I have not fixed on a man to be leader over My people Israel;
I
'Since the day I brought my people out of Egypt, I have not chosen a city in any tribe of Israel to have a temple built for my Name to be there, nor have I chosen anyone to be the leader over my people Israel.

但选择耶路撒冷，使我的名可以立在那里，又拣选大卫治理我民以色列。
和
但选择耶路撒冷为我名的居所，又拣选大卫治理我民以色列。’”

我却拣选了耶路撒冷，使我的名留在那里；也拣选了大卫，统治我的子民以色列。’

וָאֶבְחַר֙ בִּיר֣וּשָׁלִַ֔ם לִהְיֹ֥ות שְׁמִ֖י שָׁ֑ם וָאֶבְחַ֣ר בְּדָוִ֔יד לִהְיֹ֖ות עַל־עַמִּ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃
R
But I have chosen Jerusalem that My name might be there, and I have chosen David to be over My people Israel.

But I have chosen Jerusalem, that my name might be there; and have chosen David to be over my people Israel.

and I fix on Jerusalem for My name being there, and I fix on David to be over My people Israel.

我父亲大卫心中立意，要为耶和华以色列神的名建殿；

所罗门说：“我父大卫曾立意要为耶和华以色列神的名建殿。

我的父亲大卫有心要为耶和华以色列的神的名建造殿宇。

我父亲达味原有意为上主以色列天主的名建造一座殿，

我父亲大大卫心里原有意思要为永恒主以色列之上帝的名建殿。

我父大卫的心是想．要为雅威──以色列神的名建殿。

וַיְהִ֕י עִם־לְבַ֖ב דָּוִ֣יד אָבִ֑י לִבְנֹ֣ות בַּ֔יִת לְשֵׁ֥ם יְהוָ֖ה אֱלֹהֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃

And it was on David my father's heart to build a house for the name of Jehovah the God of Israel;

Now it was in the heart of David my father to build an house for the name of the LORD God of Israel.

'And it is with the heart of David my father to build a house for the name of Jehovah God of Israel,

耶和华却对我父亲大卫说，你心中立意要为我的名建殿，这心意甚好；

וַיֹּ֤אמֶר יְהוָה֙ אֶל־דָּוִ֣יד אָבִ֔י יַ֗עַן אֲשֶׁ֤ר הָיָה֙ עִם־לְבָ֣בְךָ֔ לִבְנֹ֥ות בַּ֖יִת לִשְׁמִ֑י הֱֽטִיבֹ֔ותָ כִּ֥י הָיָ֖העִם־לְבָבֶֽךָ׃
R
But Jehovah said to David my father, Because it was on your heart to build a house for My name, you have done well that it was on your heart;

But the LORD said to David my father, Forasmuch as it was in thine heart to build an house for my name, thou didst well in that it was in thine heart:
D
But Jehovah said to David my father, Whereas it was in thy heart to build a house unto my name, thou didst well that it was in thy heart;

and Jehovah saith unto David my father, Because that it hath been with thy heart to build a house for My name, thou hast done well that it hath been with thy heart,
I
But the Lord said to my father David, 'Because it was in your heart to build a temple for my Name, you did well to have this in your heart.

只是你不可建殿，惟你腰中所出的儿子必为我的名建殿。
和
只是你不可建殿；惟你所生的儿子必为我名建殿。’
新
不过不是由你建造殿宇，而是你的儿子，你亲生的儿子，他必为我的名建殿。’
思
但不是你要建造这殿，而是你亲生的儿子，他要为我的名建造这殿。
吕
但不是你可以建殿的，乃是你儿子、从你自己腰肾中生出来的、他才可以为我的名建殿。’
直
只是你不可建殿，惟从你的腰所生的儿子，他必为我的名建殿。’

רַ֣ק אַתָּ֔ה לֹ֥א תִבְנֶ֖ה הַבָּ֑יִת כִּ֤י בִנְךָ֙ הַיֹּוצֵ֣א מֵֽחֲלָצֶ֔יךָ הֽוּא־יִבְנֶ֥ה הַבַּ֖יִת לִשְׁמִֽי׃
R
However you will not build the house, but your son, who will come forth from your loins, he will build the house for My name.
K
Notwithstanding thou shalt not build the house; but thy son which shall come forth out of thy loins, he shall build the house for my name.

nevertheless thou shalt not build the house; but thy son that shall come forth out of thy loins, he shall build the house unto my name.
Y
but thou dost not build the house, for thy son who cometh forth out from thy loins, he doth build the house for My name.
I
Nevertheless, you are not the one to build the temple, but your son, who is your own flesh and blood-he is the one who will build the temple for my Name.'

现在耶和华履行了祂所说的话，因我已经起来接续我父亲大卫坐以色列的国位，正如耶和华所应许的，我又为耶和华以色列神的名建造了这殿。
和
“现在耶和华成就了他所应许的话，使我接续我父大卫坐以色列的国位，是照耶和华所说的，又为耶和华以色列神的名建造了殿。

现在耶和华实现了他的应许，我已经起来接续我的父亲大卫，坐上了以色列的王位，就像耶和华所说的；我为耶和华以色列的神的名建造了这殿。

现在上主实现了他所说的话，使我来继承了我父亲达味，坐上了以色列的宝座，正如上主所预许的；我也为上主以色列天主的名建造了这座殿，

现在永恒主已经实行了他所说过的话；我已经起来接替了我父亲大卫、坐以色列的王位，照永恒主所说过的，我己经为了永恒主以色列之上帝的名建了殿了。

现在雅威成就了祂所说的祂的话，我已兴起接续我父大卫．坐以色列的王位，正如雅威所说的，我又为雅威──以色列神的名建造了殿。

וַיָּ֣קֶם יְהוָ֔ה אֶת־דְּבָרֹ֖ו אֲשֶׁ֣ר דִּבֵּ֑ר וָאָק֡וּם תַּחַת֩ דָּוִ֨יד אָבִ֜י וָאֵשֵׁ֣ב׀ עַל־כִּסֵּ֣א יִשְׂרָאֵ֗לכַּאֲשֶׁר֙ דִּבֶּ֣ר יְהוָ֔ה וָאֶבְנֶ֣ה הַבַּ֔יִת לְשֵׁ֥ם יְהוָ֖ה אֱלֹהֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃
R
And Jehovah has established His word which He spoke; for I have risen up in the place of David my father, and I sit upon the throne of Israel, as Jehovah promised, and I have built the house for the name of Jehovah the God of Israel.

The LORD therefore hath performed his word that he hath spoken: for I am risen up in the room of David my father, and am set on the throne of Israel, as the LORD promised, and have built the house for the name of the LORD God of Israel.

And Jehovah has performed his word which he spoke; and I am risen up in the room of David my father, and sit on the throne of Israel, as Jehovah promised, and I have built the house unto the name of Jehovah the God of Israel.

'And Jehovah doth establish His word that He spake, and I rise up in the stead of David my father, and sit on the throne of Israel, as Jehovah spake, and I build the house for the name of Jehovah, God of Israel,
I
The Lord has kept the promise he made. I have succeeded David my father and now I sit on the throne of Israel, just as the Lord promised, and I have built the temple for the Name of the Lord , the God of Israel.

我将约柜安置在那里，柜内有耶和华的约，就是祂与以色列人所立的。

R
And there I have set the Ark, in which is the covenant of Jehovah, which He made with the children of Israel.

And in it have I put the ark, wherein is the covenant of the LORD, that he made with the children of Israel.

And in it have I put the ark, wherein is the covenant of Jehovah, which he made with the children of Israel.

and I place there the ark, where is the covenant of Jehovah that He made with the sons of Israel.'

There I have placed the ark, in which is the covenant of the Lord that he made with the people of Israel."

Then he stood before the altar of Jehovah in front of all the congregation of Israel and spread out his hands.

And he stood before the altar of the LORD in the presence of all the congregation of Israel, and spread forth his hands:

And he stood before the altar of Jehovah in the presence of the whole congregation of Israel, and spread forth his hands.

כִּֽי־עָשָׂ֨ה שְׁלֹמֹ֜ה כִּיֹּ֣ור נְחֹ֗שֶׁת וַֽיִּתְּנֵהוּ֮ בְּתֹ֣וךְ הָעֲזָרָה֒ חָמֵ֨שׁ אַמֹּ֜ות אָרְכֹּ֗ו וְחָמֵ֤שׁ אַמֹּות֙רָחְבֹּ֔ו וְאַמֹּ֥ות שָׁלֹ֖ושׁ קֹומָתֹ֑ו וַיַּעֲמֹ֣ד עָלָ֗יו וַיִּבְרַ֤ךְ עַל־בִּרְכָּיו֙ נֶ֚גֶד כָּל־קְהַ֣ל יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל וַיִּפְרֹ֥שׂכַּפָּ֖יו הַשָּׁמָֽיְמָה׃
R
Now Solomon had made a bronze platform, five cubits long and five cubits wide and three cubits high and had put it in the midst of the court; and he stood on it. Then he knelt on his knees in front of all the congregation of Israel and spread out his hands toward the heavens.

For Solomon had made a brasen scaffold, of five cubits long, and five cubits broad, and three cubits high, and had set it in the midst of the court: and upon it he stood, and kneeled down upon his knees before all the congregation of Israel, and spread forth his hands toward heaven,

for Solomon hath made a scaffold of brass, and putteth it in the midst of the court, five cubits its length, and five cubits its breadth, and three cubits its height, and he standeth upon it, and kneeleth on his knees over-against all the assembly of Israel, and spreadeth forth his hands towards the heavens --

Now he had made a bronze platform, five cubits long, five cubits wide and three cubits high, and had placed it in the center of the outer court. He stood on the platform and then knelt down before the whole assembly of Israel and spread out his hands toward heaven.

说，耶和华以色列的神啊，天上地上没有神可比你的；你向那全心行在你面前的仆人守约并施慈爱；
和
说：“耶和华以色列的神啊，天上地下没有神可比你的。你向那尽心行在你面前的仆人守约施慈爱；

说：“耶和华以色列的神啊，天上地下没有神可以和你相比的，你向那些一心行在你面前的仆人，常是守约施慈爱的；
思
说：“上主，以色列的天主！上天下地，没一个神可与你相比。你对那些一心在你面前行走的仆人，常是遵守信约，表示慈爱。
吕
说：“永恒主以色列的上帝啊，天上地上没有神可以比得上你：你对你仆人全心在你面前而行的人、你总是守约而施坚爱的；
直
说：“雅威──以色列的神啊，天上地下没有神明可与祢相比！祢向…祢的仆人守约施慈爱，那用他全部的心行在祢面前的
原
וַיֹּאמַ֗ר יְהוָ֞ה אֱלֹהֵ֤י יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ אֵין־כָּמֹ֣וךָ אֱלֹהִ֔ים בַּשָּׁמַ֖יִם וּבָאָ֑רֶץ שֹׁמֵ֤ר הַבְּרִית֙ וְֽהַחֶ֔סֶדלַעֲבָדֶ֕יךָ הַהֹלְכִ֥ים לְפָנֶ֖יךָ בְּכָל־לִבָּֽם׃
R
And he said, O Jehovah, God of Israel, there is no god like You, in heaven or on earth, who keeps covenant and lovingkindness with Your servants who walk before You with all their heart;
K
And said, O LORD God of Israel, there is no God like thee in the heaven, nor in the earth; which keepest covenant, and shewest mercy unto thy servants, that walk before thee with all their hearts:
D
and said, Jehovah, God of Israel! there is no God like thee, in the heavens or on the earth, who keepest covenant and mercy with thy servants that walk before thee with all their heart;
Y
and saith, 'O Jehovah God of Israel, there is not like Thee a god in the heavens and in the earth, keeping the covenant and the kindness for Thy servants who are walking before Thee with all their heart;
I
He said: "O Lord , God of Israel, there is no God like you in heaven or on earth-you who keep your covenant of love with your servants who continue wholeheartedly in your way.

你守住了你向你仆人我父亲大卫所应许的话；你亲口说过，今日果然亲手成就了。
和
向你仆人我父大卫所应许的话，现在应验了。你亲口应许，亲手成就，正如今日一样。

你对你的仆人我父亲大卫所应许的，你都遵守了，你亲口应许，也亲手成全，就像今日一样。
思
你对你的仆人，我父亲达味所应许的，你都履行了；你亲口应许的，你也亲手成就了，正如今天一样。

你对你仆人我父亲大卫守了你对他说过的话：你亲口说过，也亲手作成，就如今日一样。

You who have kept with Your servant David my father that which You have promised him; indeed You have spoken with Your mouth and have fulfilled with Your hand this day.

And now, O Jehovah, God of Israel, keep with Your servant David my father that which You promised him, saying, There shall not fail you a man in My sight to sit upon the throne of Israel, if only your children keep their way by walking in My law as you have walked before Me.

Now therefore, O LORD God of Israel, keep with thy servant David my father that which thou hast promised him, saying, There shall not fail thee a man in my sight to sit upon the throne of Israel; yet so that thy children take heed to their way to walk in my law, as thou hast walked before me.

But will God indeed dwell with man on the earth? Behold, the heavens and the heaven of heavens are not able to contain You, how much less this house which I have built.

愿你的眼目昼夜看顾这殿，看顾你所说，要立你名的地方；求你垂听仆人向此处所发的祷告。

That Your eyes may be open toward this house day and night, toward the place of which You have said that You would put Your name there, to listen to the prayer which Your servant will pray toward this place.

If a man sins against his neighbor and is made to take an oath, and he comes and takes an oath before Your altar in this house;

If a man have sinned against his neighbour, and an oath be laid upon him to adjure him, and the oath come before thine altar in this house;

When a man wrongs his neighbor and is required to take an oath and he comes and swears the oath before your altar in this temple,

Then hear from the heavens and act and judge Your servants, repaying the wicked by bringing his way on his head and justifying the righteous by giving to him according to his righteousness.

And if Your people Israel are defeated before an enemy because they have sinned against You, and they turn and confess Your name and pray and make supplication before You in this house;

And if thy people Israel be put to the worse before the enemy, because they have sinned against thee; and shall return and confess thy name, and pray and make supplication before thee in this house;

'And if Thy people Israel is smitten before an enemy, because they sin against Thee, and they have turned back and confessed Thy name, and prayed and made supplication before Thee in this house --

When your people Israel have been defeated by an enemy because they have sinned against you and when they turn back and confess your name, praying and making supplication before you in this temple,

Then hear in the heavens and forgive the sin of Your servants and of Your people Israel; indeed teach them the good way in which they should walk, and bring rain upon Your land, which You have given to Your people for an inheritance.

And also concerning the foreigner, who is not of Your people Israel but comes from a distant country for the sake of Your great name and Your strong hand and Your outstretched arm, when they come and pray toward this house;

Moreover concerning the stranger, which is not of thy people Israel, but is come from a far country for thy great name's sake, and thy mighty hand, and thy stretched out arm; if they come and pray in this house;

Then hear from the heavens, from Your dwelling place, and act according to all that the foreigner calls upon You for, that all the peoples of the earth may know Your name and that they may fear You, as do Your people Israel, and that they may know that this house which I have built is called by Your name.

If Your people go out to battle against their enemies by the way which You have sent them, and they pray to You toward this city which You have chosen and the house which I have built for Your name;

If they have sinned against You (for there is no man who does not sin) and You are angry with them and deliver them up to the enemy, so that they are carried away captive unto a land, far away or nearby;

But if they take it to heart in the land where they were carried captive, and they repent and make supplication to You in the land of their captivity, saying, We have sinned and committed iniquity and acted wickedly;

Yet if they bethink themselves in the land whither they are carried captive, and turn and pray unto thee in the land of their captivity, saying, We have sinned, we have done amiss, and have dealt wickedly;

and if they shall take it to heart in the land whither they were carried captive, and repent, and make supplication unto thee in the land of their captivity, saying, We have sinned, we have done iniquity and have dealt perversely;

and they have turned it back unto their heart in the land whither they have been taken captive, and have turned back, and made supplication unto Thee in the land of their captivity, saying, We have sinned, we have done perversely, and have done wickedly;

and if they have a change of heart in the land where they are held captive, and repent and plead with you in the land of their captivity and say, 'We have sinned, we have done wrong and acted wickedly';

וְשָׁ֣בוּ אֵלֶ֗יךָ בְּכָל־לִבָּם֙ וּבְכָל־נַפְשָׁ֔ם בְּאֶ֥רֶץ שִׁבְיָ֖ם אֲשֶׁר־שָׁב֣וּ אֹתָ֑ם וְהִֽתְפַּֽלְל֗וּ דֶּ֤רֶךְאַרְצָם֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר נָתַ֣תָּה לַאֲבֹותָ֔ם וְהָעִיר֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר בָּחַ֔רְתָּ וְלַבַּ֖יִת אֲשֶׁר־בָּנִ֥יתִי לִשְׁמֶֽךָ׃

And if they return to You with all their heart and with all their soul in the land of their captivity, where they have been carried captive, and they pray toward their land that You have given to their fathers, and the city that You have chosen, and to the house that I have built for Your name;
