你若买希伯来人作奴仆,他要服事你六年,第七年他可以自由,白白地出去。

If his master gives him a wife and she bears him sons or daughters, the wife and her children shall be her master's, and he shall go out by himself.

If his master have given him a wife, and she have born him sons or daughters; the wife and her children shall be her master's, and he shall go out by himself.

If his master have given him a wife, and she have borne him sons or daughters, the wife and her children shall be her master's, and he shall go out alone.

Then his master shall bring him to God and shall bring him to the door or to the doorpost, and his master shall bore his ear through with an awl; and he shall serve him forever.

And if a man sells his daughter as a female servant, she shall not go out as the male servants do.

And if a man sell his daughter to be a maidservant, she shall not go out as the menservants do.

And if a man shall sell his daughter as a handmaid, she shall not go out as the bondmen go out.

'And when a man selleth his daughter for a handmaid, she doth not go out according to the going out of the men-servants;

If a man sells his daughter as a servant, she is not to go free as menservants do.

R
If she displeases her master, who has designated her for himself, then he shall let her be redeemed; he has no right to sell her to a foreign people, because he has dealt with her unfaithfully.

If she please not her master, who hath betrothed her to himself, then shall he let her be redeemed: to sell her unto a strange nation he shall have no power, seeing he hath dealt deceitfully with her.

If she is unacceptable in the eyes of her master, who had taken her for himself, then shall he let her be ransomed: to sell her unto a foreign people he hath no power, after having dealt unfaithfully with her.

if evil in the eyes of her lord, so that he hath not betrothed her, then he hath let her be ransomed; to a strange people he hath not power to sell her, in his dealing treacherously with her.

If she does not please the master who has selected her for himself, he must let her be redeemed. He has no right to sell her to foreigners, because he has broken faith with her.

And if he designated her for his son, he shall deal with her according to the custom of daughters.

And if he have betrothed her unto his son, he shall deal with her after the manner of daughters.

'And if to his son he betroth her, according to the right of daughters he doth to her.

If he selects her for his son, he must grant her the rights of a daughter.

If he takes another woman for himself, he shall not diminish her food, her clothing, or her marital rights.

If he take him another wife; her food, her raiment, and her duty of marriage, shall he not diminish.

If he take himself another, her food, her clothing, and her conjugal rights he shall not diminish.

'If another woman he take for him, her food, her covering, and her habitation, he doth not withdraw;
I
If he marries another woman, he must not deprive the first one of her food, clothing and marital rights.

若不向她行这三样,她就可以不用钱赎,白白地出去。
和
若不向她行这三样,她就可以不用钱赎,白白地出去。”

And if he does not do these three things for her, then she shall go out for nothing, without payment of silver.

他若不是埋伏着杀人,乃是神许可那人落在他手中,我就给你设下一个地方,使他可以逃往那里。

R
But if he did not lie in wait for him, but God allowed him to fall by his hand, then I will appoint you a place where he may flee to.

And if a man lie not in wait, but God deliver him into his hand; then I will appoint thee a place whither he shall flee.

But if he have not lain in wait, and God have delivered [him] into his hand, I will appoint thee a place to which he shall flee.

as to him who hath not laid wait, and God hath brought to his hand, I have even set for thee a place whither he doth flee.
I
However, if he does not do it intentionally, but God lets it happen, he is to flee to a place I will designate.

人若任意待邻舍,用诡计把他杀了,事后就是逃到我的坛那里,也当把他捉去处死。

人若任意用诡计杀了他的邻舍,就是逃到我的坛那里,也当捉去把他治死。

R
And if a man acts presumptuously toward his neighbor, so as to slay him with guile, you shall take him even from My altar so that he may die.

But if a man come presumptuously upon his neighbour, to slay him with guile; thou shalt take him from mine altar, that he may die.

But if a man act wantonly toward his neighbour, and slay him with guile, thou shalt take him from mine altar, that he may die.

'And when a man doth presume against his neighbour to slay him with subtilty, from Mine altar thou dost take him to die.
I
But if a man schemes and kills another man deliberately, take him away from my altar and put him to death.

And he who kidnaps a man, whether he sells him or he is found in his possession, shall surely be put to death.

'And he who stealeth a man, and hath sold him, and he hath been found in his hand, is certainly put to death.

Anyone who kidnaps another and either sells him or still has him when he is caught must be put to death.

'And he who is reviling his father or his mother is certainly put to death.

Anyone who curses his father or mother must be put to death.

人若彼此争闹,这个用石头或拳头打那个,被打的并没有死,不过躺卧在床,

“人若彼此相争,这个用石头或是拳头打那个,尚且不至于死,不过躺卧在床,

“如果人彼此争论,一个用石头或拳头打另一个,但他还没有死,不过要躺在床上,

假使二人吵架,一人用石头或锄头打了另一人,被打的人未死,却应卧床休养,

And if men contend and one strikes the other with a stone or with his fist so that he does not die but remains in bed;

And if men strive together, and one smite another with a stone, or with his fist, and he die not, but keepeth his bed:

And if men dispute, and one strike the other with a stone, or with the fist, and he die not, but take to [his] bed,

'And when men contend, and a man hath smitten his neighbour with a stone, or with the fist, and he die not, but hath fallen on the bed;
I
If men quarrel and one hits the other with a stone or with his fist and he does not die but is confined to bed,

以后若能起来扶杖出外走动,那打他的可算无罪;但要赔偿他损失的时间,并要将他全然医好。
和
若再能起来扶杖而出,那打他的可算无罪;但要将他耽误的工夫用钱赔补,并要将他全然医好。

R
If he can rise up and walk around outside on his staff, then he who struck him shall be guiltless; he shall only pay for the loss of his time, until he has made sure he is completely healed.

If he rise again, and walk abroad upon his staff, then shall he that smote him be quit: only he shall pay for the loss of his time, and shall cause him to be thoroughly healed.

אֹ֣ו נֹודַ֗ע כִּ֠י שֹׁ֣ור נַגָּ֥ח הוּא֙ מִתְּמֹ֣ול שִׁלְשֹׁ֔ם וְלֹ֥א יִשְׁמְרֶ֖נּוּ בְּעָלָ֑יו שַׁלֵּ֨ם יְשַׁלֵּ֥ם שֹׁור֙ תַּ֣חַתהַשֹּׁ֔ור וְהַמֵּ֖ת יִֽהְיֶה־לֹּֽו׃ ס

Or if it is known that the ox was accustomed to goring previously and its owner would not keep it in, he shall surely give restitution, an ox for an ox, and the dead animal shall become his.

Or if it be known that the ox hath used to push in time past, and his owner hath not kept him in; he shall surely pay ox for ox; and the dead shall be his own.

Or if it be known that the ox have gored heretofore, and its owner have not kept him in, he shall in any case restore ox for ox; and the dead shall be his.

or, it hath been known that the ox is one accustomed to gore heretofore, and its owner doth not watch it, he certainly repayeth ox for ox, and the dead is his.

However, if it was known that the bull had the habit of goring, yet the owner did not keep it penned up, the owner must pay, animal for animal, and the dead animal will be his.
