When Jehovah your God cuts off the nations whose land Jehovah your God is giving you and you dispossess them and dwell in their cities and in their houses,

You shall set apart three cities for yourself in the midst of your land, which Jehovah your God is giving you to possess.

תָּכִ֣ין לְךָ֮ הַדֶּרֶךְ֒ וְשִׁלַּשְׁתָּ֙ אֶת־גְּב֣וּל אַרְצְךָ֔ אֲשֶׁ֥ר יַנְחִֽילְךָ֖ יְהוָ֣ה אֱלֹהֶ֑יךָ וְהָיָ֕ה לָנ֥וּס שָׁ֖מָּהכָּל־רֹצֵֽחַ׃
R
You shall survey the distances for yourself and divide into three parts the territory of your land, which Jehovah your God will give you as an inheritance, so that every manslayer may flee there.

Thou shalt prepare thee a way, and divide the coasts of thy land, which the LORD thy God giveth thee to inherit, into three parts, that every slayer may flee thither.

And this shall be the case of the manslayer who flees there and lives: He who slays his neighbor without intent and did not hate him previously —

And this is the case of the slayer, which shall flee thither, that he may live: Whoso killeth his neighbour ignorantly, whom he hated not in time past;

And this is the case of the slayer who shall flee thither that he may live: he that smiteth his neighbour unwittingly, whom he hated not previously;

'And this is the matter of the man-slayer who fleeth thither, and hath lived: He who smiteth his neighbour unknowingly, and is not hating him heretofore,

This is the rule concerning the man who kills another and flees there to save his life-one who kills his neighbor unintentionally, without malice aforethought.

就如人与邻舍同入树林砍伐树木，手拿斧子砍树，斧头脱了把，打在邻舍身上，以至于死，这人可以逃到那些城的一座城而得存活，

As when a man goes with his neighbor into the forest to cut wood, and his hand goes to cut the tree with an axe, and the iron axehead slips off the handle and hits his neighbor so that he dies — he shall flee to one of these cities and live;

As when a man goeth into the wood with his neighbour to hew wood, and his hand fetcheth a stroke with the axe to cut down the tree, and the head slippeth from the helve, and lighteth upon his neighbour, that he die; he shall flee unto one of those cities, and live:

as when he goeth into the wood with his neighbour to hew wood, and his hand fetcheth a stroke with the axe to cut down the tree, and the iron slippeth from the handle, and lighteth upon his neighbour, that he die; such an one shall flee unto one of these cities, and live;

even he who cometh in with his neighbour into a forest to hew wood, and his hand hath driven with an axe to cut the tree, and the iron hath slipped from the wood, and hath met his neighbour, and he hath died -- he doth flee unto one of these cities, and hath lived,

For instance, a man may go into the forest with his neighbor to cut wood, and as he swings his ax to fell a tree, the head may fly off and hit his neighbor and kill him. That man may flee to one of these cities and save his life.

פֶּן־יִרְדֹּף֩ גֹּאֵ֨ל הַדָּ֜ם אַחֲרֵ֣י הָרֹצֵ֗חַ כִּי־יֵחַם֮ לְבָבֹו֒ וְהִשִּׂיגֹ֛ו כִּֽי־יִרְבֶּ֥ה הַדֶּ֖רֶךְ וְהִכָּ֣הוּ נָ֑פֶשׁ וְלֹו֙אֵ֣ין מִשְׁפַּט־מָ֔וֶת כִּ֠י לֹ֣א שֹׂנֵ֥א ה֛וּא לֹ֖ו מִתְּמֹ֥ול שִׁלְשֹֽׁום׃

Lest the avenger of blood pursue the manslayer, while his heart rages, and he overtake him because the distance is long and slay him; though he is not worthy of death, for he did not hate him previously.

Therefore I am commanding you, saying, You shall set apart three cities for yourself.

This is why I command you to set aside for yourselves three cities.

耶和华你神若照祂向你列祖所起的誓，扩张你的境界，将所应许赐你列祖的地全然给你；

וְאִם־יַרְחִ֞יב יְהוָ֤ה אֱלֹהֶ֨יךָ֙ אֶת־גְּבֻ֣לְךָ֔ כַּאֲשֶׁ֥ר נִשְׁבַּ֖ע לַאֲבֹתֶ֑יךָ וְנָ֤תַן לְךָ֙ אֶת־כָּל־הָאָ֔רֶץ אֲשֶׁ֥רדִּבֶּ֖ר לָתֵ֥ת לַאֲבֹתֶֽיךָ׃

And if Jehovah your God enlarges your territory, as He swore to your fathers, and gives you all the land which He promised to give to your fathers;

And if the LORD thy God enlarge thy coast, as he hath sworn unto thy fathers, and give thee all the land which he promised to give unto thy fathers;
D
And if Jehovah thy God enlarge thy border, as he hath sworn unto thy fathers, and give thee all the land which he promised to give unto thy fathers

'And if Jehovah thy God doth enlarge thy border, as He hath sworn to thy fathers, and hath given to thee all the land which He hath spoken to give to thy fathers --
I
If the Lord your God enlarges your territory, as he promised on oath to your forefathers, and gives you the whole land he promised them,

你若谨守遵行我今日所吩咐的这一切诫命，爱耶和华你的神，常常行祂的道路，就要在这三座城之外，再为自己加添三座城；

你若谨守遵行我今日所吩咐的这一切诫命，爱耶和华你的神，常常遵行他的道，就要在这三座城之外，再添三座城，

如果你谨守遵行我今日吩咐你的这一切诫命，爱耶和华你的神，常常行他的道路，你就要在这三座城以外，再加添三座城；

倘若你谨守遵行我今日吩咐你的这一切诫命，爱上主你的天主，日日履行他的道路，──你应在这三座城以外，另设三座城，

你如果谨慎实行我今日所吩咐你的这一切诫命，爱永恒主你的上帝，行他的道路──那么你就要在这三座城以外、再加上三座，

If you are certain to do all this commandment which I am commanding you today, to love Jehovah your God and to walk in His ways always; then you shall add three more cities for yourself, besides these three,

If thou shalt keep all these commandments to do them, which I command thee this day, to love the LORD thy God, and to walk ever in his ways; then shalt thou add three cities more for thee, beside these three:

(if thou keep all this commandment to do it, which I command thee this day, to love Jehovah thy God, and to walk in his ways continually), then shalt thou add three cities more for thyself to these three,

when thou keepest all this command to do it, which I am commanding thee to-day, to love Jehovah thy God, and to walk in His ways all the days -- then thou hast added to thee yet three cities to these three;
I
because you carefully follow all these laws I command you today-to love the Lord your God and to walk always in his ways-then you are to set aside three more cities.

R
That innocent blood may not be shed in the midst of your land, which Jehovah your God is giving you as an inheritance, and guilt for blood be upon you.

וְכִֽי־יִהְיֶ֥ה אִישׁ֙ שֹׂנֵ֣א לְרֵעֵ֔הוּ וְאָ֤רַב לֹו֙ וְקָ֣ם עָלָ֔יו וְהִכָּ֥הוּ נֶ֖פֶשׁ וָמֵ֑ת וְנָ֕ס אֶל־אַחַ֖ת הֶעָרִ֥יםהָאֵֽל׃

But if a man hates his neighbor and lies in wait for him, and he rises up against him and slays him so that he dies, and he flees to one of these cities;

他本城的长老就要打发人去，从那里带出他来，交在报血仇的手中，将他治死。

Then the elders of his city shall send men and take him from there and deliver him into the hand of the avenger of blood, so that he may die.

Your eye shall not pity him, but you shall remove the guilt of innocent blood from Israel that it may go well with you.

Thine eye shall not pity him, but thou shalt put away the guilt of innocent blood from Israel, that it may go well with thee.

Thine eye shall not spare him; and thou shalt put away innocent blood from Israel, that it may be well with thee.

Show him no pity. You must purge from Israel the guilt of shedding innocent blood, so that it may go well with you.

在耶和华你神所赐你为业之地，在你所承受的产业上，不可挪移你邻舍的地界，那是先人所定的。

You shall not move your neighbor's boundary marker, which your ancestors have set, in your inheritance, which you will inherit in the land which Jehovah your God is giving you to possess.
