Then the children of Israel again did that which was evil in the sight of Jehovah, and Jehovah delivered them into the hand of the Philistines forty years.

And the Angel of Jehovah appeared to the woman and said to her, Now you are barren and have borne no children; but you will conceive and bear a son.

And now be careful not to drink wine or strong drink nor to eat anything unclean;

כִּי֩ הִנָּ֨ךְ הָרָ֜ה וְיֹלַ֣דְתְּ בֵּ֗ן וּמֹורָה֙ לֹא־יַעֲלֶ֣ה עַל־רֹאשֹׁ֔ו כִּֽי־נְזִ֧יר אֱלֹהִ֛ים יִהְיֶ֥ה הַנַּ֖עַר מִן־הַבָּ֑טֶןוְה֗וּא יָחֵ֛ל לְהֹושִׁ֥יעַ אֶת־יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל מִיַּ֥ד פְּלִשְׁתִּֽים׃
R
For you shall conceive and bear a son. And no razor shall come upon his head, for the boy will be a Nazarite to God from the womb; and he will begin to save Israel from the hand of the Philistines.

For, lo, thou shalt conceive, and bear a son; and no razor shall come on his head: for the child shall be a Nazarite unto God from the womb: and he shall begin to deliver Israel out of the hand of the Philistines.

Then the woman came and told her husband, saying, A man of God came to me; and His appearance was like the appearance of an angel of God, very awesome. And I did not ask Him where He was from, nor did He tell me His name;

And the woman cometh and speaketh to her husband, saying, 'A man of God hath come unto me, and his appearance is as the appearance of a messenger of God, very fearful, and I have not asked him whence he is, and his name he hath not declared to me;

Then the woman went to her husband and told him, "A man of God came to me. He looked like an angel of God, very awesome. I didn't ask him where he came from, and he didn't tell me his name.

却对我说，你必怀孕生一个儿子；现在你淡酒浓酒都不可喝，一切不洁之物也不可吃；因为这孩子从母腹里一直到死，必归神作拿细耳人。
和
却对我说：‘你要怀孕生一个儿子，所以清酒浓酒都不可喝，一切不洁之物也不可吃，因为这孩子从出胎一直到死，必归神作拿细耳人。’”

他对我说：‘你必要怀孕，生一个儿子；现在清酒或烈酒你都不可喝，各样不洁的东西你也不可吃，因为这孩子从在母腹开始，一直到死，都必归耶和华作拿细耳人。’”

他对我说：看，你将怀孕生子，从今以后清酒浓酒都不可喝，各种不洁的东西都不可吃，因为这孩子从母胎一直到死，是献于天主的。”
吕
只对我说：‘注意吧，你必怀孕，生个儿子；因此清酒浓酒你都不可喝，一切不洁净之物你也不可吃；因为这孩子从出母腹一直到死、总归于上帝做离俗人（即：分别为圣者）。’”

却对我说：‘看哪，妳要怀孕，生

But He said to me, You shall conceive and bear a son. And now do not drink wine or strong drink, nor eat anything unclean; for the boy will be a Nazarite to God from the womb until the day of his death.

玛挪亚就祈求耶和华说，主啊，求你叫你所差遣的神人再到我们这里来，好指教我们怎样待这将要生的孩子。
和
玛挪亚就祈求耶和华说：“主啊，求你再差遣那神人到我们这里来，好指教我们怎样待这将要生的孩子。”

玛挪亚就恳求耶和华，说：“啊，主啊，求你叫你派来的神人再到我们这里吧！好指教我们要怎样对待将要生下来的孩子。”
思
玛诺亚就向上主恳求说：“我主！求你叫你所派的那位天主的人再到我们这里来！指教我们对于将生的婴孩应该作什么？”
吕
玛挪亚就恳求永恒主说：“主啊，请叫你所差遣的神人再到我们这里来，好指教我们怎样看管这将要生下来的孩子。”
直
玛挪亚就祈求雅威说：“主啊，恳请．让你所差遣的那神人再次到我们这里来，好指教我们怎样待这将要出生的孩子。”
原
וַיֶּעְתַּ֥ר מָנֹ֛וחַ אֶל־יְהוָ֖ה וַיֹּאמַ֑ר בִּ֣י אֲדֹונָ֔י אִ֣ישׁ הָאֱלֹהִ֞ים אֲשֶׁ֣ר שָׁלַ֗חְתָּ יָבֹוא־נָ֥א עֹוד֙ אֵלֵ֔ינוּוְיֹורֵ֕נוּ מַֽה־נַּעֲשֶׂ֖ה לַנַּ֥עַר הַיּוּלָּֽד׃

Then Manoah entreated Jehovah and said, Oh, my Lord! Let the man of God, whom You sent, come again to us, I pray; and let Him teach us what we should do with the boy that is to be born.

Then Manoah intreated the LORD, and said, O my Lord, let the man of God which thou didst send come again unto us, and teach us what we shall do unto the child that shall be born.

Then Manoah prayed to Jehovah, and said, Ah Lord! let the man of God which thou didst send come again unto us, I pray thee, and teach us what we shall do unto the child that shall be born.
Y
And Manoah maketh entreaty unto Jehovah, and saith, 'O, my Lord, the man of God whom Thou didst send, let him come in, I pray thee, again unto us, and direct us what we do to the youth who is born.'
I
Then Manoah prayed to the LORD : "O Lord , I beg you, let the man of God you sent to us come again to teach us how to bring up the boy who is to be born."

And God hearkened to the voice of Manoah; and the Angel of God came again to the woman while she was sitting in the field, but Manoah her husband was not with her.

And the woman hurried and ran off; and she told her husband and said to him, The man who came to me that day has just appeared to me.

And the woman made haste, and ran, and shewed her husband, and said unto him, Behold, the man hath appeared unto me, that came unto me the other day.

and the woman hasteth, and runneth, and declareth to her husband, and saith unto him, 'Lo, he hath appeared unto me -- the man who came on that day unto me.'

The woman hurried to tell her husband, "He's here! The man who appeared to me the other day!"

玛挪亚起来跟随他的妻子来到那人跟前，对祂说，你就是与这妇人说话的人么？祂说，我就是。
和

玛挪亚起来，跟随他的妻子．来到那人那里，对他说：“与这妇人说话的就是你吗？”他说：“是我”。

וַיָּ֛קָם וַיֵּ֥לֶךְ מָנֹ֖וחַ אַחֲרֵ֣י אִשְׁתֹּ֑ו וַיָּבֹא֙ אֶל־הָאִ֔ישׁ וַיֹּ֣אמֶר לֹ֗ו הַאַתָּ֥ה הָאִ֛ישׁ אֲשֶׁר־דִּבַּ֥רְתָּאֶל־הָאִשָּׁ֖ה וַיֹּ֥אמֶר אָֽנִי׃
R
And Manoah rose up and followed his wife and came to the man. And he said to Him, Are You the man who spoke to this woman? And He said, I am.

And Manoah arose, and went after his wife, and came to the man, and said unto him, Art thou the man that spakest unto the woman? And he said, I am.

And Manoah rose up and went after his wife, and came to the man, and said to him, Art thou the man that didst speak to the woman? And he said, I am.

And Manoah riseth, and goeth after his wife, and cometh unto the man, and saith to him, 'Art thou the man who spake unto the woman?' and he saith, 'I am.'

Manoah got up and followed his wife. When he came to the man, he said, "Are you the one who talked to my wife?" "I am," he said.

玛挪亚说，那么，当你的话应验时，这孩子当守什么规条？他要作的是什么？

玛挪亚说：“愿你的话应验，我们当怎样待这孩子，他后来当怎样呢？”

玛挪亚说：“现在，愿你的话应验！这孩子

וַיֹּ֣אמֶר מָנֹ֔וחַ עַתָּ֖ה יָבֹ֣א דְבָרֶ֑יךָ מַה־יִּֽהְיֶ֥ה מִשְׁפַּט־הַנַּ֖עַר וּמַעֲשֵֽׂהוּ׃
R
And Manoah said, Now when Your words come to pass, what rule shall the boy follow, and what shall he do?
K
And Manoah said, Now let thy words come to pass. How shall we order the child, and how shall we do unto him?

And Manoah said, When thy words then come to pass, what shall be the child's manner and his doing?

And Manoah saith, 'Now let thy words come to pass; what is the custom of the youth -- and his work?'
I
So Manoah asked him, "When your words are fulfilled, what is to be the rule for the boy's life and work?"

וַיֹּ֛אמֶר מַלְאַ֥ךְ יְהוָ֖ה אֶל־מָנֹ֑וחַ מִכֹּ֛ל אֲשֶׁר־אָמַ֥רְתִּי אֶל־הָאִשָּׁ֖ה תִּשָּׁמֵֽר׃
R
And the Angel of Jehovah said to Manoah, Observe all that I spoke to this woman.

And the angel of the LORD said unto Manoah, Of all that I said unto the woman let her beware.

And the messenger of Jehovah saith unto Manoah, 'Of all that I said unto the woman let her take heed;

The angel of the LORD answered, "Your wife must do all that I have told her.

And Manoah said to the Angel of Jehovah, Let us detain You, we pray, that we may prepare a kid for You.

And Manoah said unto the angel of the LORD, I pray thee, let us detain thee, until we shall have made ready a kid for thee.

And Manoah said to the Angel of Jehovah, I pray thee, let us detain thee, and we will make ready a kid of the goats for thee.

And Manoah saith unto the messenger of Jehovah, 'Let us detain thee, we pray thee, and prepare before thee a kid of the goats.'

Manoah said to the angel of the LORD , "We would like you to stay until we prepare a young goat for you."

R
And the Angel of Jehovah said to Manoah, If you detain Me, I will not eat your food; but if you prepare a burnt offering, offer it up to Jehovah. For Manoah did not know that He was the Angel of Jehovah.

And the angel of the LORD said unto Manoah, Though thou detain me, I will not eat of thy bread: and if thou wilt offer a burnt offering, thou must offer it unto the LORD. For Manoah knew not that he was an angel of the LORD.

And the Angel of Jehovah said to Manoah, Though thou shouldest detain me, I will not eat of thy bread; and if thou wilt offer a burnt-offering, thou shalt offer it up to Jehovah. For Manoah knew not that he was the Angel of Jehovah.

And the messenger of Jehovah saith unto Manoah, 'If thou detain me -- I do not eat of thy bread; and if thou prepare a burnt-offering -- to Jehovah thou dost offer it;' for Manoah hath not known that He is a messenger of Jehovah.

The angel of the LORD replied, "Even though you detain me, I will not eat any of your food. But if you prepare a burnt offering, offer it to the LORD ." (Manoah did not realize that it was the angel of the LORD .)

Then Manoah said to the Angel of Jehovah, What is Your name, so that when Your words come to pass, we may honor You?

And Manoah said unto the angel of the LORD, What is thy name, that when thy sayings come to pass we may do thee honour?

And Manoah said to the Angel of Jehovah, What is thy name, that when thy word cometh to pass we may do thee honour?

And Manoah saith unto the messenger of Jehovah, 'What is thy name? when thy words come to pass, then we have honoured thee.'

Then Manoah inquired of the angel of the LORD , "What is your name, so that we may honor you when your word comes true?"

And the Angel of Jehovah said to him, Why do you ask about My name, since it is wonderful?

And the angel of the LORD said unto him, Why askest thou thus after my name, seeing it is secret?

And the Angel of Jehovah said to him, How is it that thou askest after my name, seeing it is wonderful?

And the messenger of Jehovah saith to him, 'Why is this -- thou dost ask for My name? -- and it is Wonderful.'
I
He replied, "Why do you ask my name? It is beyond understanding. "

And Manoah took the kid with the meal offering and offered it up upon the rock to Jehovah; and He acted wondrously, while Manoah and his wife looked on.

So Manoah took a kid with a meat offering, and offered it upon a rock unto the LORD: and the angel did wondrously; and Manoah and his wife looked on.

Then Manoah took the kid and the oblation, and offered it up to Jehovah upon the rock. And he did wondrously, and Manoah and his wife looked on.

And Manoah taketh the kid of the goats, and the present, and offereth on the rock to Jehovah, and He is doing wonderfully, and Manoah and his wife are looking on,

Then Manoah took a young goat, together with the grain offering, and sacrificed it on a rock to the LORD . And the LORD did an amazing thing while Manoah and his wife watched:

And when the flame went up from the altar to heaven, the Angel of Jehovah went up in the flame of the altar, while Manoah and his wife looked on; and they fell on their faces to the ground.

For it came to pass, when the flame went up toward heaven from off the altar, that the angel of the LORD ascended in the flame of the altar. And Manoah and his wife looked on it, and fell on their faces to the ground.

And it came to pass, as the flame went up from off the altar towards the heavens, that the Angel of Jehovah ascended in the flame of the altar; and Manoah and his wife looked on, and fell on their faces to the ground.

and it cometh to pass, in the going up of the flame from off the altar toward the heavens, that the messenger of Jehovah goeth up in the flame of the altar, and Manoah and his wife are looking on, and they fall on their faces to the earth,

As the flame blazed up from the altar toward heaven, the angel of the LORD ascended in the flame. Seeing this, Manoah and his wife fell with their faces to the ground.

And the Angel of Jehovah did not appear again to Manoah and his wife. Then Manoah knew that He was the Angel of Jehovah.

But the angel of the LORD did no more appear to Manoah and to his wife. Then Manoah knew that he was an angel of the LORD.

And the Angel of Jehovah appeared no more to Manoah and to his wife. Then Manoah knew that it was the Angel of Jehovah.

and the messenger of Jehovah hath not added again to appear unto Manoah, and unto his wife, then hath Manoah known that He is a messenger of Jehovah.

When the angel of the LORD did not show himself again to Manoah and his wife, Manoah realized that it was the angel of the LORD .

但他妻子对他说：“如果上主有意叫我们死，必定不会悦纳我们的手所献的全燔祭和素祭，必不会使我们看见这些事，也不会使我们听到像现在这样的话。”

他妻子却对他说：“永恒主若有意思要杀死我们，他就不从我们手里接纳燔祭和素祭，也不让我们看见这一切事，更不在这时候让我们听到这一类话呀。”

他的妻却对他说：“雅威若要杀我们，必不从我们手里收纳燔祭和素祭，不会将这一切事指示我们，这时也不会使我们听到这个

וַתֹּ֧אמֶר לֹ֣ו אִשְׁתֹּ֗ו לוּ֩ חָפֵ֨ץ יְהוָ֤ה לַהֲמִיתֵ֨נוּ֙ לֹֽא־לָקַ֤ח מִיָּדֵ֨נוּ֙ עֹלָ֣ה וּמִנְחָ֔ה וְלֹ֥א הֶרְאָ֖נוּאֶת־כָּל־אֵ֑לֶּה וְכָעֵ֕ת לֹ֥א הִשְׁמִיעָ֖נוּ כָּזֹֽאת׃
R
But his wife said to him, If Jehovah had been pleased to kill us, He would not have taken a burnt offering and a meal offering from our hand, nor would He have shown us all these things or let us hear a thing like this at this time.

But his wife said unto him, If the LORD were pleased to kill us, he would not have received a burnt offering and a meat offering at our hands, neither would he have shewed us all these things, nor would as at this time have told us such things as these.

But his wife said to him, If Jehovah were pleased to kill us, he would not have received a burnt-offering and an oblation at our hands, neither would he have shewed us all these things, nor would he at this time have told us [such things] as these.

And his wife saith to him, 'If Jehovah were desirous to put us to death, He had not received from our hands burnt-offering and present, nor shewed us all these things, nor as at this time caused us to hear anything like this.'

But his wife answered, "If the LORD had meant to kill us, he would not have accepted a burnt offering and grain offering from our hands, nor shown us all these things or now told us this."
