有人告诉约押说,看哪,王为押沙龙哭泣悲哀。

君王一听这话,不胜悲伤,就上了门楼痛哭;他哭着说:“我儿阿贝沙隆!我儿;我儿阿贝沙隆!巴不得我替你死了!我儿阿贝沙隆!我儿!”

And Joab was told: The king now weeps and mourns for Absalom.

你却爱那些恨你的人,恨那些爱你的人;你今日表明了,将帅和仆人对你不算什么。我今日才晓得,若押沙龙活着,我们都死亡,你就喜悦了。

你却爱那恨你的人,恨那爱你的人。你今日明明地不以将帅、仆人为念。我今日看明,若押沙龙活着,我们都死亡,你就喜悦了。

你爱那些恨你的,恨那些爱你的。因为你今天表明了你不重视将帅和臣仆;我今天才明白,如果押沙龙活着,我们大家都死去,你就欢喜了。

让你去爱那恨你的人,去恨那爱你的人!因为你今天明明表示你以将军和臣仆人为无物;因为我今天才晓得假如押沙龙活着、我们大家今天都死去,那你就看得顺眼了!

(原文19:7)借着爱那恨你的人,恨那爱你的人。你今日摆明了.在你(心中)没有将帅和仆人,我今日知道,押沙龙今日若活着,我们全都死亡,那么在你眼中就欢喜了。

R  
In that you love those who hate you and hate those who love you; for you have made it clear today that princes and servants are nothing to you. But I realize today that if Absalom had lived and we all had died today, then it would have been fine in your sight.

In that thou lovest thine enemies, and hatest thy friends. For thou hast declared this day, that thou regardest neither princes nor servants: for this day I perceive, that if Absalom had lived, and all we had died this day, then it had pleased thee well.

You love those who hate you and hate those who love you. You have made it clear today that the commanders and their men mean nothing to you. I see that you would be pleased if Absalom were alive today and all of us were dead.

现在你当起来,出去安慰你仆人的心。我指着耶和华起誓,你若不出去,今夜必无一人与你同在一处;这祸患就比你从幼年到如今所遭的更甚。

现在你当出去,安慰你仆人的心。我指着耶和华起誓:你若不出去,今夜必无一人与你同在一处。这祸患就比你从幼年到如今所遭的更甚。”

现在请你起来,出去,说些安慰你仆人们的话。我指着耶和华起誓,如果你不出去,今夜就必没有一人留下来与你在一起。这祸患就比你从幼年到现在所遭受的一切祸患更厉害了。”
思 
然而恨你的,你反爱他;爱你的,你反恨他。今天你已明确表示:王侯和臣民为你不算什么。我也明明看出:阿贝沙隆今天若能活着,我们都死了,你才安心呢!
吕 
现在你要出去、说些鼓舞你仆人的心的话;因为我指着永恒主来起誓:你若不出去,今夜就没有一人会跟你在一处;这对于你的害处就比你从幼年到如今所遭遇的祸患更厉害了。”
直 
(原文19:8)现在当起来,出去,向你仆人们的心说话(意思是安慰)。我指着雅威起誓,你若不出去,今夜若有还人跟你同在一处,(我就被雷打死!)你这个祸患就比…一切祸患更严重!”从你幼年到现在临到你身上的

Now therefore rise up; go forth and comfort the hearts of your servants. For I swear by Jehovah that if you do not go forth, not a man will remain with you tonight; and that will be worse for you than all the evil that has come upon you from your youth until now.

Now therefore arise, go forth, and speak comfortably unto thy servants: for I swear by the LORD, if thou go not forth, there will not tarry one with thee this night: and that will be worse unto thee than all the evil that befell thee from thy youth until now.

Now go out and encourage your men. I swear by the Lord that if you don't go out, not a man will be left with you by nightfall. This will be worse for you than all the calamities that have come upon you from your youth till now."

于是王起来,坐在城门口。有人告诉众民说,看哪,王坐在城门口;众民就都到王面前。以色列人已经逃跑,各人回自己的帐棚去了。

现今你快起来,出去,说几句使你仆人们安心的话吧!我指着上主起誓,如果你不出去,今夜再没有一个人同你一起了。这祸患于你要超过你从小至今所遭遇的一切祸患。”

于是王起来,去坐在城门口。有人告诉众民说:“看哪,王坐在城门口呢。”众民就都到王面前来。先是以色列人都已逃跑,各回各家(原文:帐棚)而去。
直 
(原文19:9)于是王起来,坐在城门。有人告诉士兵说:“看哪,王坐在城门”,众士兵就都来到王面前。以色列(人)已经逃跑,各回自己的帐棚去了。

So the king rose up and sat in the gate. And all the people were told, saying, The king is now sitting in the gate. And all the people came before the king. Now Israel had fled, every man to his tent.

君王就起来,坐在大门口。遂有人向军民传报说:“君王已坐在门口!”军人便都聚齐,来到君王前。以色列人各自逃回自己的营幕。

在以色列众族派中人民都纷纷争论说:“王曾援救了我们脱离仇敌的手掌,他曾搭救了我们脱离非利士人的手掌;现在他竟躲避押沙龙、离开此地逃走了。

(原文19:10)以色列众支派的士兵纷纷议论.说:“王曾救我们脱离我们仇敌的手掌,他又救我们脱离非利士人的手掌,现在他躲避押沙龙逃走离开这地。

And all the people quarreled throughout all the tribes of Israel, saying, The king delivered us out of the hand of our enemies, and he saved us out of the hand of the Philistines; and now he has fled out of the land because of Absalom.

我们所膏为王,治理我们的押沙龙,已经阵亡。现在为什么不出一言请王回来呢?

那时,以色列各支派的民众纷纷议论说:“君王从仇人手中解救了我们,又从培肋舍特人手中拯救了我们,现在,他竟为逃避阿贝沙隆离开了本国。
吕 
我们所膏立来管理我们的押沙龙已经阵亡了,现在你们为什么静不作声、不请王回来呢?”
直 
(原文19:11)我们所膏治理我们的押沙龙已经阵亡,现在你们为什么不出一言请王回来呢?”

וַיְהִ֤י כָל־הָעָם֙ נָדֹ֔ון בְּכָל־שִׁבְטֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל לֵאמֹ֑ר הַמֶּ֜לֶךְ הִצִּילָ֣נוּ׀ מִכַּ֣ף אֹיְבֵ֗ינוּ וְה֤וּא מִלְּטָ֨נוּ֙מִכַּ֣ף פְּלִשְׁתִּ֔ים וְעַתָּ֛ה בָּרַ֥ח מִן־הָאָ֖רֶץ מֵעַ֥ל אַבְשָׁלֹֽום׃
R  
But Absalom, whom we anointed as king over us, is dead in battle. Now therefore why do you say nothing about bringing the king back?

大卫王差人去见祭司撒督和亚比亚他,说,你们当向犹大长老说,全以色列的人已经传话到王那里,你们在这事上为什么落后呢?

我们给阿贝沙隆曾傅油为管理我们,他已经战死。现今你们等什么,还不把君王接回来?”

大卫王打发人去见祭司撒督和亚比亚他、说:“你们要对犹大的长老们说:‘以色列众人已经有话到王那里、请王回宫,你们为什么在请王回宫的事情上落在他们后头呢?

(原文19:12)大卫王差人去.对祭司撒督和亚比亚他说:“你们当向犹大长老说:…你们为什么是最后请王回他的宫的呢?‘以色列众人已经说.要请王回他的宫,

And King David sent word to Zadok and to Abiathar the priests, saying, Speak to the elders of Judah, saying, Why are you the last to bring the king back to his house, seeing that the word of all Israel has come to the king?
