And he looked, and there at his head was a cake, baked on hot stones, and a jar of water. And he ate and drank, and lay down again.

And the angel of Jehovah came again the second time and touched him and said, Rise up and eat; for the journey is too great for you.

厄里亚答说：“我为上主万军的天主忧心如焚，因为以色列子民背弃了你的盟约，毁坏了你的祭坛，刀斩了你的先知，只剩下了我一个，他们还要夺取我的性命！”

以利亚说：“我为永恒主万军之上帝大发妒爱热情，因为以色列人撇弃了你的约，翻毁了你的祭坛，用刀杀死你的神言人，只剩下我一个人，他们还想法子要我的命。”

他说：“我为雅威──万军之神大发热心；因为以色列人背弃你的约，毁坏你的坛，用刀杀了你的先知，只剩下我一个人，他们还要寻索我的命来取它(原文用阴性，指性命)。”

And he said, I have been very jealous for Jehovah the God of hosts; for the children of Israel have forsaken Your covenant, thrown down Your altars, and slain Your prophets with the sword; and I alone am left, and they seek to take my life.

And he said, I have been very jealous for the LORD God of hosts: for the children of Israel have forsaken thy covenant, thrown down thine altars, and slain thy prophets with the sword; and I, even I only, am left; and they seek my life, to take it away.

And he said, I have been very jealous for Jehovah the God of hosts; for the children of Israel have forsaken thy covenant, thrown down thine altars, and slain thy prophets with the sword; and I am left, I alone, and they seek my life, to take it away.

And he saith, 'I have been very zealous for Jehovah, God of Hosts, for the sons of Israel have forsaken Thy covenant -- Thine altars they have thrown down, and Thy prophets they have slain by the sword, and I am left, I, by myself, and they seek my life -- to take it.'

He replied, "I have been very zealous for the Lord God Almighty. The Israelites have rejected your covenant, broken down your altars, and put your prophets to death with the sword. I am the only one left, and now they are trying to kill me too."

祂(指雅威)说：“出来站在山上，在雅威面前。”看哪，雅威经过，…有大而强烈的风，崩山碎石，在祂面前．雅威却不在风中；风后有地震，雅威也不在地震之中；

וַיֹּ֗אמֶר צֵ֣א וְעָמַדְתָּ֣ בָהָר֮ לִפְנֵ֣י יְהוָה֒ וְהִנֵּ֧ה יְהוָ֣ה עֹבֵ֗ר וְר֣וּחַ גְּדֹולָ֡ה וְחָזָ֞ק מְפָרֵק֩ הָרִ֨יםוּמְשַׁבֵּ֤ר סְלָעִים֙ לִפְנֵ֣י יְהוָ֔ה לֹ֥א בָר֖וּחַ יְהוָ֑ה וְאַחַ֤ר הָר֨וּחַ רַ֔עַשׁ לֹ֥א בָרַ֖עַשׁ יְהוָֽה׃

The Lord said, "Go out and stand on the mountain in the presence of the Lord , for the Lord is about to pass by." Then a great and powerful wind tore the mountains apart and shattered the rocks before the Lord , but the Lord was not in the wind. After the wind there was an earthquake, but the Lord was not in the earthquake.

וַיְהִ֣י׀ כִּשְׁמֹ֣עַ אֵלִיָּ֗הוּ וַיָּ֤לֶט פָּנָיו֙ בְּאַדַּרְתֹּ֔ו וַיֵּצֵ֕א וַֽיַּעֲמֹ֖ד פֶּ֣תַח הַמְּעָרָ֑ה וְהִנֵּ֤ה אֵלָיו֙ קֹ֔ולוַיֹּ֕אמֶר מַה־לְּךָ֥ פֹ֖ה אֵלִיָּֽהוּ׃

And when Elijah heard it, he wrapped his face in his mantle and went out and stood at the entrance of the cave. And then a voice came to him and said, What are you doing here, Elijah?

And it was so, when Elijah heard it, that he wrapped his face in his mantle, and went out, and stood in the entering in of the cave. And, behold, there came a voice unto him, and said, What doest thou here, Elijah?

And it came to pass, when Elijah heard it, that he wrapped his face in his mantle, and went out, and stood in the entrance of the cave. And behold, a voice [came] to him and said, What doest thou here, Elijah?

and it cometh to pass, at Elijah's hearing it, that he wrappeth his face in his robe, and goeth out, and standeth at the opening of the cave, and lo, unto him is a voice, and it saith, 'What -- to thee, here, Elijah?'

When Elijah heard it, he pulled his cloak over his face and went out and stood at the mouth of the cave. Then a voice said to him, "What are you doing here, Elijah?"

他说，我为耶和华万军之神大发妒忌；因为以色列人背弃了你的约，拆毁了你的坛，用刀杀了你的申言者，只剩下我一个人，他们还寻索要夺我的命。

他说：“我为耶和华万军之神大发热心；因为以色列人背弃了你的约，毁坏了你的坛，用刀杀了你的先知，只剩下我一个人，他们还要寻索我的命。”

以利亚说：“我为耶和华万军的神大发热心，因为以色列人背弃了你的约，拆毁了你的祭坛，用刀杀了你的众先知，只剩下我一个人，他们还在寻索，要取去我的性命。”

他答说：“我为上主万军的天主忧心如焚，因为以色列子民背弃了你的盟约，毁坏了你的祭坛，刀斩了你的先知，只剩下了我一个，他们还要夺取我的性命！”

他说：“我为着永恒主万军之上帝大发妒爱热情，因为以色列人撇弃了你的约，翻毁了你的祭坛，用刀杀死了你的神言人，只剩下我一个人，他们还想法子要我的命。”

他说：“我为雅威──万军之神大发热心；因为以色列人背弃你的约，毁坏你的坛，用刀杀了你的先知，只剩下我一个人，他们还要寻索我的命来取它(原文用阴性，指性命)。”

וַיֹּאמֶר֩ קַנֹּ֨א קִנֵּ֜אתִי לַיהוָ֣ה׀ אֱלֹהֵ֣י צְבָאֹ֗ות כִּֽי־עָזְב֤וּ בְרִֽיתְךָ֙ בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל אֶת־מִזְבְּחֹתֶ֣יךָהָרָ֔סוּ וְאֶת־נְבִיאֶ֖יךָ הָרְג֣וּ בֶחָ֑רֶב וָאִוָּתֵ֤ר אֲנִי֙ לְבַדִּ֔י וַיְבַקְשׁ֥וּ אֶת־נַפְשִׁ֖י לְקַחְתָּֽהּ׃ ס

And he said, I have been very jealous for Jehovah the God of hosts; for the children of Israel have forsaken Your covenant, thrown down Your altars, and slain Your prophets with the sword; and I alone am left, and they seek to take my life.

And he said, I have been very jealous for the LORD God of hosts: because the children of Israel have forsaken thy covenant, thrown down thine altars, and slain thy prophets with the sword; and I, even I only, am left; and they seek my life, to take it away.

And he said, I have been very jealous for Jehovah the God of hosts; for the children of Israel have forsaken thy covenant, thrown down thine altars, and slain thy prophets with the sword; and I am left, I alone, and they seek my life, to take it away.

And he saith, 'I have been very zealous for Jehovah, God of Hosts; for the sons of Israel have forsaken Thy covenant, Thine altars they have thrown down, and Thy prophets they have slain by the sword, and I am left, I, by myself, and they seek my life -- to take it.'

He replied, "I have been very zealous for the Lord God Almighty. The Israelites have rejected your covenant, broken down your altars, and put your prophets to death with the sword. I am the only one left, and now they are trying to kill me too."

耶和华对他说，你去吧，从你的原路回大马色的旷野去；到了那里，就要膏哈薛作亚兰王，

耶和华对他说：“你回去，从旷野往大马士革去。到了那里，就要膏哈薛作亚兰王；

耶和华对他说：“你离去吧，从你来的路回到大马士革的旷野去。你到了那里，就要膏哈薛作亚兰王。

上主对厄里亚说：“你回去，仍取道旷野，往大马士革去，到了那里，给哈匝耳傅油，立他为阿兰王。

永恒主对他说：“你回去，取道旷野往大马色去；到了那里，你要膏立哈薛做王去管理亚兰；

雅威对他说：“去吧，从你的(原)路回大马士革的旷野去。到了之后，就膏哈薛作亚兰王，

וַיֹּ֤אמֶר יְהוָה֙ אֵלָ֔יו לֵ֛ךְ שׁ֥וּב לְדַרְכְּךָ֖ מִדְבַּ֣רָה דַמָּ֑שֶׂק וּבָ֗אתָ וּמָשַׁחְתָּ֧ אֶת־חֲזָאֵ֛ל לְמֶ֖לֶךְעַל־אֲרָֽם׃

And Jehovah said to him, Go; return on your way to the wilderness of Damascus; and when you come there, anoint Hazael as king over Syria;

And the LORD said unto him, Go, return on thy way to the wilderness of Damascus: and when thou comest, anoint Hazael to be king over Syria:

And Jehovah said to him, Go, return on thy way to the wilderness of Damascus; and when thou comest, anoint Hazael king over Syria;

And Jehovah saith unto him, 'Go turn back on thy way to the wilderness of Damascus, and thou hast gone in, and anointed Hazael for king over Aram,

The Lord said to him, "Go back the way you came, and go to the Desert of Damascus. When you get there, anoint Hazael king over Aram.

又膏宁示的孙子耶户作以色列王，并膏亚伯米何拉人沙法的儿子以利沙作申言者接续你。

去给尼默史的孙子耶胡傅油，立他为以色列王；再去给阿贝耳默曷拉人沙法特的儿子厄里叟傅油，立他接替你为先知；

又膏立宁示的孙子耶户做王来管理以色列；并膏立亚伯米何拉人沙法的儿子以利沙接替着你做神言人。

又膏宁示的孙子耶户作以色列王，并膏亚伯‧米何拉人沙法的儿子以利沙．接续你作先知。”

וְאֵת֙ יֵה֣וּא בֶן־נִמְשִׁ֔י תִּמְשַׁ֥ח לְמֶ֖לֶךְ עַל־יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל וְאֶת־אֱלִישָׁ֤ע בֶּן־שָׁפָט֙ מֵאָבֵ֣ל מְחֹולָ֔התִּמְשַׁ֥ח לְנָבִ֖יא תַּחְתֶּֽיךָ׃

And Jehu the son of Nimshi you shall anoint as king over Israel; and Elisha the son of Shaphat of Abel-meholah you shall anoint as prophet in your place.

And Jehu the son of Nimshi shalt thou anoint to be king over Israel: and Elisha the son of Shaphat of Abelmeholah shalt thou anoint to be prophet in thy room.

and Jehu the son of Nimshi shalt thou anoint king over Israel; and Elisha the son of Shaphat of Abel-meholah shalt thou anoint prophet in thy stead.

and Jehu son of Nimshi thou dost anoint for king over Israel, and Elisha son of Shaphat, of Abel-Meholah, thou dost anoint for prophet in thy stead.

Also, anoint Jehu son of Nimshi king over Israel, and anoint Elisha son of Shaphat from Abel Meholah to succeed you as prophet.

将来躲过哈薛之刀的，必被耶户所杀；躲过耶户之刀的，必被以利沙所杀。

将来躲避哈薛之刀的，必被耶户所杀；躲避耶户之刀的，必被以利沙所杀。

将来逃得过哈薛的刀的，必被耶户杀死；逃得过耶户的刀的，必被以利沙杀死。

将来躲过哈匝耳的刀的，必为耶胡所杀；躲过耶胡的刀的，必为厄里叟所杀。

将来躲避了哈薛的刀的、耶户必杀死他；躲避了耶户的刀的、以利沙必杀死他。

将来躲避哈薛之刀的，耶户会杀；躲避耶户之刀的，以利沙会杀。

וְהָיָ֗ה הַנִּמְלָ֛ט מֵחֶ֥רֶב חֲזָאֵ֖ל יָמִ֣ית יֵה֑וּא וְהַנִּמְלָ֛ט מֵחֶ֥רֶב יֵה֖וּא יָמִ֥ית אֱלִישָֽׁע׃

And him who escapes the sword of Hazael, Jehu will kill; and him who escapes the sword of Jehu, Elisha will kill.

And it shall come to pass, that him that escapeth the sword of Hazael shall Jehu slay: and him that escapeth from the sword of Jehu shall Elisha slay.

And it shall come to pass, [that] him that escapeth the sword of Hazael shall Jehu slay; and him that escapeth the sword of Jehu shall Elisha slay.

'And it hath been, him who is escaped from the sword of Hazael, put to death doth Jehu, and him who is escaped from the sword of Jehu put to death doth Elisha;

Jehu will put to death any who escape the sword of Hazael, and Elisha will put to death any who escape the sword of Jehu.

但我在以色列中为自己留下了七千人，都是未曾向巴力屈膝，未曾与巴力亲嘴的。

但我在以色列人中为自己留下七千人，是未曾向巴力屈膝的，未曾与巴力亲嘴的。”

但我在以色列人中留下七千人，他们全是未曾向巴力屈过膝的，也未曾与巴力亲过嘴的。”

然而，在以色列我要为我自己留下七千人；他们全是从未向巴耳屈过膝，未与巴耳亲过嘴的人。

但我在以色列中已为自己保存了七千个余民、是未曾向巴力（即：外国人的神）屈膝过，未曾和巴力亲嘴过的。”

但我在以色列中留下七千人，任何膝盖都没有向巴力弯屈，任何嘴巴也没有亲它。

וְהִשְׁאַרְתִּ֥י בְיִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל שִׁבְעַ֣ת אֲלָפִ֑ים כָּל־הַבִּרְכַּ֗יִם אֲשֶׁ֤ר לֹֽא־כָֽרְעוּ֙ לַבַּ֔עַל וְכָ֨ל־הַפֶּ֔ה אֲשֶׁ֥רלֹֽא־נָשַׁ֖ק לֹֽו׃

Yet I have left Myself seven thousand in Israel, all the knees that have not bowed unto Baal and every mouth that has not kissed him.

于是以利亚离开那里走了，遇见沙法的儿子以利沙；他正在耕地，在他前头有十二对牛，自己赶着第十二对。以利亚往前走到他那里，将自己的外衣搭在他身上。

厄里亚于是从那里起身，去找沙法特的儿子厄里叟。他正在耕田，在他面前有十二对牛，他自己赶着第十二对；厄里亚走过他身边，将自己的外衣披在他身上。

于是以利亚离开那里走了，遇见沙法的儿子以利沙在犁田；在他前面有十二对牛，他自己赶着第十二对；以利亚往前走到他那里，将自己的外衣搭在他身上。

于是，他(指以利亚)从那里离开找到沙法的儿子以利沙，他正在耕地；有十二对牛在他前头，他自己(赶着)第十二对。以利亚过到他那里，把他自己的外衣搭在他(指以利亚沙身上。

וַיֵּ֣לֶךְ מִ֠שָּׁם וַיִּמְצָ֞א אֶת־אֱלִישָׁ֤ע בֶּן־שָׁפָט֙ וְה֣וּא חֹרֵ֔שׁ שְׁנֵים־עָשָׂ֤ר צְמָדִים֙ לְפָנָ֔יו וְה֖וּאבִּשְׁנֵ֣ים הֶעָשָׂ֑ר וַיַּעֲבֹ֤ר אֵלִיָּ֨הוּ֙ אֵלָ֔יו וַיַּשְׁלֵ֥ךְ אַדַּרְתֹּ֖ו אֵלָֽיו׃

And he went from there and found Elisha the son of Shaphat. And he was plowing with twelve yokes before him, and he was with the twelfth. And Elijah went over to him and threw his mantle upon him.

So he departed thence, and found Elisha the son of Shaphat, who was plowing with twelve yoke of oxen before him, and he with the twelfth: and Elijah passed by him, and cast his mantle upon him.

And he departed thence, and found Elisha the son of Shaphat, who was ploughing [with] twelve yokes before him, and he with the twelfth; and Elijah went over to him, and cast his mantle on him.

And he goeth thence, and findeth Elisha son of Shaphat, and he is plowing; twelve yoke are before him, and he is with the twelfth; and Elijah passeth over unto him, and casteth his robe upon him,

So Elijah went from there and found Elisha son of Shaphat. He was plowing with twelve yoke of oxen, and he himself was driving the twelfth pair. Elijah went up to him and threw his cloak around him.

以利沙就撇下牛，跑去跟随以利亚，说，求你让我先与父母亲嘴，然后我便跟随你。以利亚对他说，你回去吧，我向你作了什么呢？

以利沙就离开牛跑到以利亚那里，说：“求你容我先与父母亲嘴，然后我便跟随你。”以利亚对他说：“你回去吧！我向你作了什么呢？”

以利沙就撇下那些牛，跑在以利亚的后面，说：“请你允许我与父母亲吻别，然后我就跟随你。”以利亚对他说：“你回去吧！我向你作了什么呢？”

厄里叟丢下那些牛，追上厄里亚说：“请你让我先回去和我的 父母吻别，然后来跟随你。”厄里亚对他说：“你去吧！要再回来！因为我应为你作的，已经作了。”

以利沙就撇下那些牛，跑去追上以利亚，说：“请容我先和父母亲嘴，然后我便来跟随你。”以利亚对他说：“你去吧，可要回来；因为我向你作了什么、你总要记得。”

以利沙就撇下牛，跑去跟随以利亚，说：“求你容我(先)亲我的父亲和我的母亲，(然后)我便跟随你。”他对他说：“去吧，回去吧，我向你做了什么呢？”

וַיַּעֲזֹ֣ב אֶת־הַבָּקָ֗ר וַיָּ֨רָץ֙ אַחֲרֵ֣י אֵֽלִיָּ֔הוּ וַיֹּ֗אמֶר אֶשְּׁקָה־נָּא֙ לְאָבִ֣י וּלְאִמִּ֔י וְאֵלְכָ֖ה אַחֲרֶ֑יךָוַיֹּ֤אמֶר לֹו֙ לֵ֣ךְ שׁ֔וּב כִּ֥י מֶה־עָשִׂ֖יתִי לָֽךְ׃

And he left the oxen and ran after Elijah and said, Let me kiss my father and my mother, and I will follow you. And he said to him, Go back again; for what have I done to you?

And he left the oxen, and ran after Elijah, and said, Let me, I pray thee, kiss my father and my mother, and then I will follow thee. And he said unto him, Go back again: for what have I done to thee?

And he left the oxen, and ran after Elijah, and said, Let me, I pray thee, kiss my father and my mother, and I will follow thee. And he said to him, Go back again; for what have I done to thee?

and he forsaketh the oxen, and runneth after Elijah, and saith, 'Let me give a kiss, I pray thee, to my father and to my mother, and I go after thee.' And he saith to him, 'Go, turn back, for what have I done to thee?'

Elisha then left his oxen and ran after Elijah. "Let me kiss my father and mother good-by," he said, "and then I will come with you." "Go back," Elijah replied. "What have I done to you?"

以利沙就离开他回去，把一对牛宰了，用套牛的器具煮肉给民吃，随后就起身跟随以利亚，服事他。

以利沙就离开他而回去，取了一对牛来宰，用套牛的器具去煮，将肉给众民吃；随后就起身去跟随以利亚、做他的助手。

他(指以利沙)就离开他(指以利亚)回去，取了一对牛，把它宰了，用套牛的器具煮肉给百姓，他们就吃了，他(指以利沙)就起身跟随以利亚，服事他。

וַיָּ֨שָׁב מֵאַחֲרָ֜יו וַיִּקַּ֣ח אֶת־צֶ֧מֶד הַבָּקָ֣ר וַיִּזְבָּחֵ֗הוּ וּבִכְלִ֤י הַבָּקָר֙ בִּשְּׁלָ֣ם הַבָּשָׂ֔ר וַיִּתֵּ֥ן לָעָ֖םוַיֹּאכֵ֑לוּ וַיָּ֗קָם וַיֵּ֛לֶךְ אַחֲרֵ֥י אֵלִיָּ֖הוּ וַיְשָׁרְתֵֽהוּ׃ פ

And he returned from him and took the yoke of oxen and slaughtered them; and he boiled their flesh with the implements of the oxen and gave it to the people, and they ate. And he rose up and went after Elijah and ministered to him.

And he returned back from him, and took a yoke of oxen, and slew them, and boiled their flesh with the instruments of the oxen, and gave unto the people, and they did eat. Then he arose, and went after Elijah, and ministered unto him.

And he returned back from him, and took the yoke of oxen, and killed them, and boiled their flesh with the implements of the oxen, and gave to the people, and they ate. And he arose and went after Elijah, and ministered to him.

And he turneth back from after him, and taketh the yoke of oxen, and sacrificeth it, and with instruments of the oxen he hath boiled their flesh, and giveth to the people, and they eat, and he riseth, and goeth after Elijah, and serveth him.

So Elisha left him and went back. He took his yoke of oxen and slaughtered them. He burned the plowing equipment to cook the meat and gave it to the people, and they ate. Then he set out to follow Elijah and became his attendant.
