住在约但河西岸所有的阿摩黎人的王子，和所有靠近海滨的客纳罕人的王子，一听见上主使约但河水在以色列子民面前干涸了，直到他们都过了河，无不胆战心惊，面对以色列子民，个个吓得魂不附体。

在约但河西边的亚摩利人那些王、和靠海的迦南人那些王、听见永恒主使约但河的水从以色列人面前干了、等着我们过河，他们就因以色列人的缘故而胆战心惊，不再有勇气了。

当…听见约旦(河)那边，就是西边的亚摩利人众王．和靠海迦南人的众王．雅威…使约旦(河)的水干了，在以色列人前面．直到我们过去，他们的心…就消化了，不再有胆气。因以色列人的缘故

Now when all the kings of the Amorites, who were beyond the Jordan westward, and all the kings of the Canaanites, who were by the sea, heard that Jehovah had dried up the waters of the Jordan before the children of Israel until they crossed over, their hearts melted, and there was no longer any spirit in them because of the children of Israel.

Now when all the Amorite kings west of the Jordan and all the Canaanite kings along the coast heard how the Lord had dried up the Jordan before the Israelites until we had crossed over, their hearts melted and they no longer had the courage to face the Israelites.

At that time Jehovah said to Joshua, Make knives of flint, and circumcise again the children of Israel a second time.

And Joshua made knives of flint and circumcised the children of Israel at Gibeath-haaraloth.

וְזֶ֥ה הַדָּבָ֖ר אֲשֶׁר־מָ֣ל יְהֹושֻׁ֑עַ כָּל־הָעָ֣ם הַיֹּצֵא֩ מִמִּצְרַ֨יִם הַזְּכָרִ֜ים כֹּ֣ל׀ אַנְשֵׁ֣י הַמִּלְחָמָ֗ה מֵ֤תוּבַמִּדְבָּר֙ בַּדֶּ֔רֶךְ בְּצֵאתָ֖ם מִמִּצְרָֽיִם׃

And this is the reason Joshua circumcised them: All the people who came out of Egypt who were males, all the men of war, died in the wilderness on the way, after they had come out of Egypt.

Now this is why he did so: All those who came out of Egypt-all the men of military age-died in the desert on the way after leaving Egypt.

For the children of Israel went for forty years through the wilderness until all the nation, the men of war who had come out of Egypt, were consumed, because they did not listen to the voice of Jehovah, they to whom Jehovah swore that they would not see the land that Jehovah had sworn to their fathers to give us, a land flowing with milk and honey.

For the children of Israel walked forty years in the wilderness, till all the people that were men of war, which came out of Egypt, were consumed, because they obeyed not the voice of the LORD: unto whom the LORD sware that he would not shew them the land, which the LORD sware unto their fathers that he would give us, a land that floweth with milk and honey.

The Israelites had moved about in the desert forty years until all the men who were of military age when they left Egypt had died, since they had not obeyed the Lord . For the Lord had sworn to them that they would not see the land that he had solemnly promised their fathers to give us, a land flowing with milk and honey.

他们的子孙，就是耶和华所兴起来接替他们的，约书亚给他们行了割礼；他们本没有受过割礼，因为在路上没有给他们行割礼。

他们的子孙，就是祂所兴起接续他们的，约书亚这才给他们行了割礼；他们是未受割礼的人，因为在路上他们没有行割礼。

וְאֶת־בְּנֵיהֶם֙ הֵקִ֣ים תַּחְתָּ֔ם אֹתָ֖ם מָ֣ל יְהֹושֻׁ֑עַ כִּי־עֲרֵלִ֣ים הָי֔וּ כִּ֛י לֹא־מָ֥לוּ אֹותָ֖ם בַּדָּֽרֶךְ׃

And their children, whom He had raised up in place of them, these Joshua circumcised; for they were uncircumcised, because they had not circumcised them on the way.

国民都受完了割礼，就住在营中自己的地方，等到痊愈了。

And when they had finished circumcising the whole nation, they remained in their place at the camp until they recovered.

And it came to pass, when they had done circumcising all the people, that they abode in their places in the camp, till they were whole.

And it came to pass when the whole nation had finished being circumcised, that they abode in their place in the camp, till they were whole.

And it cometh to pass when all the nation have completed to be circumcised, that they abide in their places in the camp till their recovering;

Then Jehovah said to Joshua, Today I have rolled away the reproach of Egypt from off you. So the name of that place has been called Gilgal to this day.

And the manna ceased on that day, when they ate of the produce of the land; and there was no longer manna for the children of Israel, but they ate of the yield of the land of Canaan that year.

And the manna ceased on the morrow after they had eaten of the old corn of the land; neither had the children of Israel manna any more; but they did eat of the fruit of the land of Canaan that year.

The manna stopped the day after they ate this food from the land; there was no longer any manna for the Israelites, but that year they ate of the produce of Canaan.

约书亚走近耶利哥的时候，抬头观看，看见一个人站在他对面，手里拿着拔出来的刀。约书亚走到他那里，对他说：“你是我们的人，还是我们的仇敌呢？”

当若苏厄走近耶里哥时，举目一望，看见一个人立在他面前，手持脱鞘的刀。若苏厄走到那人面前问他说：“你是我们的人，还是我们仇敌的人？”

约书亚靠近耶利哥的时候，举目观看，忽见有一个人正在对面站着，手里拿着拔出来的刀；约书亚走到那人跟前，对他说：“你是为我们呢？还是为我们的敌人呢？”

约书亚靠近耶利哥的时候，抬起他的眼睛观看，看哪，有一个人站在他对面，在他手里有拔出来的他自己的刀。约书亚去到他那里，对他说：“你是帮助我们的呢，还是帮助我们的敌人？”

וַיְהִ֗י בִּֽהְיֹ֣ות יְהֹושֻׁעַ֮ בִּירִיחֹו֒ וַיִּשָּׂ֤א עֵינָיו֙ וַיַּ֔רְא וְהִנֵּה־אִישׁ֙ עֹמֵ֣ד לְנֶגְדֹּ֔ו וְחַרְבֹּ֥ו שְׁלוּפָ֖הבְּיָדֹ֑ו וַיֵּ֨לֶךְ יְהֹושֻׁ֤עַ אֵלָיו֙ וַיֹּ֣אמֶר לֹ֔ו הֲלָ֥נוּ אַתָּ֖ה אִם־לְצָרֵֽינוּ׃

Now once, when Joshua was by Jericho, he lifted up his eyes and looked; and behold, there was a man standing opposite him, and His sword was drawn in His hand. And Joshua went to Him and said to Him, Are You for us or for our adversaries?

And it came to pass, when Joshua was by Jericho, that he lifted up his eyes and looked, and, behold, there stood a man over against him with his sword drawn in his hand: and Joshua went unto him, and said unto him, Art thou for us, or for our adversaries?

And it came to pass when Joshua was by Jericho, that he lifted up his eyes and looked, and behold, there stood a man before him with his sword drawn in his hand. And Joshua went to him, and said to him: Art thou for us, or for our enemies?

And it cometh to pass in Joshua's being by Jericho, that he lifteth up his eyes, and looketh, and lo, one standing over-against him, and his drawn sword in his hand, and Joshua goeth unto him, and saith to him, 'Art thou for us or for our adversaries?'

Now when Joshua was near Jericho, he looked up and saw a man standing in front of him with a drawn sword in his hand. Joshua went up to him and asked, "Are you for us or for our enemies?"

祂说，都不是，我现在来，是作耶和华军队的元帅。约书亚就面伏于地下拜，说，我主有什么话告诉仆人？

他回答说：“不是的，我来是要作耶和华军队的元帅。”约书亚就俯伏在地下拜，说：“我主有什么话吩咐仆人？”

那人回答：“不是的；我现在来是作耶和华军队的元帅。”约书亚就脸伏在地，向他下拜，对他说：“我主有什么事要吩咐仆人呢？”

那人回答说：“不，我是上主军旅的元帅，刚来到这里。”若苏厄便俯伏至地，向他下拜说：“我主有什么事要指示自己的仆人呢？”

那人说：“不是的；我现在来、是作为永恒主的军长。”约书亚就脸伏于地拜他，对他说：“我主有什么话吩咐仆人呢？”

他说：“不，我来是要作雅威军队的元帅。”约书亚就把他的脸伏在地下拜，对他说：“我主有什么要吩咐他仆人的？”

וַיֹּ֣אמֶר׀ לֹ֗א כִּ֛י אֲנִ֥י שַׂר־צְבָֽא־יְהוָ֖ה עַתָּ֣ה בָ֑אתִי וַיִּפֹּל֩ יְהֹושֻׁ֨עַ אֶל־פָּנָ֥יו אַ֨רְצָה֙ וַיִּשְׁתָּ֔חוּוַיֹּ֣אמֶר לֹ֔ו מָ֥ה אֲדֹנִ֖י מְדַבֵּ֥ר אֶל־עַבְדֹּֽו׃

And He said, Neither, but as the Captain of Jehovah's army have I now come. Then Joshua fell to the ground upon his face and worshipped. And he said to Him, What does my Lord speak to His servant?

And he said, Nay; but as captain of the host of the LORD am I now come. And Joshua fell on his face to the earth, and did worship, and said unto him, What saith my lord unto his servant?

And he said, No; for [as] captain of the army of Jehovah am I now come. Then Joshua fell upon his face to the earth, and worshipped, and said to him, What saith my lord unto his servant?

And He saith, 'No, for I am Prince of Jehovah's host; now I have come;' and Joshua falleth on his face to the earth, and doth obeisance, and saith to Him, 'What is my Lord speaking unto His servant?'

Neither, he replied, "but as commander of the army of the Lord I have now come." Then Joshua fell facedown to the ground in reverence, and asked him, "What message does my Lord have for his servant?"

耶和华军队的元帅对约书亚说，把你脚上的鞋脱下来，因为你所站的地方是圣的。约书亚就照着行了。

永恒主的军长对约书亚说：“把你脚上的鞋脱下来，因为你所站的地方是圣的。”约书亚就这样行。

雅威军队的元帅对约书亚说：“把你的鞋从你脚上脱下来，因为你站在其上的地方，它是神圣的。”约书亚就照样做。

וַיֹּאמֶר֩ שַׂר־צְבָ֨א יְהוָ֜ה אֶל־יְהֹושֻׁ֗עַ שַׁל־נַֽעַלְךָ֙ מֵעַ֣ל רַגְלֶ֔ךָ כִּ֣י הַמָּקֹ֗ום אֲשֶׁ֥ר אַתָּ֛ה עֹמֵ֥דעָלָ֖יו קֹ֣דֶשׁ ה֑וּא וַיַּ֥עַשׂ יְהֹושֻׁ֖עַ כֵּֽן׃

And the Captain of Jehovah's army said to Joshua, Remove your sandals from your feet, for the place on which you are standing is holy. And Joshua did so.

And the captain of the LORD'S host said unto Joshua, Loose thy shoe from off thy foot; for the place whereon thou standest is holy. And Joshua did so.

And the captain of Jehovah's army said to Joshua, Loose thy sandal from off thy foot: for the place whereon thou standest is holy. And Joshua did so.

And the Prince of Jehovah's host saith unto Joshua, 'Cast off thy shoe from off thy foot, for the place on which thou art standing is holy;' and Joshua doth so;

The commander of the Lord 's army replied, "Take off your sandals, for the place where you are standing is holy." And Joshua did so.
