因我和我的本族被卖了,要被歼毁,杀戮灭绝。我们若仅仅被卖为奴为婢,我也闭口不言,因为不值得叫王因敌人受搅扰。

因我和我的本族被卖了,要剪除杀戮灭绝我们。我们若被卖为奴为婢,我也闭口不言,但王的损失,敌人万不能补足。”

因为我和我的族人被人出卖,快要毁灭,被杀尽、灭绝了。我们若是只被卖为奴婢,我也必闭口不言,但王的损失是敌人不能补偿的。”

因为我和我的民族,已被人出卖,快要遭受蹂躏、屠杀、毁灭。若是我们只被人卖为奴婢,那么我必不开口;但这仇人毫不顾及君王所受的灾害。”

因为我和我本族之民、我们都被出卖、快要被消灭,被屠杀,被灭尽了。我们若只是被卖为奴隶为婢女,我也就闭不作声,但敌人是不会以王的这种损失为满足的(或译:‘但我们的灾难是比下上王所要受的损失的’。此下半节意难确定)。”

于是王在怒中起来,离开酒席往王宫的花园去了;哈曼见王定意要加祸处罚他,就起来,求王后以斯帖救命。

王便大怒,起来离开酒席往御园去了。哈曼见王定意要加罪与他,就起来,求王后以斯帖救命。

于是王带着盛怒,从酒席间起来,到御园里去;哈曼却留下来求王后以斯帖救他一命,因为哈曼看出王已经决意要加罪与他。

于是君王勃然大怒,即刻退席,走进了御苑;哈曼遂起来恳求艾斯德尔后饶他一命,因为他看出了君王已决意要将他置于死地。
吕 
王怒气上冲,就从酒席间起来,往王宫花园去;哈曼见王己经决定要加罪于他,就仍呆着,求王后以斯帖救他的命。
直 
王在他的怒中起身,离开酒席往御园去了。哈曼留下,向王后以斯帖求他的性命,因他见王定意要置他于死地。

And when the king returned from the palace garden into the house of the banquet of wine, Haman was prostrate on the couch where Esther was. Then the king said, Will he even humble the queen in front of me in this house? When the word went forth from the king's mouth, they covered Haman's face.

Then the king returned out of the palace garden into the place of the banquet of wine; and Haman was fallen upon the bed whereon Esther was. Then said the king, Will he force the queen also before me in the house? As the word went out of the king's mouth, they covered Haman's face.

Just as the king returned from the palace garden to the banquet hall, Haman was falling on the couch where Esther was reclining. The king exclaimed, "Will he even molest the queen while she is with me in the house?" As soon as the word left the king's mouth, they covered Haman's face.

在王面前的一个太监哈波拿说,哈曼还为那曾说善言救王的末底改,作了五十肘高的木架,现今立在哈曼家里。王说,把哈曼挂在其上。

伺候王的一个太监名叫哈波拿,说:“哈曼为那救王有功的末底改作了五丈高的木架,现今立在哈曼家里!”王说:“把哈曼挂在其上。”

在王面前有一个太监哈波拿说:“还有,哈曼为那曾经说好话救王有功的末底改,立了一个二十二公尺高的木架,现在正立在哈曼的家里呢。”王说:“把哈曼挂在上面吧!”

君王座前的一个太监哈波纳说:“正巧,在哈曼家里,有他给那位曾一言造福大王的摩尔德开,竖立的一个五十尺高的刑架。”王说:“将他悬在上面!”

在王面前的太监中有一个叫哈波拿的说:“啊,哈曼为那说忠义话来救王的末底改所立那五十肘(一肘约等于一尺半)高的示众木架现在正立在哈曼家里呢。”王说:“把哈曼挂在那上头。”

在王面前伺候的一个太监名叫哈波拿,说:“看哪,哈曼还为…末底改做了木架,那向王说了好话的.立在哈曼家里,有五丈高。”王说:“把他挂在它上面。”
