And on the third day Esther put on her royal robes and stood in the inner court of the king's house, in front of the king's house. And the king was sitting on his royal throne in the royal house, opposite the entrance to the house.

And when the king saw Esther the queen standing in the court, she obtained favor in his sight. And the king held out to Esther his scepter of gold, which was in his hand; and Esther drew near and touched the top of the scepter.

王对她说，王后以斯帖啊，你有什么事？你求什么？就是国的一半，也必赐给你。

王问她：“王后以斯帖啊，你有什么事吗？你求什么？就是一半江山，也必赐给你。”

她体态轻盈，容貌娇艳，令人喜爱；但她此时却心惊胆战。

王对她说：“王后以斯帖啊，你求什么？你要什么？就是到国的一半，也赐给你。”

王对她说：“王后以斯帖啊，妳有什么事？妳所求的，就是国度的一半．也必赐给妳。”

וַיֹּ֤אמֶר לָהּ֙ הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ מַה־לָּ֖ךְ אֶסְתֵּ֣ר הַמַּלְכָּ֑ה וּמַה־בַּקָּשָׁתֵ֛ךְ עַד־חֲצִ֥י הַמַּלְכ֖וּת וְיִנָּ֥תֵֽן לָֽךְ׃

Then the king said to her, What troubles you, Queen Esther? And what is your request? It shall be given to you, even to the half of the kingdom.

Then said the king unto her, What wilt thou, queen Esther? and what is thy request? it shall be even given thee to the half of the kingdom.

And the king said to her, What wilt thou, queen Esther? and what is thy request? it shall be given thee even to the half of the kingdom.

And the king saith to her, 'What -- to thee Esther, O queen? and what thy request? unto the half of the kingdom -- and it is given to thee.'

Then the king asked, "What is it, Queen Esther? What is your request? Even up to half the kingdom, it will be given you."

以斯帖说：“王若以为好，就请王和哈曼今天来赴我为王所预备的筵席。”

以斯帖说：“王若以为美，请王与哈曼今日来．赴我为他所预备的筵席。”

And Esther said, If it please the king, let the king and Haman come today to the banquet I have prepared for him.

And Esther answered, If it seem good unto the king, let the king and Haman come this day unto the banquet that I have prepared for him.

And Esther said, If it seem good to the king, let the king and Haman come this day to the banquet that I have prepared for him.

And Esther saith, 'If unto the king it be good, the king doth come in, and Haman, to-day, unto the banquet that I have made for him;'

If it pleases the king, replied Esther, "let the king, together with Haman, come today to a banquet I have prepared for him."

王说：“快将哈曼召来，好实行以斯帖的话。”于是王和哈曼就去赴以斯帖所预备的筵席。

王说：“快去把哈曼带来．照以斯帖的话做。”于是王与哈曼去赴…筵席。以斯帖所预备的

Then the king said, Bring Haman quickly, so that we may do as Esther says. And the king and Haman came to the banquet that Esther had prepared.

但天主忽然转变了君王的心，使他的态度转为和颜悦色，急忙跑下龙椅，双手把她抱住，及至王后苏醒，王便以温和的言语抚慰她说：

在酒席中王又问以斯帖说：“你求什么？我必赐给你；你要什么？就是到国的一半，也必给你作成。”

在酒席间，王对以斯帖说：“妳所要求的，必赐给妳；妳所求的，就是国度的一半，也必让它(原文用阴性)成就。”

And the king said to Esther during the banquet of wine, What is your petition? And it shall be granted to you. And what is your request? Even to the half of the kingdom it shall be done.

我若在王眼前蒙恩，王若愿意赐我所要的，准我所求的，就请王带着哈曼再赴我所要预备的筵席。明日我必照王所问的说明。”

我若是在王眼前蒙恩，王若是愿意赐给我所要的，成全我所求的，就请王带着哈曼明天再来赴我为你们预备的筵席；明天我必照着王的命令行。”

于是拿起金杖，放在她颈上，且吻她说：“向我说吧！”

我若在王面前蒙恩宠，王若喜欢赐给我所求的，实行我所要的，就请王和哈曼明天来赴我为王所要预备的筵席；明天我就要照王所说的话来明。”

我若在王眼前蒙恩，王若以为美，会赐我所要的，准我所求的，请王与哈曼(再)来赴…筵席。我为他们预备的．明日我必照王的话做。”

אִם־מָצָ֨אתִי חֵ֜ן בְּעֵינֵ֣י הַמֶּ֗לֶךְ וְאִם־עַל־הַמֶּ֨לֶךְ֙ טֹ֔וב לָתֵת֙ אֶת־שְׁאֵ֣לָתִ֔י וְלַעֲשֹׂ֖ותאֶת־בַּקָּשָׁתִ֑י יָבֹ֧וא הַמֶּ֣לֶךְ וְהָמָ֗ן אֶל־הַמִּשְׁתֶּה֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר אֶֽעֱשֶׂ֣ה לָהֶ֔ם וּמָחָ֥ר אֶֽעֱשֶׂ֖ה כִּדְבַ֥ר הַמֶּֽלֶךְ׃

If I have found favor in the king's sight, and if it please the king to grant my petition and do what I request, let the king and Haman come to the banquet that I will prepare for them; and tomorrow I will do as the king says.

If I have found favour in the sight of the king, and if it please the king to grant my petition, and to perform my request, let the king and Haman come to the banquet that I shall prepare for them, and I will do to morrow as the king hath said.

那日哈曼心中欢喜快乐地出来；但见末底改在王门不站起来，也不因他战抖，就满心恼怒末底改。

她答说：“我主，我见了你，好像见了天主的使者；一见你的威仪，我就心神慌乱了。

那一天哈曼出来，心里欢喜高兴；但哈曼一见末底改在御门那里也不站起来，也不因他而颤动一下，哈曼就怒火填胸怒恨末底改。

那日哈曼心中快乐，欢欢喜喜地出来；当他看见末底改在朝门口．不站起来，也不怕他，哈曼就满心恼怒末底改。

וַיֵּצֵ֤א הָמָן֙ בַּיֹּ֣ום הַה֔וּא שָׂמֵ֖חַ וְטֹ֣וב לֵ֑ב וְכִרְאֹות֩ הָמָ֨ן אֶֽת־מָרְדֳּכַ֜י בְּשַׁ֣עַר הַמֶּ֗לֶךְ וְלֹא־קָם֙וְלֹא־זָ֣ע מִמֶּ֔נּוּ וַיִּמָּלֵ֥א הָמָ֛ן עַֽל־מָרְדֳּכַ֖י חֵמָֽה׃

And Haman went out that day joyful and glad in heart; but when Haman saw Mordecai in the king's gate and that he did not arise or tremble because of him, Haman was filled with anger against Mordecai.

But Haman restrained himself and went to his house. And he sent word and had his friends and Zeresh his wife brought to him.

哈曼将他财富之丰厚（同词：荣耀。或译‘豪华’）、他儿女之众多、以及王怎样使他尊大、怎样高升了他超过众官长和王的臣仆们、都叙说给他们听。

哈曼又说：“王后以斯帖没有请别人同王赴她所预备筵席，只请了我；明天也只有我蒙她召请跟王一同去赴宴。

哈曼又说：“…王后以斯帖不许别人随王赴她所预备的筵席，除了我之外，而明日我又被王后邀请随王赴席；

וַיֹּאמֶר֮ הָמָן֒ אַ֣ף לֹא־הֵבִיאָה֩ אֶסְתֵּ֨ר הַמַּלְכָּ֧ה עִם־הַמֶּ֛לֶךְ אֶל־הַמִּשְׁתֶּ֥ה אֲשֶׁר־עָשָׂ֖תָה כִּ֣יאִם־אֹותִ֑י וְגַם־לְמָחָ֛ר אֲנִ֥י קָֽרוּא־לָ֖הּ עִם־הַמֶּֽלֶךְ׃

Haman also said, Even Esther the queen let no one come with the king to the banquet that she had prepared except me, and tomorrow also I am invited by her, together with the king.

Haman said moreover, Yea, Esther the queen did let no man come in with the king unto the banquet that she had prepared but myself; and to morrow am I invited unto her also with the king.

只是每逢我见犹大人末底改坐在王门那里，这一切对我就都没有什么意思。

但我每逢看见那犹大人末底改坐在御门那里，总觉得这一切富贵对于我全都无用。”

只是…这一切都与我无益。”每当我见到．犹大人末底改坐在朝门口，

וְכָל־זֶ֕ה אֵינֶ֥נּוּ שֹׁוֶ֖ה לִ֑י בְּכָל־עֵ֗ת אֲשֶׁ֨ר אֲנִ֤י רֹאֶה֙ אֶת־מָרְדֳּכַ֣י הַיְּהוּדִ֔י יֹושֵׁ֖ב בְּשַׁ֥עַרהַמֶּֽלֶךְ׃

Yet all this means to me nothing as long as I see Mordecai the Jew sitting in the king's gate.

and all this is not profitable to me, during all the time that I am seeing Mordecai the Jew sitting in the gate of the king.'

他的妻子细利斯和他一切的朋友对他说，不如叫人作一个五十肘高的木架，明早求王将末底改挂在其上，然后你可以欢欢喜喜地随王赴席。哈曼以这话为美，就叫人作了木架。

Then Zeresh his wife and all his friends said to him, Let a gallows be made fifty cubits high, and in the morning ask the king to have Mordecai hanged on it; then go with the king to the banquet rejoicing. And the word seemed good to Haman, and he had the gallows made.

His wife Zeresh and all his friends said to him, "Have a gallows built, seventy-five feet high, and ask the king in the morning to have Mordecai hanged on it. Then go with the king to the dinner and be happy." This suggestion delighted Haman, and he had the gallows built.

艾斯德尔答说：“若大王开恩，请大王今日与哈曼同去饮妾为陛下所预备的酒宴。”
