In the seventh year of Jehu, Jehoash began to reign; and he reigned forty years in Jerusalem. And his mother's name was Zibiah of Beer-sheba.

And Jehoash did what was right in the sight of Jehovah all the days in which Jehoiada the priest instructed him.

约阿施对众祭司说，凡奉到耶和华殿分别为圣之物中的银子──每一个经过数点之人当纳的银子，各人被估的身价，或各人心中起意要奉到耶和华殿的银子──

约阿施对众祭司说：“凡奉到耶和华殿分别为圣之物所值通用的银子，或各人当纳的身价，或乐意奉到耶和华殿的银子，

约阿施对众祭司说：“所有分别为圣，奉到耶和华殿里的银子，或是各被数点之人的赎价，或是各种的赎价，或是各人随着心意，奉到耶和华殿里的银子，

只是没有废除高丘，人民仍在高丘上焚香献祭。

约阿施对祭司们说：“凡奉进永恒主的殿分别为圣之物所值的银子、无论是各人被估价的银子、就是人身被估价的银子，或是人心里起意要奉进永恒主之殿的银子，

(原文12:5)约阿施对众祭司说：“凡奉到雅威的殿分别为圣的银子，即通用的银子，(不论是)各人按他的估价的(赎)生命的银子、(或)所有…银子，从各人心里(乐意)奉到雅威殿的

רַ֥ק הַבָּמֹ֖ות לֹא־סָ֑רוּ עֹ֥וד הָעָ֛ם מְזַבְּחִ֥ים וּֽמְקַטְּרִ֖ים בַּבָּמֹֽות׃

And Jehoash said to the priests, All the money of the sanctified things which goes into the house of Jehovah — the money of everyone who passes through the numbering, the money of each person's assessment, and all the money that comes up in the heart of anyone to bring into the house of Jehovah —

And Jehoash said to the priests, All the money of the dedicated things that is brought into the house of the LORD, even the money of every one that passeth the account, the money that every man is set at, and all the money that cometh into any man's heart to bring into the house of the LORD,

And Jehoash said to the priests, All the money of the hallowed things that is brought into the house of Jehovah, the money of every one that passes [the account], the money at which every man is valued, [and] all the money that comes into any man's heart to bring into the house of Jehovah,

And Jehoash saith unto the priests, 'All the money of the sanctified things that is brought in to the house of Jehovah, the money of him who is passing over, each the money of his valuation, all the money that it goeth up on the heart of a man to bring in to the house of Jehovah,

Joash said to the priests, "Collect all the money that is brought as sacred offerings to the temple of the Lord -the money collected in the census, the money received from personal vows and the money brought voluntarily to the temple.

祭司都要收来，各从所熟识的人去收，来修理圣殿破坏之处，修理见有破坏的一切地方。”

(原文12:6)让他们从各人所认识的人收取，他们就可以去修理殿的破裂处，就是在那里所能找到的一切破裂处。

Let the priests take, each man from his acquaintance; and they shall repair what is broken in the house, wherever anything is found broken.

无奈到了约阿施王二十三年，祭司仍未修理殿的破损之处。

无奈到了约阿施王二十三年、祭司仍未修理圣殿破坏的地方。

(原文12:7)但是到了约阿施王二十三年，祭司仍未修理殿的破裂处。

יִקְח֤וּ לָהֶם֙ הַכֹּ֣הֲנִ֔ים אִ֖ישׁ מֵאֵ֣ת מַכָּרֹ֑ו וְהֵ֗ם יְחַזְּקוּ֙ אֶת־בֶּ֣דֶק הַבַּ֔יִת לְכֹ֛ל אֲשֶׁר־יִמָּצֵ֥א שָׁ֖םבָּֽדֶק׃ פ

But as of the twenty-third year of King Jehoash, the priests had not repaired what was broken in the house.

But it was so, that in the three and twentieth year of king Jehoash the priests had not repaired the breaches of the house.

And it was [so that] in the twenty-third year of king Jehoash, the priests had not repaired the breaches of the house.

And it cometh to pass, in the twenty and third year of king Jehoash, the priests have not strengthened the breach of the house,

But by the twenty-third year of King Joash the priests still had not repaired the temple.

所以约阿施王召了大祭司耶何耶大和众祭司来，对他们说，你们怎么不修理殿的破损之处呢？从今以后，你们不要从所认识的人再收银子，要将所收的交出来，用以修理殿的破损之处。

但是，直到约阿士王第二十三年，司祭尚未修理圣殿的破坏之处。

于是约阿施王把祭司耶何耶大和祭司们召了来，对他们说：“你们怎么不修理圣殿破坏的地方呢？现在你们不要再从熟识的人收银子了，乃要将所收的交出来，作修理破坏殿的破坏地方之用。”

(原文12:8)约阿施王召了祭司耶何耶大和众祭司来，对他们说：“你们为何不修理殿的破裂处呢？现在，不可(再)从你们所认识的人收银子，要把它交出来，(修理)殿的破裂处。”

וַיְהִ֗י בִּשְׁנַ֨ת עֶשְׂרִ֧ים וְשָׁלֹ֛שׁ שָׁנָ֖ה לַמֶּ֣לֶךְ יְהֹואָ֑שׁ לֹֽא־חִזְּק֥וּ הַכֹּהֲנִ֖ים אֶת־בֶּ֥דֶק הַבָּֽיִת׃

So King Jehoash summoned Jehoiada the priest and the priests and said to them, Why have you not been repairing what is broken in the house? Now therefore take no more money from your acquaintances, but deliver it for what is broken in the house.

Then king Jehoash called for Jehoiada the priest, and the other priests, and said unto them, Why repair ye not the breaches of the house? now therefore receive no more money of your acquaintance, but deliver it for the breaches of the house.

Then king Jehoash called for Jehoiada the priest, and the priests, and said to them, Why have ye not repaired the breaches of the house? And now receive no money of your acquaintances, but give it for the breaches of the house.

and king Jehoash calleth to Jehoiada the priest, and to the priests, and saith unto them, 'Wherefore are ye not strengthening the breach of the house? and now, receive no money from your acquaintances, but for the breach of the house give it.'

Therefore King Joash summoned Jehoiada the priest and the other priests and asked them, "Why aren't you repairing the damage done to the temple? Take no more money from your treasurers, but hand it over for repairing the temple."

众祭司答应不再从百姓收银子，也不修理殿的破损之处。

祭司就答应不再从人民收银子，也不修理圣殿破坏的地方。

וַיִּקְרָא֩ הַמֶּ֨לֶךְ יְהֹואָ֜שׁ לִיהֹויָדָ֤ע הַכֹּהֵן֙ וְלַכֹּ֣הֲנִ֔ים וַיֹּ֣אמֶר אֲלֵהֶ֔ם מַדּ֛וּעַ אֵינְכֶ֥ם מְחַזְּקִ֖יםאֶת־בֶּ֣דֶק הַבָּ֑יִת וְעַתָּ֗ה אַל־תִּקְחוּ־כֶ֨סֶף֙ מֵאֵ֣ת מַכָּֽרֵיכֶ֔ם כִּֽי־לְבֶ֥דֶק הַבַּ֖יִת תִּתְּנֻֽהוּ׃

And the priests agreed that they would neither take money from the people nor repair what was broken in the house.

And the priests consented to receive no more money of the people, neither to repair the breaches of the house.

And the priests consented to receive no money of the people, and that they should only repair the breaches of the house.

And the priests consent not to receive money from the people, nor to strengthen the breach of the house,

The priests agreed that they would not collect any more money from the people and that they would not repair the temple themselves.

祭司耶何耶大取了一个柜子，在柜盖上钻了一个洞孔，放于坛旁，在进耶和华殿的右边；守门的祭司将奉到耶和华殿的一切银子投在柜里。

司祭们就同意不再向人民收钱，也不再负责修理圣殿的破坏之处。

祭司耶何耶大就取了一个柜子，在柜门上钻了一个窟窿，放在柱（传统：祭坛）旁，在人进永恒主之殿南边；把守门槛的祭司将奉进永恒主之殿的一切银子都投在那里。

(原文12:10)祭司耶何耶大取了一个柜子，在它的盖子上钻了一个洞，把它放在祭坛旁，在一个人进入雅威殿时的右边；守门的祭司将…投在那里。奉到雅威殿的一切银子

וַיֵּאֹ֖תוּ הַכֹּֽהֲנִ֑ים לְבִלְתִּ֤י קְחַת־כֶּ֨סֶף֙ מֵאֵ֣ת הָעָ֔ם וּלְבִלְתִּ֥י חַזֵּ֖ק אֶת־בֶּ֥דֶק הַבָּֽיִת׃

Then Jehoiada the priest took a chest and bored a hole in its lid, and he put it beside the altar, on the right side as one comes into the house of Jehovah. And the priests who guarded the threshold put all the money that came into the house of Jehovah into it.

But Jehoiada the priest took a chest, and bored a hole in the lid of it, and set it beside the altar, on the right side as one cometh into the house of the LORD: and the priests that kept the door put therein all the money that was brought into the house of the LORD.

Jehoiada the priest took a chest and bored a hole in its lid. He placed it beside the altar, on the right side as one enters the temple of the Lord . The priests who guarded the entrance put into the chest all the money that was brought to the temple of the Lord .

他们见柜里的银子多了，便叫王的书记和大祭司上来，将耶和华殿里所得的银子包起来，加以数算。

(原文12:11)当他们看见柜里的银子很多的时候，便叫王的书记和大祭司上来，将雅威殿里所找到的银子包起来并数算。

וַיִּקַּ֞ח יְהֹויָדָ֤ע הַכֹּהֵן֙ אֲרֹ֣ון אֶחָ֔ד וַיִּקֹּ֥ב חֹ֖ר בְּדַלְתֹּ֑ו וַיִּתֵּ֣ן אֹתֹו֩ אֵ֨צֶל הַמִּזְבֵּ֜חַ בַּיָּמִיןבְּבֹֽוא־אִישׁ֙ בֵּ֣ית יְהוָ֔ה וְנָֽתְנוּ־שָׁ֤מָּה הַכֹּֽהֲנִים֙ שֹׁמְרֵ֣י הַסַּ֔ף אֶת־כָּל־הַכֶּ֖סֶף הַמּוּבָ֥א בֵית־יְהוָֽה׃

And whenever they saw that there was a large amount of money in the chest, the king's scribe and the high priest would go up and bind the money that was found in the house of Jehovah in bags and count it.

And it was so, when they saw that there was much money in the chest, that the king's scribe and the high priest came up, and they put up in bags, and told the money that was found in the house of the LORD.

And it came to pass when they saw that there was much money in the chest, that the king's scribe and the high priest came up, and they tied up and counted the money that was found in the house of Jehovah.

And it cometh to pass, at their seeing that the money is abundant in the chest, that there goeth up a scribe of the king, and of the high priest, and they bind it up, and count the money that is found in the house of Jehovah,

Whenever they saw that there was a large amount of money in the chest, the royal secretary and the high priest came, counted the money that had been brought into the temple of the Lord and put it into bags.

把所称的银子交给办事的，就是耶和华殿里督工的人；督工的人把银子支付给修理耶和华殿的木匠和建筑工，

把所平的银子交给督工的，就是耶和华殿里办事的人。他们把银子转交修理耶和华殿的木匠和工人，

他们把所称的银子交在耶和华殿中管理工匠的监工手里，然后他们支付给在耶和华殿作工的木匠和建筑工人，

几时看见箱内的钱够多了，君王的秘书和大司祭就上来，把钱倒出，数点上主殿内所有的银钱。

把所平的银子交在办事的人、永恒主殿里监工的人、手里，让他们支给照料永恒主之殿的木匠和建筑的人，

וַֽיְהִי֙ כִּרְאֹותָ֔ם כִּֽי־רַ֥ב הַכֶּ֖סֶף בָּֽאָרֹ֑ון וַיַּ֨עַל סֹפֵ֤ר הַמֶּ֨לֶךְ֙ וְהַכֹּהֵ֣ן הַגָּדֹ֔ול וַיָּצֻ֨רוּ֙ וַיִּמְנ֔וּאֶת־הַכֶּ֖סֶף הַנִּמְצָ֥א בֵית־יְהוָֽה׃

And they would give the money that was weighed out into the hands of those who did the work, who had the oversight of the house of Jehovah; and these would pay it out to the carpenters and the builders who worked on the house of Jehovah,

And they gave the money, being told, into the hands of them that did the work, that had the oversight of the house of the LORD: and they laid it out to the carpenters and builders, that wrought upon the house of the LORD,

And they gave the money, weighed out into the hands of them that did the work, who were appointed over the house of Jehovah; and they laid it out to the carpenters and builders that wrought upon the house of Jehovah,

and have given the weighed money into the hands of those doing the work, those inspecting the house of Jehovah, and they bring it out to those working in the wood, and to builders who are working in the house of Jehovah,

When the amount had been determined, they gave the money to the men appointed to supervise the work on the temple. With it they paid those who worked on the temple of the Lord -the carpenters and builders,

并支付给泥水匠和石匠，又用以买木料和凿成的石头，修理耶和华殿的破损之处，并支付修理殿的各样开支。

(原文12:13)和瓦匠、和石匠，又买木料和凿成的石头，补强雅威殿的破裂处，并作整修殿的各项开销。

וְנָתְנוּ֙ אֶת־הַכֶּ֣סֶף הַֽמְתֻכָּ֔ן עַל־יַד עֹשֵׂ֣י הַמְּלָאכָ֔ה הַפְּקֻדִים בֵּ֣ית יְהוָ֑ה וַיֹּוצִיאֻ֜הוּ לְחָרָשֵׁ֤יהָעֵץ֙ וְלַבֹּנִ֔ים הָעֹשִׂ֖ים בֵּ֥ית יְהוָֽה׃

And to the masons and to the stone hewers and for the purchase of timber and hewn stone, to repair what was broken in the house of Jehovah, and for any other outlay to repair the house.

And to masons, and hewers of stone, and to buy timber and hewed stone to repair the breaches of the house of the LORD, and for all that was laid out for the house to repair it.

the masons and stonecutters. They purchased timber and dressed stone for the repair of the temple of the Lord , and met all the other expenses of restoring the temple.

但那奉到耶和华殿的银子，没有用以作耶和华殿里的银杯、灯剪、碗、号或任何金银器皿；

但那奉到耶和华殿的银子，没有用以作耶和华殿里的银杯、蜡剪、碗、号和别样的金银器皿，

但耶和华殿里的银杯、烛剪、碗、号或任何金银器皿，都没有用奉到耶和华殿里的银子来做。

泥水匠和石匠，或购买木料和凿刻好的石头，用来修补上主殿内的破坏之处；总之，用来作为修理圣殿的费用。

不过奉进永恒主之殿的银子并没有用来作永恒主殿里的银碗盆、蜡烛剪子、碗、号筒、和各样金器银器，

(原文12:14)…没有用以做雅威殿里的银杯、镊子、碗、号，和各样的金器皿和银器皿，但那奉到雅威殿的银子．

וְלַגֹּֽדְרִים֙ וּלְחֹצְבֵ֣י הָאֶ֔בֶן וְלִקְנֹ֤ות עֵצִים֙ וְאַבְנֵ֣י מַחְצֵ֔ב לְחַזֵּ֖ק אֶת־בֶּ֣דֶק בֵּית־יְהוָ֑ה וּלְכֹ֛לאֲשֶׁר־יֵצֵ֥א עַל־הַבַּ֖יִת לְחָזְקָֽה׃

But there were no cups of silver, snuffers, basins, trumpets, or any vessels of gold or any vessels of silver prepared for the house of Jehovah out of the money that was brought into the house of Jehovah;

Howbeit there were not made for the house of the LORD bowls of silver, snuffers, basons, trumpets, any vessels of gold, or vessels of silver, of the money that was brought into the house of the LORD:

However there were not made for the house of Jehovah basons of silver, knives, bowls, trumpets, nor any utensil of gold or utensil of silver, of the money that was brought [into] the house of Jehovah;

Only, there is not made for the house of Jehovah basins of silver, snuffers, bowls, trumpets, any vessel of gold, and vessel of silver, out of the money that is brought into the house of Jehovah;

The money brought into the temple was not spent for making silver basins, wick trimmers, sprinkling bowls, trumpets or any other articles of gold or silver for the temple of the Lord ;

乃将那银子交给办事的人，用以修理耶和华的殿。

约阿施其余的事，凡他所行的，岂不都写在犹大诸王记上么？
