Since Christ therefore has suffered in the flesh, you also arm yourselves with the same mind (because he who has suffered in the flesh has ceased from sin),

Forasmuch then as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind: for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin;

Christ, then, having suffered for us in [the] flesh, do *ye* also arm yourselves with the same mind; for he that has suffered in [the] flesh has done with sin,

For the time which has passed is sufficient for you to have carried out the desire of the Gentiles, having gone on in licentiousness, lusts, debaucheries, carousings, drinking bouts, and lawless idolatries.

Beloved, do not think that the fiery ordeal among you, coming to you for a trial, is strange, as if it were a strange thing happening to you;

Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you:

Beloved, take not [as] strange the fire [of persecution] which has taken place amongst you for [your] trial, as if a strange thing was happening to you;

Beloved, think it not strange at the fiery suffering among you that is coming to try you, as if a strange thing were happening to you,

Dear friends, do not be surprised at the painful trial you are suffering, as though something strange were happening to you.

倒要照着你们有分于基督苦难的多少而欢乐,使你们在祂荣耀显现的时候,也可以喜乐欢腾。

If you are reproached in the name of Christ, you are blessed, because the Spirit of glory and of God rests upon you.

R
For it is time for the judgment to begin from the house of God; and if first from us, what will be the end of those who disobey the gospel of God?

For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?

For the time of having the judgment begin from the house of God [is come]; but if first from us, what [shall be] the end of those who obey not the glad tidings of God?

because it is the time of the beginning of the judgment from the house of God, and if first from us, what the end of those disobedient to the good news of God?

For it is time for judgment to begin with the family of God; and if it begins with us, what will the outcome be for those who do not obey the gospel of God?

And if the righteous man is saved only with difficulty, where will the ungodly and the sinner appear?

And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear?

And if the righteous is difficultly saved, where shall the impious and [the] sinner appear?

And if the righteous man is scarcely saved, the ungodly and sinner -- where shall he appear?

所以那照神旨意受苦的人,也要在善行上,将他们的魂交与那信实的创造主。
