Συνεργοῦντες δὲ καὶ παρακαλοῦμεν μὴ εἰς κενὸν τὴν χάριν τοῦ θεοῦ δέξασθαι ὑμᾶς·

And working together with Him, we also entreat you not to receive the grace of God in vain;

We then, as workers together with him, beseech you also that ye receive not the grace of God in vain.

But [as] fellow-workmen, we also beseech that ye receive not the grace of God in vain:

And working together also we call upon you that ye receive not in vain the grace of God --

As God's fellow workers we urge you not to receive God's grace in vain.

For He says, "In an acceptable time I listened to you, and in the day of salvation I helped you." Behold, now is the well-acceptable time; behold, now is the day of salvation.

我们凡事都不使人绊跌,免得这职事被人挑剔,

我们凡事都不叫人有妨碍,免得这职分被人毁谤,

我们凡事都没有妨碍人,不让这职分受到毁谤,

我们在任何事上,为避免这职务受诋毁,不但没有给任何人趺倒的因由,

在任何事上、对任何人、我们都没有引起碰倒人的因由,免得这执事的职分受挑剔。

我们不在任何事上妨碍任何人,免得这事奉被人毁谤;

μηδεμίαν ἐν μηδενὶ διδόντες προσκοπήν, ἵνα μὴ μωμηθῇ ἡ διακονία,

We give no occasion of stumbling in anything that the ministry may not be faulted,

Giving no offence in any thing, that the ministry be not blamed:

giving no manner of offence in anything, that the ministry be not blamed;

in nothing giving any cause of offence, that the ministration may be not blamed,

We put no stumbling block in anyone's path, so that our ministry will not be discredited.

Do not become dissimilarly yoked with unbelievers. For what partnership do righteousness and lawlessness have? Or what fellowship does light have with darkness?

Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?

And what agreement does the temple of God have with idols? For we are the temple of the living God, even as God said, "I will dwell among them and walk among them; and I will be their God, and they will be My people."

And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

and what agreement of God's temple with idols? for *ye* are [the] living God's temple; according as God has said, I will dwell among them, and walk among [them]; and I will be their God, and they shall be to me a people.

and what agreement to the sanctuary of God with idols? for ye are a sanctuary of the living God, according as God said -- 'I will dwell in them, and will walk among them, and I will be their God, and they shall be My people,

What agreement is there between the temple of God and idols? For we are the temple of the living God. As God has said: "I will live with them and walk among them, and I will be their God, and they will be my people."

Therefore "come out from their midst and be separated, says the Lord, and do not touch what is unclean; and I will welcome you";

Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,

"And I will be a Father to you, and you will be sons and daughters to Me, says the Lord Almighty."
