אֶל־חִכְּךָ֣ שֹׁפָ֔ר כַּנֶּ֖שֶׁר עַל־בֵּ֣ית יְהוָ֑ה יַ֚עַן עָבְר֣וּ בְרִיתִ֔י וְעַל־תֹּורָתִ֖י פָּשָֽׁעוּ׃

A trumpet to your lips! / Like an eagle he comes against the house of Jehovah, / Because they have trespassed My covenant / And have transgressed against My law.

Set the trumpet to thy mouth. He shall come as an eagle against the house of the LORD, because they have transgressed my covenant, and trespassed against my law.

Your calf has cast you off, O Samaria; / My anger burns against them. / How long will they be incapable of innocence?

For from Israel is this! / A workman made it; / Thus it is no God. / The calf of Samaria / Will be shattered to pieces.

他们所种的是风，所收的是旋风。所种的不成禾稼，就是发苗也产不出面，即便产出，外人也必吞吃。

Israel has been swallowed up; / Now they have become among the nations / Like a vessel in which no one takes pleasure.

For they have gone up to Assyria / Like a wild ass gone alone by itself; / Ephraim has hired lovers.

他们虽在列邦中雇了这样的人，现在我却要聚集他们；他们因君王和首领所加的重担，必渐渐衰微。

Indeed though they have hired such among the nations, / I will now gather them; / And they will begin to be diminished because of the burden / Of the king of the princes.

以法莲筑了许多祭坛取罪，因此，祭坛使他犯罪。

以法莲增添好些祭坛去犯罪，这些就成了他们犯罪的祭坛。

厄弗辣因建筑了许多祭坛，但这些祭坛为他们却只有犯罪的用途。

Because Ephraim has multiplied altars for sin, / Altars will be to him for sin.

我为他写了律法万条，却被看如外人的事。

虽然我为他们写了许多法律，却被看作陌生人的废话。

就使我为他写了我的律法千万条，他还是要看为外族人的事呀。

אֶכתֹוב לֹ֔ו רִבֹּו תֹּֽורָתִ֑י כְּמֹו־זָ֖ר נֶחְשָֽׁבוּ׃

I wrote for him the ten thousand things of My law, / But they are considered as a strange thing.

I have written to him the great things of my law, but they were counted as a strange thing.

I have prescribed unto him the manifold things of my law: they are counted [as] a strange thing.

I write for him numerous things of My law, As a strange thing they have been reckoned.

I wrote for them the many things of my law, but they regarded them as something alien.

至于献给我的祭物，他们虽然宰献祭牲并吃祭肉，耶和华却不悦纳他们。现在祂必想起他们的罪孽，惩罚他们的罪；他们必归回埃及。

זִבְחֵ֣י הַבְהָבַ֗י יִזְבְּח֤וּ בָשָׂר֙ וַיֹּאכֵ֔לוּ יְהוָ֖ה לֹ֣א רָצָ֑ם עַתָּ֞ה יִזְכֹּ֤ר עֲוֹנָם֙ וְיִפְקֹ֣ד חַטֹּאותָ֔ם הֵ֖מָּהמִצְרַ֥יִם יָשֽׁוּבוּ׃

As for the sacrifices of My offerings, / They sacrifice flesh and eat it, / But Jehovah has no delight in them. / Now He will remember their iniquity, / And He will punish their sins; / They will return to Egypt.

They sacrifice flesh for the sacrifices of mine offerings, and eat it; but the LORD accepteth them not; now will he remember their iniquity, and visit their sins: they shall return to Egypt.

They offer sacrifices given to me and they eat the meat, but the Lord is not pleased with them. Now he will remember their wickedness and punish their sins: They will return to Egypt.

For Israel has forgotten his Maker / And has built palaces, / And Judah has multiplied fortified cities; / But I will send fire into his cities, / And it will devour its citadels.
