他们来到耶路撒冷上帝之殿的地址第二年、第二月、撒拉铁的儿子所罗巴伯、约萨达的儿子耶书亚、和其余的族弟兄、就是祭司和利未人、跟一切被掳中回到耶路撒冷的人、就开了工；都兴工建造；又派立了利未人、从二十岁和以上的、来监管永恒主之殿的工程。

他们到达耶路撒冷神殿的第二年，二月的时候，撒拉铁的儿子所罗巴伯，…开了工；和约萨达的儿子耶书亚和其余的弟兄，祭司、和利未人，和一切从流亡归回到耶路撒冷的人．他们派利未人，二十岁和超过(二十岁)的人，督理雅威的殿的工作。

Now in the second year after they came to the house of God at Jerusalem, in the second month, Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel and Jeshua the son of Jozadak and the rest of their brothers, the priests and the Levites, and all those who came out of captivity to Jerusalem began by appointing the Levites, from twenty years old and upward, to have oversight over the work of the house of Jehovah.

Now in the second year of their coming unto the house of God at Jerusalem, in the second month, began Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, and Jeshua the son of Jozadak, and the remnant of their brethren the priests and the Levites, and all they that were come out of the captivity unto Jerusalem; and appointed the Levites, from twenty years old and upward, to set forward the work of the house of the LORD.

In the second month of the second year after their arrival at the house of God in Jerusalem, Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel, Jeshua son of Jozadak and the rest of their brothers (the priests and the Levites and all who had returned from the captivity to Jerusalem) began the work, appointing Levites twenty years of age and older to supervise the building of the house of the Lord .

耶叔亚和他的儿子们，以及他的兄弟们，卡德米耳和他的儿子们，以及曷达委雅的后裔，同心协力，监督那建筑天主殿宇的工人；还有赫纳达得的儿子们，以及他们的儿子和弟兄肋未人。

于是耶书亚的子孙和族弟兄、甲篾和他的子孙、犹大（拉2：40作何达威雅）的子孙、都站起来，一同负责监管在上帝殿里作工的人：利未人希拿达的子孙和族弟兄、也都这样作。

于是耶书亚和他的子孙与他的兄弟，…都起来，甲篾和他的子孙，就是犹大的后裔，如同一人，督理那在神殿做工的人。(还有)希拿达的众子、他们的子孙与他们的兄弟，就是利未人。

Then Jeshua stood with his sons and his brothers, as one man, with Kadmiel and his sons, the sons of Judah, and with the sons of Henadad and their sons and their brothers the Levites, to have oversight over the workmen in the house of God.

Jeshua and his sons and brothers and Kadmiel and his sons (descendants of Hodaviah ) and the sons of Henadad and their sons and brothers-all Levites-joined together in supervising those working on the house of God.

匠人立耶和华殿根基的时候，百姓首领所派的祭司穿着礼服吹号，亚萨的子孙利未人敲钹，照以色列王大卫所指定的，都站着赞美耶和华。

工人们安放上主殿宇基础时，司祭身穿礼服，拿着号筒，阿撒夫的后裔肋未人拿着铙钹，各站在自己的地方，以色列王达味制定的仪式，赞美上主，

建筑的人立永恒主殿堂根基的时候、祭司穿着礼服、拿着号筒，亚萨的子孙利未人拿着响钹，都站着，赞美永恒主，照以色列王大卫所手定的。

匠人为雅威的殿立根基的时候，祭司都穿礼服站着吹号，亚萨的子孙利未人敲钹．赞美雅威，是照以色列王大卫的手(意思是所定的例)。

וְיִסְּד֥וּ הַבֹּנִ֖ים אֶת־הֵיכַ֣ל יְהוָ֑ה וַיַּעֲמִידוּ֩ הַכֹּהֲנִ֨ים מְלֻבָּשִׁ֜ים בַּחֲצֹֽצְרֹ֗ות וְהַלְוִיִּ֤ם בְּנֵֽי־אָסָף֙בַּֽמְצִלְתַּ֔יִם לְהַלֵּל֙ אֶת־יְהוָ֔ה עַל־יְדֵ֖י דָּוִ֥יד מֶֽלֶךְ־יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃

And when the builders laid the foundation of the temple of Jehovah, they set the priests in their apparel with trumpets and the Levites, the sons of Asaph, with cymbals, to praise Jehovah according to the directions of David the king of Israel.

And those building have founded the temple of Jehovah, and they appoint the priests, clothed, with trumpets, and the Levites, sons of Asaph, with cymbals, to praise Jehovah, by means of the instruments of David king of Israel.

When the builders laid the foundation of the temple of the Lord , the priests in their vestments and with trumpets, and the Levites (the sons of Asaph) with cymbals, took their places to praise the Lord , as prescribed by David king of Israel.

他们彼此唱和、赞美称谢永恒主、说：“因为他至善；他向以色列人所施的坚爱永远长存。”他们赞美永恒主的时候、众民都大声欢呼、庆祝永恒主之殿的根基已经立定。

他们赞美称谢雅威的时候，唱和说：祂本为善，祂的慈爱向以色列存到永远。…众民大声呼喊，(他们)赞美雅威的时候，因雅威殿的根基已经立定。

וַֽ֠יַּעֲנוּ בְּהַלֵּ֨ל וּבְהֹודֹ֤ת לַֽיהוָה֙ כִּ֣י טֹ֔וב כִּֽי־לְעֹולָ֥ם חַסְדֹּ֖ו עַל־יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל וְכָל־הָעָ֡ם הֵרִיעוּ֩תְרוּעָה֙ גְדֹולָ֤ה בְהַלֵּל֙ לַֽיהוָ֔ה עַ֖ל הוּסַ֥ד בֵּית־יְהוָֽה׃ ס

And they sang to one another in praising and giving thanks to Jehovah, saying, For He is good, for His lovingkindness is forever upon Israel. And all the people shouted with a great shout when they praised Jehovah, because the foundation of the house of Jehovah was laid.

许多曾在这地基上，亲眼见过先前的圣殿的老司祭、老肋未人和老族长，面对这座圣殿，不禁放声大哭，却也有许多人欢喜高呼，

但是有许多祭司中的人和利未人、以及父系的族长、那些曾经见过先前的殿奠基的、老年人、如今看见这样的殿在眼前，便大声哭号；不过也有许多人提高了声音、欢喜快乐地呼喊；

然而有许多祭司、和利未人、和父家的领袖，就是见过第一个殿的老年人，用他们的眼睛(看见)这殿立根基，便大声哭号，也有许多人抬高声音呼喊欢呼，

וְרַבִּ֡ים מֵהַכֹּהֲנִ֣ים וְהַלְוִיִּם֩ וְרָאשֵׁ֨י הָאָבֹ֜ות הַזְּקֵנִ֗ים אֲשֶׁ֨ר רָא֜וּ אֶת־הַבַּ֤יִת הָֽרִאשֹׁון֙ בְּיָסְדֹ֔וזֶ֤ה הַבַּ֨יִת֙ בְּעֵ֣ינֵיהֶ֔ם בֹּכִ֖ים בְּקֹ֣ול גָּדֹ֑ול וְרַבִּ֛ים בִּתְרוּעָ֥ה בְשִׂמְחָ֖ה לְהָרִ֥ים קֹֽול׃

But many of the priests and Levites and heads of fathers' houses, the old men who had seen the first house, wept with a loud voice when the foundation of this house was laid before their eyes; and many shouted aloud for joy,

וְאֵ֣ין הָעָ֗ם מַכִּירִים֙ קֹ֚ול תְּרוּעַ֣ת הַשִּׂמְחָ֔ה לְקֹ֖ול בְּכִ֣י הָעָ֑ם כִּ֣י הָעָ֗ם מְרִיעִים֙ תְּרוּעָ֣הגְדֹולָ֔ה וְהַקֹּ֥ול נִשְׁמַ֖ע עַד־לְמֵרָחֹֽוק׃ פ

So that the people could not discern the sound of the shout of joy from the sound of the weeping of the people; for the people shouted with a loud shout, and the sound was heard far away.
