我的弟兄们,你们既相信我们荣耀的主耶稣基督,便不可按着外貌待人。

我的弟兄们,你们既然对我们荣耀的主耶稣基督有信心,就不应该凭外貌待人。

我的弟兄们,你们既信仰我们已受光荣的主耶稣基督,就不该按外貌待人。

我的弟兄们,你们执守我们的主、荣耀的主、耶稣基督的信仰、别以貌取人了。

我的弟兄们啊,(你们)不可在偏袒中,你们要有信心.(对)我们的主-荣耀的耶稣基督。

Ἀδελφοί μου, μὴ ἐν προσωπολημψίαις ἔχετε τὴν πίστιν τοῦ κυρίου ἡμῶν Ἰησοῦ Χριστοῦ τῆς δόξης.

My brothers, do not hold the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ of glory with respect of persons.

若有一个人戴着金戒指,穿着华丽衣服,进你们的会堂去,又有一个穷人,穿着肮脏衣服也进去;

若有一个人戴着金戒指,穿着华美衣服,进你们的会堂去,又有一个穷人,穿着肮脏衣服也进去;

如果有一个手戴金戒指、身穿华丽衣服的人,进入你们的会堂;又有一个衣衫褴褛的穷人,也进去了。

如果有一个人,戴着金戒指,穿着华美的衣服,进入你们的会堂,同时一个衣服肮脏的穷人也进来,

倘若有人带着金戒指、穿着华丽衣服、进你们的会堂来;又有穷人穿着垢污衣服、也进来。

ἐὰν γὰρ εἰσέλθῃ εἰς συναγωγὴν ὑμῶν ἀνὴρ χρυσοδακτύλιος ἐν ἐσθῆτι λαμπρᾷ, εἰσέλθῃ δὲ καὶ πτωχὸς ἐν ῥυπαρᾷ ἐσθῆτι,

For if there comes into your synagogue a man with gold rings in splendid clothing, and there also comes in a poor man in filthy clothing,

For if there come unto your assembly a man with a gold ring, in goodly apparel, and there come in also a poor man in vile raiment;

for if there come unto your synagogue a man with a gold ring in splendid apparel, and a poor man also come in in vile apparel,

然而你们尊敬穿闪亮衣服的人且说:“你请坐这好的(位子)”,又对那穷人说:“你(韦:站着或坐那里)(联:站那里或坐)在我的脚凳下”,

ἐπιβλέψητε δὲ ἐπὶ τὸν φοροῦντα τὴν ἐσθῆτα τὴν λαμπρὰν καὶ εἴπητε, Σὺ κάθου ὧδε καλῶς, καὶ τῷ πτωχῷ εἴπητε, Σὺ στῆθι ἢ κάθου ἐκεῖ ὑπὸ τὸ ὑποπόδιόν μου,

And you look upon the one wearing the splendid clothing and say, You sit here in a good place, and to the poor man you say, You stand there, or sit under my footstool;

And ye have respect to him that weareth the gay clothing, and say unto him, Sit thou here in a good place; and say to the poor, Stand thou there, or sit here under my footstool:

and ye look upon him who wears the splendid apparel, and say, Do thou sit here well, and say to the poor, Do thou stand there, or sit here under my footstool:

and ye may look upon him bearing the gay raiment, and may say to him, 'Thou -- sit thou here well,' and to the poor man may say, 'Thou -- stand thou there, or, Sit thou here under my footstool,' --

If you show special attention to the man wearing fine clothes and say, "Here's a good seat for you," but say to the poor man, "You stand there" or "Sit on the floor by my feet,"
雅2:4

这岂不是你们中间有了歧视,用恶意判断人么?

这岂不是你们偏心待人,用恶意断定人吗?

这不是你们对人有歧视,成了心怀恶意的审判官吗?

这岂不是你们自己立定区别,而按偏邪的心思判断人吗?
吕 
这岂不是你们心里有了分别,而以不正的看法鉴定人么?
直 
这岂不是你们区别人,以自己(的意思),且你们成为(有)恶意审判官?

καὶ οὐ διεκρίθητε ἐν ἑαυτοῖς καὶ ἐγένεσθε κριταὶ διαλογισμῶν πονηρῶν;

Have you not made distinctions among yourselves and become judges with evil reasonings?

Are ye not then partial in yourselves, and are become judges of evil thoughts?

have ye not made a difference among yourselves, and become judges having evil thoughts?

ye did not judge fully in yourselves, and did become ill-reasoning judges.

have you not discriminated among yourselves and become judges with evil thoughts?

我亲爱的弟兄们,请听,神岂不是拣选了世上贫穷的人,叫他们在信上富足,并承受祂所应许给那些爱祂之人的国么?

我亲爱的弟兄们,请听,神岂不是拣选了世上的贫穷人,叫他们在信上富足,并承受他所应许给那些爱他之人的国吗?
新 
我亲爱的弟兄们,请听:神不是拣选了在世上被认为贫穷的人吗?这些人却在信心上富足,而且是承受神的国的人。这国是神应许赐给爱他的人的。
思 
我亲爱的弟兄们,请听!天主不是选了世俗视为贫穷的人,使他们富于信德,并继承他向爱他的人所预许的国吗?
吕 
我亲爱的弟兄们请听,上帝岂不是拣选了世人以为穷的而富于信仰,以承受他所应许给爱他之人的国么?
直 
你们请听,我亲爱的弟兄们,不是神拣选了世上的贫穷人,(使他们)在信心上富足,并且这国度的继承者吗?这是他应许给那些爱他之人的。
原 
Ἀκούσατε, ἀδελφοί μου ἀγαπητοί· οὐχ ὁ θεὸς ἐξελέξατο τοὺς πτωχοὺς τῷ κόσμῳ πλουσίους ἐν πίστει καὶ κληρονόμους τῆς βασιλείας ἧς ἐπηγγείλατο τοῖς ἀγαπῶσιν αὐτόν;

Listen, my beloved brothers: Did not God choose the poor in the world to be rich in faith and heirs of the kingdom, which He promised to those who love Him?

Hearken, my beloved brethren, Hath not God chosen the poor of this world rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom which he hath promised to them that love him?

Hear, my beloved brethren: Has not God chosen the poor as to the world, rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom, which he has promised to them that love him?

Hearken, my brethren beloved, did not God choose the poor of this world, rich in faith, and heirs of the reign that He promised to those loving Him?

Listen, my dear brothers: Has not God chosen those who are poor in the eyes of the world to be rich in faith and to inherit the kingdom he promised those who love him?
雅2:6

你们反倒羞辱贫穷的人。那富足的人岂不是欺压你们,拉你们到法庭去么?

你们反倒羞辱贫穷人。那富足人岂不是欺压你们,拉你们到公堂去吗?

然而你们却侮辱穷人。其实,那些欺压你们,拉你们上法庭的,不就是富足的人吗?
思 
可是你们,竟侮辱穷人!岂不是富贵人仗势欺压你们,亲自拉你们上法庭吗?
吕 
你们呢、反倒每辱穷人。岂不是富足人压制你们,拖你们上法庭么?
直 
然而你们羞辱这贫穷人。岂不是那些富有人欺压你们,又他们强拉你们进入法院去的?
原 
ὑμεῖς δὲ ἠτιμάσατε τὸν πτωχόν. οὐχ οἱ πλούσιοι καταδυναστεύουσιν ὑμῶν καὶ αὐτοὶ ἕλκουσιν ὑμᾶς εἰς κριτήρια;

But you have dishonored the poor. Is it not the rich who oppress you and is it not they who drag you to the courts?
K  
But ye have despised the poor. Do not rich men oppress you, and draw you before the judgment seats?
D  
But *ye* have despised the poor [man]. Do not the rich oppress you, and [do not] *they* drag you before [the] tribunals?
Y  
and ye did dishonour the poor one; do not the rich oppress you and themselves draw you to judgment-seats;
I  
But you have insulted the poor. Is it not the rich who are exploiting you? Are they not the ones who are dragging you into court?

Is it not they who blaspheme the honorable name by which you are called?

Do not they blaspheme that worthy name by the which ye are called?

And [do not] *they* blaspheme the excellent name which has been called upon you?

do they not themselves speak evil of the good name that was called upon you?
I  
Are they not the ones who are slandering the noble name of him to whom you belong?
雅2:8

你们若照着经上“要爱邻舍如同自己”的话,成全这君尊的律法,你们就作得好了;

经上记着说:“要爱人如己。”你们若全守这至尊的律法,才是好的;

你们若照着圣经所说“要爱人如己”这话,去完成这至尊的律法,你们就作对了。
思 
的确,如果你们按照经书所说‘你应当爱你的近人如你自己’的话,满了最高的法律,你们便作的对了;
吕 
固然,你们如果依照经上所记“爱邻舍如同你自己”的话、行尽了赋有王权的律法,那好极了!
直 
倘若这至尊的律法你们切实地履行,根据这圣经(所记):“你们要爱你的邻舍如同你自己”,你们就做得很好。

εἰ μέντοι νόμον τελεῖτε βασιλικὸν κατὰ τὴν γραφήν, Ἀγαπήσεις τὸν πλησίον σου ὡς σεαυτόν, καλῶς ποιεῖτε·

If indeed you are fulfilling the royal law according to the Scripture, "You shall love your neighbor as yourself," you do well;

If ye fulfil the royal law according to the scripture, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself, ye do well:

If indeed ye keep [the] royal law according to the scripture, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself, ye do well.

If, indeed, royal law ye complete, according to the Writing, 'Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself,' -- ye do well;
I  
If you really keep the royal law found in Scripture, "Love your neighbor as yourself," you are doing right.

但你们若按外貌待人,便是犯罪,给律法定为犯法的。

因为凡遵守全律法,却在一条上失脚的,他就是犯了众条。

因为凡是遵守全部律法的,只要在一条上失足,就违犯所有的了。

因为谁若遵守全部法律,但只触犯了一条,就算是全犯了,

因为凡遵守全律法、而在一件事上失脚的、就有全部罪责了。

因为任何人这全部律法(他都)持守了,只是他绊跌在一条上,他成了全部有罪的。

ὅστις γὰρ ὅλον τὸν νόμον τηρήσῃ, πταίσῃ δὲ ἐν ἑνί, γέγονεν πάντων ἔνοχος.

For whoever keeps the whole law yet stumbles in one point has become guilty of all.

For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.

ὁ γὰρ εἰπών, Μὴ μοιχεύσῃς, εἶπεν καί, Μὴ φονεύσῃς· εἰ δὲ οὐ μοιχεύεις, φονεύεις δέ, γέγονας παραβάτης νόμου.

For He who said, Do not commit adultery, also said, Do not murder. Now if you do not commit adultery, but you murder, you have become a transgressor of the law.

For he that said, Do not commit adultery, said also, Do not kill. Now if thou commit no adultery, yet if thou kill, thou art become a transgressor of the law.

For he who said, "Do not commit adultery," also said, "Do not murder." If you do not commit adultery but do commit murder, you have become a lawbreaker.

你们既然要按自由的律法受审判,就该照这律法说话行事。

For the judgment is without mercy to him who has shown no mercy; mercy triumphs over judgment.

For he shall have judgment without mercy, that hath shewed no mercy; and mercy rejoiceth against judgment.

for judgment [will be] without mercy to him that has shewn no mercy. Mercy glories over judgment.

for the judgment without kindness is to him not having done kindness, and exult doth kindness over judgment.

because judgment without mercy will be shown to anyone who has not been merciful. Mercy triumphs over judgment!

我的弟兄们,若有人说自己有信心,却没有行为,有什么益处?难道这信心能救他么?

我的弟兄们,若有人说自己有信心,却没有行为,有什么益处呢?这信心能救他吗?

我的弟兄们,人若说他有信心,却没有行为,有什么益处呢?这信心能救他吗?

我的弟兄们,若有人说自己有信德,却没有行为,有什么益处?难道这信德能救他吗?

我的弟兄们,若有人说他有信心,却没有行为,有什么益处呢?难道这信心能救他么?

什么益处,我的兄弟们,若有人说有信心但没有行为?这信心能拯救他吗?

Τί τὸ ὄφελος, ἀδελφοί μου, ἐὰν πίστιν λέγῃ τις ἔχειν, ἔργα δὲ μὴ ἔχῃ; μὴ δύναται ἡ πίστις σῶσαι αὐτόν;

What is the profit, my brothers, if anyone says he has faith but does not have works? Can that faith save him?

What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him?

What [is] the profit, my brethren, if any one say he have faith, but have not works? can faith save him?

What is the profit, my brethren, if faith, any one may speak of having, and works he may not have? is that faith able to save him?

What good is it, my brothers, if a man claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save him?
雅2:15

若有弟兄或姊妹经常是赤身露体的,又缺了日用的食物,

若是弟兄或是姐妹赤身露体,又缺了日用的饮食,

如果有弟兄或姊妹缺衣少食,
思 
假设有弟兄或姐妹赤身露体,且缺少日用粮,
吕 
若有一个弟兄或姐妹素常赤身裸体,又缺欠每日的食物,
直 
倘若是弟兄或是姐妹他们没有衣服,又缺少这当日的食物;
原 
ἐὰν ἀδελφὸς ἢ ἀδελφὴ γυμνοὶ ὑπάρχωσιν καὶ λειπόμενοι ὦσιν τῆς ἐφημέρου τροφῆς,

If a brother or sister is without clothing and lacks daily food,

If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food,

Now if a brother or a sister is naked and destitute of daily food,

and if a brother or sister may be naked, and may be destitute of the daily food,

Suppose a brother or sister is without clothes and daily food.
雅2:16

而你们中间有人对他们说,平平安安地去吧,愿你们穿得暖,吃得饱;却不给他们身体所需用的,有什么益处?

你们中间有人对他们说,“平平安安地去吧!愿你们穿得暖吃得饱”,却不给他们身体所需用的,这有什么益处呢?

而你们中间有人对他们说:“平平安安地去吧!愿你们穿得暖,吃得饱。”却不给他们身体所需用的,那有什么用处呢?

即使你们中有人给他们说:“你们平安去吧!穿得暖暖的,吃得饱饱的!”却不给他们身体所必需的,有什么益处呢?
吕 
而你们中间却有人对他们说:“你们安心去好啦;愿你们穿得才,吃得饱”,却没有给他们身体上所必需的,有什么益处呢?
直 
然后从你们当中有人对他们说:“你们在平安里回去,使自己温暖并饱足”;却不给他们身体必须的东西,什么益处呢?

εἴπῃ δέ τις αὐτοῖς ἐξ ὑμῶν, Ὑπάγετε ἐν εἰρήνῃ, θερμαίνεσθε καὶ χορτάζεσθε, μὴ δῶτε δὲ αὐτοῖς τὰ ἐπιτήδεια τοῦ σώματος, τί τὸ ὄφελος;
R  
And any one of you says to them, Go in peace, be warmed and filled, yet you do not give them the necessities of the body, what is the profit?
K  
And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit?

and one from amongst you say to them, Go in peace, be warmed and filled; but give not to them the needful things for the body, what [is] the profit?

and any one of you may say to them, 'Depart ye in peace, be warmed, and be filled,' and may not give to them the things needful for the body, what is the profit?
I  
If one of you says to him, "Go, I wish you well; keep warm and well fed," but does nothing about his physical needs, what good is it?

信心也是这样,若没有行为,就是死的。

这样,信心若没有行为就是死的。

照样,如果只有信心,没有行为,这信心就是死的。

信德也是这样:若没有行为,自身便是死的。

οὕτως καὶ ἡ πίστις, ἐὰν μὴ ἔχῃ ἔργα, νεκρά ἐστιν καθ᾽ ἑαυτήν.

So also faith, if it does not have works, is dead in itself.
